Manami was off causing havoc once more as was her delight in life, racing around the park, climbing things, jumping over things, knocking things and other kids over, and otherwise being a pain. She was having a ton of fun though if the look on her face was any indication. After a while the fox girl headed up to settle down on the top of the slide, using it as the perfect perch and look out spot so that she could investigate the area around her.
This place, the top of the slide that was, was all her now she thought to herself, so long as she was here she wasn't going to share it since it was the best place in the area for getting a good look around the area. Her trio of tails wagged behind her, her ears turned forward and back, and she seemed to be searching for something or someone that would amuse her. The last time she was placing around here she was able to meet with the rainbow girl, Pogo. Perhaps today she would be just as lucky and find someone else just as interesting to play with while she was left to wander the park at her leisure.

Vance was very happy. His father had taken him to the park today. He played catch, he played with him on the swings and everything. A long while had gone by, and Vance was still full of energy. Donovan however was running low on fuel. The young man had laid down and let the boy do as he pleased, which for sometime involved 'pile things on daddy'.
After many towers of toys landing on his face, Donovan instructed Vance to find a friend to play with while he recovered. Vance toddled off to look for a fun place to play then. He eventually saw the slide, and the girl on top of the slide. He stared up, fidgeting with his clothes and wandered slowly to the bottom of the slide. "HI!" He yelled suddenly, smiling. What was she doing up there not sliding? Was she queen of the slide? Oooooh.

Manami's ears turned toward the boy first before the rest of her followed suit and instantly she seemed interested in the boy who was at the bottom of 'her' slide. What an interesting look he had about him she thought to herself, taking in his ruby red eyes, something she'd never seen before. The girl lifted a hand to wave a the boy before she grinned, "Hello there." She called back to him, since he was an interesting find with interesting features she decided that she was going to have to investigate further. As such she moved to go down the slide, hands on the edge of it slow her down so she didn't crash into the very person she wanted to talk with.
Once she was at the bottom the girl shifted closer, leaning into Vance's personal space to stare at him through her 'fox eyes' before her lips turned up into another smile, "Manami likes your pretty eyes." She complimented him.

Vance smiled and waved back, and watched the girl as she shimmied down the slide. He stepped back a bit, thinking the girl wanted off the slide, until she seemed to get right into his personal space. He stared straight back at her, apparently not having much of a bubble yet at his age. The boy tilted his head when she smiled, wondering what had fascinated her so much.
Who was Manami? Was her name Manami? But... she liked his eyes? Vance smiled happily, wiggling a bit. No one ever complimented his eyes before. He giggled in response. "I'm Vance." He introduced himself with a happy squeak. "Are you Manami?" He asked the girl, looking behind her in case maybe she had spoken for an invisible friend.

"Vance?" She asked before nodding and smiling as though deciding that she rather liked his name as well, "It is good to meet you, Vance."
The girl's trio of tail set to wagging behind her and she gave a bright smile, "Yes, she is named Manami." She said, patting her hands against her chest as she introduced herself before she settled down to sit cross legged on the end of the slid. Vance seemed very nice and she rather liked his coloration which had her studying him in an intent manner as she did whenever she met someone who's traits she wanted to learn to copy.
"Would Vance like to play with Manami? She is bored of playing games by herself."

"It's good to meet you, Manami." Vance mimicked back, nodding and then swinging his arms back and forth for no apparent reason.
This girl talked funny. But that was okay, because she was nice, and had fluffy tails... three of them. He briefly wondered if they would make nice pillows. "Okay!" He said with a firm nod of his head. He would play with the weird girl thing. It was now his duty! He made a salute, then flopped his arms to the side and swung them again. "What games does Manami know? Someone taught me Hide and Seek. I dunno another one." He explained to her. Maybe she could teach him a game? Or they could play make believe? Sometimes his daddy pretended to be a big monster to take Vance away, and Vance would run about or try to slay the monster by tackling him.

Manami seemed to think about that question for a long moment before giving a little grin, "Manami is a fan of the tag game. She also wrestles with her older brother some times as well as plays the copy cat game." She told her new friend when she finally decided upon what all games she liked the best. The best game, the one that involved driving Amano crazy, wasn't one that could be played without Amano present which was a shame.
"She is up for any game that Vance would like to play though because she likes him." Manami said, pushing to her feet before she hopped off the end of the slide and stretched out all over, "Depending on what game we play though Manami might have to change what she is."

The way Manami spoke confused the small boy, but he seemed to just go along with it all regardless. She listed off the names, and the toddler crossed his arms and went into 'deep' thought. It was important to choose the right game, and apparently Manami might have to change or something.
"Okay!" Vance said suddenly, raising his arms. "Let's play tag!" That sounded interesting. "What is it?" The boy asked with an expectant smile on his face. In actuality, he had sort of played it with his father, but aforementioned father never said the name, and just happened to chase the boy around the house once in a while.

Manami gave a dramatic gasp, as though in shock that he didn't know what tag was! She reached a hand out to pat him on the head in a gentle manner, "Manami will teach you all about the fun game that is tag!" She said then her trio of tails set to wagging behind her rapidly.
"Alright! It is an easy game, all you have to do is yell 'TAG' and touch the other person playing before running off to try to keep from getting tagged back." She said, the motioned with her hands, "Manami will allow for Vance to run first and she will give chase, sound good?"

Vance nodded and smiled as Manami explained the ways of the game. This game sounded like a lot of fun! Vance loved running. "Okay!" He said excitedly.
He backed up a bit, giggling preemptively in anticipation of the soon to come chase, then turned and darted out into the park. He ran around as fast as his little legs would take him, looking back every so often to see where Manami was, making sure he was still being followed.

Manami gave a mental count in her head to give her friend some time to run on ahead, her tails wagging wildly behind her. When she was sure that he had enough time to run ahead the girl gave a squealing sound and raced off after him as quickly as her little feet with take her. She had only played this game with Arlen so it would be interesting and fun to do so with someone her own age, size, and hopefully speed. Arlen was speedy so it was a game that was much harder to play with him.
"Here I come!" She called out, giving her new friend fair warning that she was giving chase.

Vance squeaked when he heard the girl call after him. He laughed and ran around obstacles to try and slow Manami down. He ducked under the slide, looped around poles and swing sets, anything he thought was a genius way to avoid being tagged. Vance giggled the more he ran. He'd never played this game before. He loved it! Anything that allowed him to waste so much energy was good in his books.
Eventually, Vance stumbled while running, probably giving just enough down time to be tagged. He squeaked a bit, knowing he might not be able to dodge this time.

This boy made the game rather interesting, didn't he? He was actually good at it! Not as good as Arlen but then again she was pretty sure he was the fastest person in the entire world! Regardless the fact that Vance was able to run so well, and dodge around obstacles as well, made the game fun for her! As such she was starting to like this boy more and more and not just because he had pretty eyes and hair that she wanted to learn to copy!
Manami say the boy stumbled and she gave a squealing sound of delight, putting on an extra burst of speed so that she could pounce on him, "Yay! Tags!" She squealed, giving a bright smile and a giggle before scrambling off of him and tried to race off ahead of him.

Vance squeaked and toppled over as he was pounced and tagged. He laughed happily and scrambled to his feet. This game was awesome! Vance turned and chased after Manami... the very fast Manami. He didn't chase friends before, so he had nothing to compare to, but boy could she move! This wasn't going to get him down! Vance chased after her, motoring along as fast as his little legs would get him. He squealed with delight as he ran after his new friend. He'd slip a bit or stumble, but he kept after her.
"I'm gonna get yoooou!" He called after her as he got close.

Manami looked over her shoulder, grinning a grin that only a fox could before she did her best to keep ahead of him. The only down side to being a fox though was that even though she were keeping herself just ahead of the other boy her tails were swishing behind her within reach of his hands. No matter how hard she tried to push herself she just didn't have the speed that her big brother had... it was somethings he was going to have to request him to teach her about!
"No, no catching Manami! She is very fast!" She said, pushing to try to get ahead of him but still her tails were just begging to be tagged. Next round she would need to remember to wrap them around herself she thought to herself. For now though she was certain that despite her boasting she was on the verge of being tagged. Well... at least Amano wasn't around to see or she would never hear the end up it.
