Welcome to Shagatsu's Shrine of Meditation.
The first group meditation will start Friday, Jan 13.
Please feel free to meditate alone by waterfall outside of town. This is where the first group session will be held.
If you have questions, shagatsu will often be found meditating there himself. Or, you can find him in the cave behind the waterfall
The meditation is free.

Yokome entered the meditation shrine and greeted the keeper of the shrine. 'Kombanwa. How are you this evening?' she said while making a slow, deep bow. 'I am a young maiko who just wished to come here to clear her mind. I am so busy these days and just need to relax for a few minutes'

ahhh, welcome Yokome. You have come to the right place. My name is Shagatsu. Please forgive me for the unpainted shrine. I just built it not too long ago and havent found the time nor materials to paint it yet. I hope the waterfall suits your tastes. As you might know, The meditation is free. You can meditate either on the flat rocks on the left of the waterfall which is closer to the babble of the water, you can sit on one of the small, flat rocks in front of the waterfall, which is closest to the water, or, you can sit on the right side near the forest where i play Gu Zheng or sing. if you would like to sit on the right side without My playing or singing, please just say so. Thank-you! biggrin

'Why thank you, Shagatsu-san.' Yokome said giving him another bow. 'This shrine is absolutely stunning to look at! You have done a marvelous job. I didn't even notice it was unpainted. I would really love to mediate while listening to you sing. When I hear people sing it just calms me greatly. Ohh! and I do recognize you from the teahouse! I will be sure to give them your regards the next time I stop by there.' Yokome then slipped her shoes off and sat where Shagatsu-san had said he would be singing and playing.

Shagatsu walked over to the rock he used to sit down on. He picked up his book of music and picked out a song he had written. He somehow thought the girl would like this song more than the others. He began softly and sang the first low note. This song was a song of relaxation. It was slow and seemed to flow with the water. He had never had a single audience before. it seemed almost embarassing. what would she think? would she like it?? he almost faltered but then caught himself. He kept singing while he watched the waterfall.

He finished the song with a long flourished note. it felt so good to sing. He sat in the silence for a moment. "did she fall asleep?' he thought with a chuckle xp
