The afternoon air was brisk. The sun shone down across the glade, providing a warmth that would be comfortable for most. For some Herla, however, it was not. Kisharon was one of these Herla, and this was one of the days where he wished for nothing but a big, puffy cloud to block out the sun. The buck stood beside a river, watching the cool water run past. The ice on his body held a gentle shimmer in the bright sun, like that of the water's reflection below.
There was a pause as the buck raised his head towards the sky, peering into the bright blue sky, before he looked back to the river. His head leaned down, touching his nose to the water. Around it, the water grew cold and brittle, cracking as the surface froze. The herla then stood tall, watching the water with an almost curious gaze before he stepped forward. Under a hoof, the water froze, and he stepped solid above the river. Another hoof came forward. Then another. The buck stood firm atop the river, walking down it. With each step, the water below his hooves froze, and melted again as he stepped away.

 Snow had a similar capability; she too could freeze water... and currently; that's what she was doing. She concentrated really hard to make pretty things in the water; but as soon as she walked away from them; they were gone; and this frustrated her. She only wanted them to stay; so she could show them to others; so that others could enjoy them too... But she wasn't that powerful.
She sighed to herself as she made a rose; she liked roses; they were always so pretty to her. Some days she wished she was a rose... Becuase then more people would look at her... and if she turned red it would be a good thing.
She kicked at the water; splashing it a bit though not much and watched as the ripples soon disappeared with the flow of the water.

The large-framed Herla paused in his steps as he watched the ripples float by in the water. His eyes traced the circles back to their origin, and blinked as his gaze fell upon the blue yearling as she kicked at the river. Kisharon was silent for a few moments be before he glanced from her, to the ice at his feet, and walked towards her.
The ripples from her kicking froze, their circles delicate and unmoving, as he walked towards her. With each step on the river's surface, the crackling ice spread. "Frustrated?" His voice was its usual calm low tone, hinted with a slight airy, amused sound. His ears flicked and he tilted his head towards the side at the smaller doe, his horn glinting in the light that shone down to the water.

((at this point I'm saying snow is like... 10))
Snow looked up when she heard the other herla talk to her and her eyes widened slightly as her tail lowered pressed against her butt. Feeling a bit anxious and nervous all at once with how there was a strange adult around her. But then she noticed the ice around him; and the ice on his legs and she thought for a minute it was her fault... that she hadn't been thinking at all and she'd done something wrong. But when she saw that only the water around him was frozen... and not the water leading from her to him... It clocked.
Snow looked up at him with big wide eyes full of awe. "Did you do that?" She asked quietly wonder clear in her voice. "Can you freeze stuff too?" She asked getting a little excited; her tail starting to wiggle excitedly as a big wide smile spread across her face.
The prospect that someone else could be able to do things like her just lighting up her face. She wondered if he made ice sculptures too... Maybe he could teach her a few things... And then she could show it to Zydra and Calix!

Kisharon tilted his head at her curiously. At the hint of surprise that appeared on her features that were quickly replaced by child wonder. As her body began to wiggle, the duck could help but give an amused chuckle.
At her inquiry, he blinked down to the ice around him and glanced back to her. "Can you freeze stuff too?" So this one could freeze, too? He wondered what her parents were like, to give her such an ability. After a moment he shook his thoughts away and looked back to the yearling. "Freezing things is an ability of mine, yes." He gave a polite little smile, nodding his head towards her.
"Can you as well, little one?"

Snow nodded her head rapidly; her normal shyness melting away like ice thrown into a flame with this herla. It was far too hard to be shy; when there was someone so much like her so close to her as well.
"mmhmm! uh-huh! I can!" She told the Hart excitedly trotting up to him and around him looking him up and down happily especially at his legs... she'd never thought about covering her body in ice like that!!! "I like making stuff with ice!" She said giggling. "Like flowers and stuff... nothing too hard cause it hurts to think that long..."
She admitted the steam running out. She hadn't shown anyone she could do this yet... She was so excited to have met someone else like her! She wondered if he was really cold too! And how other people dealt with that!
"Want me to show you!!" she asked stopping; her legs spread out wide and looking up at him with wide happy eyes. Though it wasn't really a question; since she planned on showing him anyways.

The suddenly excited nature of the yearling made Kisharon blink in surprise. After her long-breathed statement, the stag couldn't help but smile and give a light-hearted chuckle, nodding his head. To be honest, he was rather curious himself to find someone who also had control over ice.
The large stag's head quirked to the opposite side as he looked down at her, his tail curling around his hind legs. "I would love to have you show me,"' he said with a curt not of the head. He considered her a moment before continuing. "And if it is difficult for you to concentrate that long, as you say, perhaps I can help."
His head nodded and shifted his legs, the water in the river that flowed near them having frozen. At his movement, there was a crack as the ice separated from his legs and flowed back into water.

Snow watched as the ice seemed to melt away to water and she stared at it in wonder. Now she knew why everyone was always so impressed with her when she did something. When he said he wanted to see though she smiled wide and giggled excitedly bouncing around in a circle like the excited little fawn she was.
"My names Snow!" She said suddenly stopping and looking up at him with a big smile. "I forgot to tell you 83... and! oh! and I would like to make you a flower!!" she exclaimed happily nodding her head.
She took a few steps back and lowered her head to the water looking at it closely. A small frown crossed her face as she pictured the image in her mind. A small daisy. She would make him a daisy.
After a few minutes of concentrating and moving her hooves a bit she saw the stem starting to form. It worked its way up slowly until she saw the leaf and then the actual daisy with petals and everything.
"Finished!" She said excitedly; lowering her head to pluck it out and lift it up to show it to Kish.
