okay, occording to my buddy Josh (who bleeds comic books)
Deadpool was going to have his own movie, but the p***y who played him in X men origins wants to be cast as the green lantern.
So now, we don't get a Deadpool move and we have a WHITE GREEN ******** green lantern was one of the few BLACK superheros who weren't utterly and sickeningly useless (Like that falcon p***y and static shock)
Ryan Reynolds, you p***y. Be Deadpool so we can watch a movie full of wise cracking body sock ninjas on speed.
actually, The only actor worthy of Deadpool is Tripple H

I'm sorry... but all of the green lanterns were awesome, particularly Kyle Raynor... Stewart was awesome, Hal Jordan was... Hal Jordan, and Guy Gardner sucked MAJOR d**k... anyhow off that topic, you can't hate on Static Shock, that comic was amazingly political, and had the first openly gay superhero in it and did a lot for paving the way for minority protagonists in the comic industry. Also it is worthing that the incarnation they used for deadpool in Wolverine was pants on head retarded... scratch that, the entire movie was pants on head retarded, and Ryan Reynolds should thank his lucky stars that he still gets work after being associated with that film. Also Triple H doesn't really count as an actor...

I read this thread and can't help but laugh. Very, very hard.
First of all, the Deadpool movie was doomed to be terrible. They massacred him in the X-Men Origins movie. (Even though I did like that movie, cuz' Hugh Jackman is hot as hell when he's slicing heads off.)
Also, there were multiple Green Lantern characters, not to mention Static Shock was a great show.
And Triple H is a greased up steroid jockey, and will probably end up pulling a Chris Benoit.

I hated what they did to Deadpool in the Wolverine movie. Hell, I just ******** hated the Wolverine movie. And I didn't have much hope for the Deadpool movie, even though I love Ryan Reynolds and think he was perfectly cast for that role. Like what has been previously stated, it was doomed to fail, so really it's a blessing in disguise that it never got off the ground.
As for the Green Lanturn, the first human Lanturn(the main character of the first series), as well as a few others after him, were white. And if I remember correctly, whatshisface(I forget his name) is the most recent Lanturn in the line. I dunno, while I love the Green lanturn, I haven't really kept up with the comics as of late.
And on the subject of Static Shock, despite his stereotypically wannabe hip-hop gangsta teenage black kid in the city(duh to the demographic he was marketed to at the time most likely), he is one of my favorite Marvel super heroes, and was my favorite T.V. show at the time.

I agree too. The only I reason hated static shock was because of his racial stereotype.
But that Falcon dude still sucks >.>
