Locke Trufeld (( Please do keep in mind that this is a RP thread. Please try to keep OoC Posts out of this thread. And.. also keep in mind that this guild is it's own forum as well. Only Vanguardians will see what you post in this guild, so if you have something to say, if you really want, you can start your own thread here as well, whether if it's IC or OoC. It'd be nice if the titles say "OoC" somewhere, if it's OoC. ))

Partisus ((Continued from Grand Vanguard)) Upon arriving in Vann Sky on the bus shuttle, he made sure that Nightshade was being properly unloaded, then went to the office of the freighter pilot he had come to see.Partisus: “You’re the one looking for someone to do some mining, right?” Freighter Pilot: “That I am. And you are?” P: “I’m known as Partisus. I’m here to fill the position.” FP: “You got your own equipment?” P: “My mech is waiting in the hangar.” FP: “Are you any good with it?” P: “Quite. Do you have a particular spot in mind?” FP: “Yeah. We found some asteroids with some fairly high concentrations of metals a few days ago. That’s why I put that ad up instead of waiting--I don’t want somebody else to get there first.” P: “OK, shall we go then?” FP: “Sure thing. Get your mech to bay 5 and I’ll meet you there.” *Several hours later, in the asteroid fields* FP: “OK, here we are. Why don’t you start with that one over there?” P: “Sure.” *chopping up asteroids, blah blah* FP: “OK, the hold’s about full. Time to head back.” P: “To Vann Sky, then.” FP: “Actually, to Grand Vanguard, unless there is a problem. They pay better for this stuff.” P: “Oh. Even better.” FP: “OK, get your mech in here and we’ll head to the hyper jump.” After loading Nightshade into the freighter, the ship turned around and left for the hyper jump.((Continued in Grand Vanguard))

Locke Trufeld On the long range sensors of Vann Sky, an energy reading can be seen for a good two seconds in a space two or three systems away. For any natural cause, the reading was too large and too long. The signal fades on the sensors, leaving no trace of evidence, but to perhaps investigate..

Guilliam Yaeger *Arriving in Vann Sky, Heath brings the Phantom into it's docking bay. Yaeger recognizes it as the same bay that once housed his old Gespenst Mk II M* Guilliam: Well, there's a few memories here.......not all good though.......well, looks like a tide of stones came in..........racing around is going to be a lot tougher than I thought.........well, we've got the best of the best. I'm sure we'll make it through... Jace: Who are you talking to? Guilliam: Shut up.

Locke Trufeld *Finally arriving at Vann Sky, the Aqua Valiance exits the Hyper Gate as it opens.*
We're finally back at Vann Sky, Vicki. I'm sure you might want to do some stuff real quick since it has been a long time since we've been here. As the Governor, I'm sure there's some tasks for you to do.
*He turns to the crews of the ship.*
Kujaviak, Vicki, and I will be teleporting to Vann Sky. I want this ship docked when you arrive, and may take a break until the end of the race.Crews: Yes, sir.Rolard: *The constant pecking at a loaf of bread comes to a halt as he notices Locke getting up. After tearing a large piece of the bread off for himself, he flies back onto Locke's shoulder and continues to eat there, dropping crumbs all over his Uniform Top.* o.o*He makes his way to the teleport room with Kujaviak and Vicki. He goes through the post-teleportation routine by setting coordinates, and disappears from the room with the other two governors.*

Well thanks, talk to you later.....oh! and could you feed Michelangelo for me? thanks" Alexander clicked off the Vid phone in the Vann Sky Dock 2 Lobby. He turned and walked off toward the racer reception area... ((Mission Option in Avantgarde Thread))

Vickicat Yeah... ::She walks over to her computer, checking through it to see if anything happened while she was gone. She notices that something had been picked up by the sensors.:: What is that? That's very wierd... Locke come look at this. Something strange was picked up, but I can't tell what it is.

Locke Trufeld What? What is it? *He walks over to the computer and looks over the replay of the long-range sensor readings.*
... That's the same area where I've been feeling some sort of activity.. Perhaps it's worth checking. I'll have some patrol ships check it out later.
.. Anyway, we should go check on Alexander now. He should be returning from the race soon.
*He turns around and heads for the docks, as he takes out his vid-phone to contact the patrol units and defense fleets.*

Guilliam Yaeger *From the streets of Vann Sky, several speakers shout out the race results, or at least what the announcer can make of it* Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the Vanguardian Grand Prix has brought us to Vann Sky. I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to provide any information until the team exits the asteroid field, as it's been deemed too hazardous for Civilians without a basic mech lisence, or a Class S Racepass to enter. As you may or may not be aware of, we have a new racer taking the place of one of our no shows. It's to be noted that his access was granted by special permission from the Governor and no other such entries will be accepted. Furthermore............wait.........wait! I( do believe I see them exiting the asteroids now and they look glad to be outta there!(OoC: No freaking kidding. It took FOREVER to get through THAT part of the course.) I see them pulling into the Vann Sky hangars at the finish line now! Who's getting out of that F-29 in first?...........I do believe it's Governor Fedelki from Avantgarde! He's secured a first place win! Coming in behind him is Partisus, tailed by Dion and Arcainth respectively! In fifth we have the newcomer Darc! He puts himself on the leaderboard with a fifth at the very least! Coming in last are Yaeger and Garde! Too bad fellows, maybe next time. Well folks, I'm sorry we couldn't bring it to you live, but those are the breaks. We'll have to shoot for a better run at the Mythril Legion. *Monitors all around the Vann Sky residential district show off the Leaderboard for the Grand Prix* GRAND PRIX LEADERBOARD 1st - Arcainth (12 Pts) 2nd - Fedelki (9 Pts) 3rd - Dion/Partisus (8 Pts Each) 5th - Garde (7 Pts) 6th - Guilliam (5 Pts) 7th - Darc (1 Pt)

Leowen "WHOOOOOOO!" Alexander yelled as he fired the last booster on his ship and skyrocketed towards the finish line. The light flashed green and the scoreboard flashed --A. Fedelki ~ 1st Place-- "Yea! Thats what Im talking about!" smileing as the other pilots eventually made their way across the finish line. The group then piloted back to the racer's dock.... --------- The airlock clamped down and Alexander vaulted out of his seat into the awaiting door. He stepped into lobby with the other racers and a happy crowd was cheering. Waving cheerfully, Alexander spotted a farmiliar face through the crowd. Locke Trufeld was leaning over some sort of panel. Alexander made his way through the crown apologetically; finally breaking free he ran up to Locke. "Locke! its been a couple years scince Ive seen you in person hah hah. So whats going on?"

Locke Trufeld *He smiles as he sees Alexander in the crowd, making his way for him. That specific sight of him gave him assurance of his successes, which helped him ease his thoughts at the moment.*
Things have been going steady around here since then. As you can see, Grand Vanguard has expanded into two more colonies as well as a mobile military base. Anyway, congratulations on your first place victory, Alex. Rolard: o.o *Flaps his wings to maintain his balance on Locke's shoulder.*Seems like you've been doing good since then. Can't get enough of pilotting either, huh? I wouldn't have minded joining in on the race myself, but there were those pirate problems that we have to take care of. So far, they're no big threat to us, but we can't leave them like this. ..
*He turns around, noticing a few people a few yards away behind him, setting up the cameras.*
Looks like you're going up on TV, Alex. Good luck.
*He steps aside for the camera crew to get a better shot at Alex.*Lay Giev: Hello, Governor Fedelki, this is Lay Giev of Sports News LIVE. May we have a minute or two for an interview for your victory in the race?
