Although she hadn't said it Gishoni got the distinct feeling that there was something Sauda wasn't tell him. Deciding not to allow it to effect him he pushed it to the back of his mind... he would find her if he needed, just watch her and discover if she was happy.
Gishoni's teeth glistened as a smile covered his lips, anticipation for blood was only part of the reason he had to be happy. If he was already on the way to becoming her friend would it really take much more to convience her to take him into her bed? To have his children? The combination of their genes would create such delicious looking children... worthy! The word was screaming in his mind, this mare was worthy! She may not be a Kalona but she had proved herself, she had flinched away from his nature nor had she retched at the idea of him drinking blood... and she had stood her ground. Guts... courage! Yes, she was indeed worthy. His new goal -convincing her!
Indicating that she should turn slightly to avoid a small boggy section of the forest he continued to lead her, although he had taken her the longer way they where nearly out of the forst now. Delaying more would look suspicious... but she had given him another opportunit to remain with her, one he intended to take. "Yes, we are nearly at the edge of the forest. See, the trees are already thinning." No longer where they thick and surround nearly so completely that they could see little else, in fact Gishoni's eyes could already see the clearing beyond.
Deciding to inform her of part of his new plan he said, "I shall accomany you home, I would not wish to worry for your safety after leaving you here." Yes, that sounded... nice? Right?

Sauda had no idea what thoughts were flowing through Gishoni's mind right now. The kalona intrigued her, sparking a sort of curiosity that she hadn't felt in quite some time. His presents was enjoyable, more so than her herd led her to believe about his kind. While she knew that he was dangerous, she didn't think that he would ever harm her unless she gave him a reason to. Gishoni wasn't the type to bring home to the family, not that she would dare to even consider it. If they found out about this, she might not be let out again. Hearing that they were coming to the boarder, Sauda glanced around. He was right, the trees were thinning out. How hadn't she noticed. Soon she'd be able to relax. Even though she was sure that she would be able to find her way out by herself, she liked the idea of Gishoni showing her the rest of the way. A part of her wanted to pout that they would be splitting so soon, and just as she was about to invite him to accompany her a little further, he spoke up stating his intentions to do just that. To say that her heart jumped a little would be an understatement. A smile lit up her face, and her eyes practically sparkled. What a gentleman! Breath, Sauda. Don't act so childish around him... he'll think you're weak. "Thank you, Gishoni. I'm glad to have you beside me," She said, trying to keep her enthusiasm at a decent level.

Gishoni looked straight ahead as they walked, he could hear the mares heart beating beside him and as the forests end was coming closer and closer the beast within him was struggling to get out, to take her now while they where still hidden... to rip her flesh from bone and to drink her blood. He resisted, and only with the experience of age had the power to resist the calling becoming readily avialable to him, Gishoni knew that once they left the forestthe voice would die down knowing the risk was far to great out in the open. Yet still, it would hunger.
"You are welcome." He said, the roughness of his voice the only sign of his current discomfort.
He licked his lips, the moisture needed to keep him sane, he was tempted to bit his own tongue and pretend the blood belonged to the exsquist creature beside him but instead he concentrated as hard as he could on what remained the forest. Five, four, three, two, one.... free. the openess of the field greeted them, welcomed them to the warm afternoon Sun that in many ways taunted poor Gishoni and his sensative eyes. Gishoni had lived in a cave for many years and although he had been considered a daywalker again for quite some time he was still blinded by the sudden intensity of light. He stopped closed his eyes and waited for them to adjust before her opened them and faced his companion once more.
"Lead the way then... m'lady."
