Yoshi's Studio

Welcome to Yoshi's modest little studio apartment! Despite his young age, Yoshi's adopted parents have rented Yoshi a studio complex for their genius little 'son'. After all, how is he supposed to concentrate at home with around thirty or so 'siblings' and gain international acclaim? So of course, he has a studio apartment where he can be alone and concentrate on the important stuff, like school work!
Truthfully, Yoshi barely uses this studio apartment unless he really wants to get away from his bustling mansion house for over a twenty-four hour period. Entering the studio one would first see the convertible couch, which is usually opened since it allows Yoshi to watch TV laying down. Off to the side of the entrance in a door is a smaller separated bathroom. The bathroom isn't very large but it's enough, containing a single sink, a towel rack, a toilet, and a frosted glass showering area.
Then, inside the main room are, as stated, a couch, a television set mounted on the wall, a dining table with two seats, and a, compared to Yoshi's relative size, large bed off by the corner. The kitchenette contains a sink, a square of electric stoves, though Yoshi hardly uses them, a microwave, the fridge, and various utensils. A small step ladder is off to the side in case Yoshi ever needs to get something high up, he still occasionally needs to use it to look over the counter top. The fridge is full of microwavable food of various sorts without really any food that requires cooking since Yoshi can't do that yet.

Sasaki “Yoshi” Yoshiro
“Only Human” -----------------------------------------------------------
Well weren't they quite the sight? A young boy, no bigger than four feet tall, carrying a slightly older girl who was taller than he was with blood dripping from her bandaged shoulder onto Yoshi's left hand as he carried her fireman-style towards his studio. People stared at him in the streets but he didn't care, as long as Faux-chan was okay. Hopefully she was.
As he entered into the apartment complex by pushing open the doors with his backside, gaining assorted looks by any passing by, Yoshi made his way towards the elevators and waited, somewhat awkwardly alongside any other people waiting to go up. Entering, Yoshi went up to the third floor and continued down the hall towards his room, 324.
Looking around, Yoshi lightly placed Faux-chan down on the floor so he could pull out his room key. Yes, despite his young age he had his own studio, where he would get away from the noisiness of his house. Unlocking and opening the door, Yoshi bent back down over to pick up Faux-chan, his eyes scrunched a bit as a bit of blood had seeped into the carpet of the floor.
Heading inside, he first went to put Faux-chan down on his convertible couch, already opened, and placed her down on top of the white sheets, they could always be washed, after all. He wasn't sure what to do about Faux-chan though, the only medical expertise he had was gotten from... well... books, he only knew a bit about tourniquets and applying pressure and bandaging. Was it even possible to tourniquet a shoulder?
Well first thing's first, he should probably remove the bandage, after all it was leaky! Moving Faux-chan's clothing to get a proper look at the bandage, though a light blush filled his face at doing such a thing, Yoshi frowned a bit as he looked at it, dripping over the white sheets of his futon. It looked tied on pretty tight. Then it hit him! Quickly running to the kitchenette, Yoshi went up the small step-ladder he used to reach high places, including the counter top, he scanned the shelves for a pair of scissors.
A glint of metal caught his eyes as he then reached for it, found them! Then, running back over to where Faux-chan was, he began to methodically snip apart the bandage so it could be easily removed. After around five minutes of the tedious snipping, Yoshi tried his best to not snip Faux-chan's skin, he let out a small sigh as he finished, setting the bloodied scissors on the table before he took both hands and began to remove the bandage.
"I hope she doesn't have 'STD's." Yoshi thought to himself, half-jokingly, as he put the bloody bandages ontop of the coffee table next to the scissors. After all, wasn't Health class ever so enjoyable? Now he had to put something around it... But he wasn't any good at that stuff! Still... Getting up again, Yoshi ran to the small bathroom to take one of the towels, a small white one too. Soaking it in cold water and then wringing it semi-dry so that it wasn't dripping, Yoshi then ran back to Faux-chan.
Not a hundred percent sure how to do it properly, Yoshi folded the towel twice so that it was narrow and then wrapped it around where the bandages previously where. Though it probably wouldn't stay on if she got up, it was the best that Yoshi could do on such short notice. Now, having finished what he thought he needed, he really wished that he had put Faux-chan closer to the back of the convertible couch so he could had some space too, but it couldn't be helped and he didn't want to wake her up. Yawning a bit, he was still a bit tired from his nap, even though it was supposed to be rejuvenating it just made him even sleepier, Yoshi made do with the little edge he got near Faux-chan and began to drift off into another nap.

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Sounds flooded her ears for what seemed like forever. Gasping and grunts, chimes and any other assortment they passed by. Though the sources were unseen and for the most part uncared for. They were but subtle muses plaguing the depths of her subconscious. She could feel her body be laid to rest on some soft surface, it allowed her mind peace and ease. To lay comfortably the disturbance of noise any longer.
She opened her eyes slightly and sat for a moment, the brightness of her surroundings seemed to have gotten to her already. It wasn't excessively bright but after a sleep any light could seem extreme. She shut them back and raised her right arm, placing it on her left shoulder. She could feel the towel that was placed there, who had done it? Yoshi? Or was she back in another hospital. No, a hospital would have used a bandage any competent healthcare proprietor would use a bandage. So she resigned herself to being in a home, having rested for quite some time she could tell the wound on her shoulder had clotted itself. As long as she didn't push herself it would be fine. Her right hand gripped the cloth and slid it off as she sat up. Her breathing became heavy from doing just that, being small was always such a chore. She slid her robe back into position so that she wouldn't be exposed at all.
She then spotted Yoshi curled on the edge of the bed, couch, whatever they called it. So it was him, she'd have to thank him but why sleep on a bloodied bed and not in his own room. Beyond that, did his parents hold no contest to him bringing a bloodied girl into their home. She was thinking to much, all that mattered was that she was okay. She removed the and from her hair and allowed the cascade of black locks to fall about her shoulders. It's length alone being enough to hide the wound that stood prominent on her left. She probably should have worn her hair like this to begin with. A young girl shouldn't run around openly with a wounded and bandaged shoulder.
"Hey...Kid." Her voice was hoarse and came out as little more than a whisper. She closed her mouth and attempted to clear her throat, she could feel the vibrations of her neck in her shoulder. Causing it to tingle slightly, but nothing painful. His name returning to her as she finished with her preparation of talking. that's Yoshiro Sasaki in the west. "Yoshi..." 'but you can call me Yoshi' She managed to get out in one breath before falling silent again. Hopefully he wasn't a heavy sleeper, she would get aggravated quickly over having to say his name multiple times. It became tedious very fast.

Sasaki “Yoshi” Yoshiro
“Only Human” -----------------------------------------------------------
A faint voice echoed inside his dream. It was an odd dream too, foxes and white masks running around here and there, a bit chaotic like. ’Hey… Kid’ echoed throughout his head as the dream went on until the voice died out. It sounded familiar though… Really familiar, yet at the same time he wasn’t sure if he recognized it or not, and the dream was still going on. Mumbling incomprehensible words in his sleep, he rolled over towards the general direction of the voice.
’Yoshi… Yoshi… Yoshi…’ Again that voice reverberated through out his dream as the dream carried on with the foxes in a forest of some sort. As it echoed though, it looked like it was bouncing off around and then his dream shattered into blackness. Tiredly, Yoshi opened his eyes and the sight that met them caused him to blink his eyes a bit. A… girl? What was she doing here?
Blinking a few times to clear his vision, Yoshi slowly began to remember everything that had happened. His nap on the hilltop, the broken bridge, and the bleeding girl! Where were they though? It looked familiar but he couldn’t quite put a name to it. Oh right! They were at his studio apartment! Again, his memories began to slowly flood in. And this girl was hurt!
Now Yoshi got himself up in a sitting position, his feet just barely touching the floor. Uhmm… had she called him or was he just dreaming? Looking back over to where the girl was, her name was Faux-chan wasn’t it, Yoshi asked her. ”Uhm… are you alright? Do you need anything?” He asked, a bit of uncertainty wavering on his voice as he asked, getting up at the same time in case he had to run to get it.

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Words didn't seem to stir the boy immediately, her first words were almost ineffective completely for him. He merely rolled on the small edge where he lay and faced in Faux's direction. It was kind of cute, how his innocence seemed to remain the same regardless of if he were awake or asleep. Though what was he mumbling about, his words were not very audible. Probably having a nightmare, she'd have to ask him about it. She knew that it helped her get over frightening things if it was brought to the light. It made confrontations all the more easy.
Then he would awake, with all the confusion in the world. His blank stare was enough to show he wasn't fully awake. She couldn't help but smile at the dazed expression he wore. Though with every second the unfamiliar look became more clear apparently, as his face changed from one of confusion. He seemed his normal cheery self, albeit worried still for her safety.
"I am fine." She remembered those same words she had spoken several hours before. Saying she was fine, when certainly she was not. It was the reason she ended up in this mess, putting on a tough facade. At least now she truly felt as if she was okay. She slid her legs over the edge of the bed and planted her hands before pushing off to stand. Her left hand tingled with the blood that didn't come through all the way, much exited directly through her shoulder. She curled her fingers several times until she was certain that her arm was fine. "Who helped you bring me here? I'd like to thank them and be on my way."
She couldn't even fathom that someone was small as Yoshi had carried her here. Her first and only conclusion was, of course, that someone else had helped him in this task. She extended her arms upward as her fingers interlaced. Eyes squinting from the pain in her shoulder, the faint sound of air escaping in her vertebrae could be heard. She had fallen asleep with the scroll on her back, it was going to need a bit more stretching before it was fine. Finishing her stretches she turned back to Yoshi in case he worried about her condition still. She truly was fine for now, brushing her hair aside she slowly moved her robe to reveal her shoulder and the wound that had already clotted. "Thank you for the towels, kid."

“Uhm… Okay then, Faux-chan.” Yoshi said, still slightly unsure. Didn’t she say she was fine before she collapsed and fell over? Maybe she really wasn’t fine right now, but she didn’t look as bad as she did before. Still though… what if she actually wasn’t fine and was just saying that? Yoshi didn’t know how to react to something like that. Should he keep making sure? But if he did, then wouldn’t she just say keeping she was fine? He felt his head start to spin from the whole situation and Yoshi went ahead and took a seat again. Well, Faux-chan didn’t say she needed anything yet, so he could sit down, right?
“Helped me bring you here?” Yoshi reiterated what Faux-chan said with a rising note at the end, the index finger on his right hand extended out and touched the bottom of his lips as he didn’t immediately understand the question. Of course he had brought her here, who else could? But before he could say so, the rest of Faux-chan’s sentence then hit Yoshi. Right away his hand fell away from his face and his head jerked up when he heard that.
“Y-y-you’re leaving?” Yoshi stammered out as his eyes rounded, looking at Faux-chan as she went ahead and did her stretches for some reason. Doing stretches meant that you were getting ready to do something, didn’t it? They always started a training session with stretches beforehand. After Faux-chan finished stretching, she then began to brush her long hair. Yoshi didn’t really understand why, or even try to understand, but he felt a sort of connection and possibly looked up to her, for some odd reason.
”Can I come visit you at your house, Faux-chan?” Yoshi asked her, a slight note of pleading in his voice as she finished up brushing her hair and then showed him her shoulder, it still looked bloody but not as bad as it was before and then thanked him. Maybe they could be friends, even though he was younger than her? Hopefully, that would be great for Yoshi! Even though he wasn’t exactly unpopular at school, far from it really, everyone there was way too old to hang out with a ‘kid’ like him, even if they didn’t say it out loud.

Did he not comprehend the simple question of who helped him carry her. Did he do it alone, this small boy carried her and all of her ninja gear alone. It was preposterous to even think something like that was possible. He was probably playing coy to seem strong in front of a girl. She had to turn it over to him still being so young. Though she often looked to those younger than her as kids, truth be told she wasn't that old either. But it was pointless, if he didn't want to tell he didn't have to. In truth it wouldn't matter as she would probably never see them again.
"Yes, leaving. I have to find the kitsu..." Her sentence trailed off at the end. What was she doing talking about what she saw to some little boy. Speaking openly about the beings she was chasing, perhaps she felt a little to safe in this apartment. This only made her want to leave even more. She placed the ribbon in her mouth as she readjusted her robes. Afterwords pulling her hair up and held the bundle within her left hand. She was trying to shake off what she just said.
Eyes, her purple eyes would shoot open for a moment as she held her hair in place. Frozen in time from the simple question Yoshi had just asked her. Sure he was a nice kid, but she didn't know him to well. Not only that, not even she could return to her home until next year. Those were just the way things were, and it would not change. Not but silence echoed through the studio for a few moments before she retrieved the ribbon and tied her hair back into the ponytail, snugging the loops atop her head so it was locked tight.
"It's better if we stay away from each other Yoshi. Or the demons will get you..." She spoke this seriously, and of course she meant it seriously. But it was a ploy most 'adults' used to make children afraid of certain things. This time was no different, if Yoshi feared demons as she hoped he did, hopefully he'd be scared to stay away from her. Though his lapsed reactions would probably delay that until he was directly confronted. Much like at the bridge, he didn't realize how high it was until Faux directed his attention towards it. Even after that he did not back away until he confirmed it with sight. How blissful to be ignorant of the world's dangers. "It'd be better for you to stay here."
Yes her adultlike way of speech was very evident. telling him what was better for him as if she were his parent. Beyond the fact that staying here, where she felt safe, and resting would be better for her. She ignored it and would continue anyway as she seemed to meet new beasts everyday. She couldn't wait to see what else existed, and what they could do. There had to be something else, wouldn't it be interesting if all the creatures of legends were real.

“The kitsu? What are they?” Yoshi asked Faux-chan after she said she had to leave to find them. Yoshi wasn’t a hundred percent sure what was going on, but it was starting to sound like an anime or something, as if Faux-chan was going on a quest. Well, people on a quest often got party members, didn’t they? Maybe Yoshi could come with her! Then that way he could help Faux-chan on her ‘quest’! As he began to work on her hair, something Yoshi never understood why girls did it, she suddenly just opened her eyes and seemingly froze.
Yoshi was far from comfortable with the silence that flooded in after that, or with what filled the silence afterwards. As Faux-chan fit her hair back into a ponytail, Yoshi cocked his head slightly to the left. Stay away from each other? Demons? The only thing that Yoshi could really think of were those white-masked things that were large and tried to eat people. However… there was that funnily dressed swordsman who Yoshi often saw fighting with the ‘demons’. They even talked a few times, though a lot of people seemed to ignore him, which was one reason why Yoshi had spoken with the man.
Come to think of it, the clothing Faux-chan wore kind of looked like the ones he wore, what did he call himself, a Shinigami? There were a few slight discrepancies, like the fact that Faux-chan wasn’t wearing those looong pants and hers were a shade of people instead of black. Maybe she knew the big Shinigami man? Yoshi couldn’t be sure but he sure didn’t see those ‘demons’, what did Shinigami-san call them, Hollows, as anything that could ‘get him’. A few had even tried before.
“Huh? Those demon Hollow things? They can’t get me! Besides, Shinigami-san fights them too.” Yoshi protested, a slightly indignant look on his face. I mean really! Though he didn’t see them too often, when he did and when they attacked, he could often kill them with a punch or two, although he didn’t hold back like he did when sparring. However, adults were saying things like that too and whenever Yoshi told them that, they always either laughed or gave him a funny look. Faux-chan was different though, after all she was a kid too!

"Nothing, they are nothing." She lied hastily to disperse that subject. Though it did seem to spark some interest for the boy, she had no interest ind ragging him with her. His expression was so kind and gentle. The world she was heading for had not a place for him. It'd be better for him to live peacefully in bliss with his home and amongst those who love and care for him.
What was he talking about, demon hollow things. Shinigami-san? He fights them too? Was he implying that he also fought Hollows, whatever they were. As well, Shinigami was quite an arrogant name for someone to call themselves. Everyone knew what a Shinigami was so calling yourself it sparingly was no small task. He had to be a very confident swordsman to label himself as a Death God. "Of course they can't..."
She was reading to much into what he was saying. Shinigami-san could very well be a character on some game. Perhaps he had dreamed of it, fighting demons in your sleep could cause a child to mumble uncontrollably. But would it be right to completely let it go if what he thought actually turned out to be important. She turned towards Yoshi with slender eyes, scanning him completely as if to search for a sign that he was lying. "These Hollows that Shinigami fights...what do they look like?" She inquired with a fixated gaze. Her eyes never motioned away from Yoshi for a moment, and her intent was prominent by her facial expression. It was best to know now rather than contemplate a lost lead later.
It was strange that she wanted to keep him away from what she thought was the truth, yet with each passing second he seemed to draw her nearer and nearer to it. Perhaps he was not just a kid, maybe something much more.

“Only Human” -----------------------------------------------------------
“Uhm… if you say so Faux-chan.” Yoshi replied to Faux-chan’s obvious lie, but he didn’t want to be rude and call her out on it. It was common courtesy to not keep pressing someone if they had a secret they wanted to keep, besides Yoshi was sure Faux-chan would tell him if it was important! Faux-chan was a nice, caring person, right? Of course she was, she said ‘thank you’! Maybe she would still let him go with her on her quest though! To find the kitsu… Kitsu? That didn’t sound too right. Maybe she meant kitsune? Like a fox?
Like any kid, Yoshi was tempted to ask if she meant to say ‘kitsune’ but she wanted to keep it a secret so he managed to restrain himself. And besides, maybe Faux-chan meant ‘kitsu’ too. Hey, didn’t he have that dream about those fox things and the white masks? He couldn’t really recall it directly, the dream was starting to fade away, but it seemed like that. His eyes glazed over a bit as he began to try recalling his dream… but it was no good, it just didn’t want to come back to him.
And then when he gave up he finally noticed Faux-chan’s fixated gaze on him. Her eyes scanned around him and then centered on him, the intensity of it was also enough to make Yoshi kind of uncomfortable too. Adults often had that look on them whenever they were interrogating him, like whether he broke the vase, ate the cookie, went into their room, etc… This was kind of different though, wasn’t it? After all Faux-chan was a kid, she would understand how he felt, right? Of course, kids understood other kids, but adults hardly did.
”The… Hollows that Shinigami-san fight?” Yoshi repeated after her and thought hard, trying to describe them, they looked alike yet at the same time they didn’t! It was like trying to describe a human! Same basic shape but some were bigger, some smaller, some had wings, some had fins, and so on. So Yoshi decided it would be best if he described it in a very, very detailed speech. Clearing his throat first, Yoshi got back up and stood on the sturdy coffee table, though it probably was dangerous. As Faux-chan’s gaze followed him, he spread his arms out over his head in a “V” shape.
”Well, Hollows are really big! They have this white mask with teeth but the mask always looks different and stuff! And then they have two mouths, one inside the other! They don’t wear any clothes either but some of them have fur, the ones that don’t have fur have dark-ish bodies and some of them have wings and stuff! Also they try to eat me and other people but Shinigami-san usually saves them! Sometimes they do eat a person here or there though because they’re big, mean, Hollows! I think Shinigami-san said it’s because they’re always hungry, but I think they should just go eat at McDonalds or somewhere like that instead!” Yoshi explained almost all in one or two breaths as he pantomimed Hollows with his two hands. First, to describe their size, he stood up on tip-toes on the glass surface and spread his arms to their limit trying to give a good idea of how big they were. He had a hard time describing a mask or how they were naked, well without removing his clothing but that you weren’t supposed to do that when a girl was around, and then flapped his hands to describe the wings. Picking up imaginary people, Yoshi pretended to eat them and finished his explanation, taking a deep breath afterwards.
Finished, he then jumped off the glass coffee table and looked at Faux-chan, a slightly inquisitive look in his eyes. He wasn’t sure if she was trying to test him or not, if she hadn’t ever seen one before, or if she was just being curious. However, it was as if she was more interested in Yoshi now than she was beforehand, especially with that look on her face.

The black demons...were hollows. She watched him, but her attention was elsewhere. The way he described these hollows was exactly as she saw them. Black of body in assorted sizes. Masks white as bone with teeth etched into them. One mouth within the other, both evident when they screeched their horrible howl. The story of them eating people was probably true as well, they did try to eat her after all. Not only that, but this boy could see them and there was a Shinigami that fought them.
She remained silent for a time, another awkward silence creeping over the room as she stared at the boy. She had solved the mystery of the black demons, but now there were two others. Why could this boy see them, and why he wasn't afraid. The other dealt with the existence of a man who fought them frequently. Was he a normal man, or was his name truly a title. A shinigami by right and job. Her teeth clenched as she simultaneously shifted her gaze from Yoshi. Having just noticed she was still looking at him. Not to mention the dumb look on his face was making her uncomfortable to begin with. Eyebrows tensed downward in frustration in what she knew she had to do. The mystery of this boy was not half as interesting as the mystery of the Shinigami, nor the 'Hollows'. She'd have to bring him with her if she wanted any chance to find this Shinigami.
"Could you..." her voice broke the silence, but her eyes had yet to rest back upon Yoshi. She still wasn't entirely convinced that she should ask him to perform such a task. He could get hurt, which wouldn't hold well on her conscience. or worst still he could wind up dead. An act that would devastate her completely. The thought of it made the contortion of her face severely worse. The tensity in which she tried to divert her gaze began to turn her face a slight reddish color. She despised the words she had to say...wanted to say. It was like venom eating away at her insides to drag such a small child into her own business.
Then a thought ran through her mind and her frustrated look subsided to a somewhat cold one. A thought that not even a small child could overpower. He had been near these demons enough, apparently he was close with this Shinigami man for him to reveal his name, or occupation rather. Though these were not the thoughts that changed her small and fragile mind. Her next sentence felt completely new rather than a continuance of her previously stated one. Her sharp gaze shifted to him once more, much like the one she gave him when he popped up next to her around the destroyed bridge. She had no intent on attacking, for that was stupid, but her eyes could tell different. Though it's effect would probably be lessened due to her stature. "Take me to him."
The thought that drove this was of the other ninja who would be setting out today, and the day after and the day after that. All males who would prove themselves soon by taking on some vigilantes. Sneaking around and thwarting foes from the shadows. Ninjas, was that what they were. No, by far these demons and creatures that dwell within the shadows were truly shinobi. They stand in plain sight for all to see, but are never noticed. Would it not be a ninja to prove that they amongst all prevailed from the shadows. All of these hidden beings, were her enemies. She'd use any means to get there, besides she only wanted an escort. Then she could be done with him.
Her gaze fixated sharper, thinking back on what she had just spoken. She realized it was cold, so several seconds after she added one final word that would hopefully ease any uncomfortableness. "Please"

Huh? Faux-chan sure was beginning to act strangely. Ever since he had finished his description, it looked as if Faux-chan went off deep into thought thinking about something. As the uncomfortable silence crept back in again, it annoyed Yoshi how much this happened and he wanted to say something, anything, to get the conversation back, even though Faux-chan was staring right at him, she still looked zoned out and wasn’t saying anything anyways. Yoshi shifted uncomfortably as he opened his mouth, as if about to say something, when he closed it again, not sure what to say, really.
Then Faux-chan stopped staring directly at him and she then began to talk. Weird, she usually looked right at him in the eyes when she did, not look off somewhere else like she was doing now, Faux-chan sure seemed to be taking her time with whatever she was going to say, could he what? “Could I what?” Yoshi inquired finally, a bit softly, unsure if Faux-chan had heard him, it didn’t seem to matter anyways as her expression began to morph from a frustrated one to a cold, somewhat frightening one.
It was kind of like the one Faux-chan had when they first met on the bridge when her hand went to her katana sword. That uncomfortable feeling filled Yoshi once again and he was afraid that he might actually have to defend himself from Faux-chan, that would be horrible! Yoshi’s face scrunched up a bit at that unpleasant thought as she then uttered her next words in a demanding tone, the way she appeared to tower over him at that point was frightening, Yoshi was afraid what would happen if he told her that though he had seen Shinigami-san before, it was on the same rate a senior would see their freshman year teachers.
Then, Faux-chan’s gaze went inward and then it looked like she melted, if not melted then thawed a bit, and said ’Please,’. Still, Yoshi was still uneasy, unsure how he should tell her that Shinigami-san was a close acquaintance yes, but he always seemed as if he was moving around and showed up wherever Hollows were found… Hey, that could work! ”Uhm… Sorry, Faux-chan but I only really see him when Hollows are around.” Yoshi apologized, somewhat sheepishly, as his eyes stared down at his feet as his put his hands behind his back. He raised his right foot onto its tiptoes and began to rotate it slightly, awaiting Faux-chan’s response and hoping it wouldn’t be too bad. Although Yoshi liked her, she was getting kind of weird too!

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Shut down again, seems the lead with Shinigami shut down there. She'd have to find a way to lure him out...maybe if they could find more hollows. Perhaps if they could attract more hollows it would be easier for Shinigami-san to show up. So that would be it, the perfect plan to draw out this Shinigami would be to draw out the Hollows. But, she didn't know very much about Hollows other than how they looked. Their ambitions and reasoning was beyond her mental capacity. She rose her right hand to her chin and cupped it between her index and thumb. Pulling on it slightly as she dove into thought. Even if her thought consisted of nothing more than an assortment of ramblings on things that would never occur.
Yet, no matter how many times she thought things over in her head it all came back to this child. he knew more than her. She couldn't get around the fact that for her own personal gain she would have to exploit the kindness of this boy. But if he were to get hurt, could she handle such a burden. If she were hurt in a fight as she had been before, would he try and protect her. Was his life and future dependent on such a whim as to become stronger. In her mind everything pointed to one solution, yes. The black demons wouldn't catch her off guard again, so she was certain that she could protect him if needed.
"Do you know where to find hollows? Or...is there a way to draw them out?" Her face remained serious throughout her questioning. Though it had softened considerably after his response. Her expression tended to do that when she made a resolve, only to watch it fall apart before her. Her right hand moved from her chin to her left shoulder and she pressed down, checking it once more. No, it was not ready for a fight yet. But perhaps if she was lucky, Shinigami-San would show up to protect them. Then her journey can begin anew, and Yoshi could return to his innocent life.

Sasaki “Yoshi” Yoshiro
“Only Human” -----------------------------------------------------------
Although her actual expression didn't change very much, a slight disappointment seemed to have settled in Faux-chan as she began to start thinking again. Faux-chan sure was thinking a lot right now wasn't she? Yoshi looked at her curiously when she began again this time, wondering if she had some sort of super plan or idea in her head that was coming into fruition. Well who knew? Faux-chan did, of course. After a few more moments, the tension had eased a bit and Yoshi was feeling more comfortable than he had been moments ago, Faux-chan reopened her mouth to ask her question regarding the Hollows.
Faux-chan wanted to find Hollows and Shinigami-san? Maybe the way they dressed did represent something, or maybe Faux-chan was Shinigami-san's daughter! Nahh, couldn't be, too ridiculous. After all, then she wouldn't need him to find Shinigami-san, would she? But... how to find Hollows? That was something Yoshi hadn't actually tried too much... When was the first time he saw a Hollow... at the Park. Maybe they could find one there? Maybe if he could recall what Shinigami-san said about the Hollows during his lectures, Yoshi could tell Faux-chan!
Now it was his turn to go deep into thinking, his right hand cupping his chin between his index finger and thumb, subconsciously copying Faux-chan's movements, and began searching his memories, his eyebrows scrunched as he was deep in thought... Aha! As it hit him, his whole, serious concentrated face melted away back to its normal, cheerful self. Now he could help Faux-chan out too! Yoshi just hoped he remembered it correctly, or else it would be bad.
"Uhm, well the first one I saw was at the Park, but I think Shinigami-san said something about having high 'rei-at-su' and spiritual awareness." Yoshi began, his hand still on his chin as he tried to recall it verbatim, though that was unlikely to happen. Still, he could try right? Then they could go to the Park too! Shinigami-san said that Yoshi had high 'rei-at-su' but it usually appeared to be suppressed, whatever that meant.

"The park..." The park was one of the perfect places for others to meet. Those demons did like to pray on children, and if there were any children with potential they'd probably give off some sort of aura. At least to the beasts, as far as she was concerned they were all the same. Though Yoshi saw one at the park, who was the beast after. Was it after him? Chances as they were both her and Yoshi had at least encountered these beasts, traveling with him would increase the chances of encountering them once more. After all, two heads were better than one. Okay that didn't really fit for this situation but if you warp the ideal slightly it basically means the same thing.
"Wanna go?" Her expression completely altered, the seriousness wiped from her face in an instance. Being replaced by a slight smile and bright eyes. Giving up their slender shape to show their fullness. Glistening as the caught whatever light bounced about the room. She was getting excited about following another lead. One of those childlike qualities you just can't get over. After searching for something so long, the hope that you may actually find it is almost overwhelming. So much to the point that she could barely contain it within her person. The result of course was happiness on her part, but she wouldn't wait for a response from Yoshi. Mostly because she was sure he would come.
She turned abruptly as her hair flowed with her, settling upon her shoulder as she found the door. Easily identifiable by the small splotches of blood that lead away from it. She went at a hurried pace, but not a run, towards the door and opened it. Looking back to Yoshi with an even bigger smile on her face. "Come on!" She shouted, the echo vibrated in the halls loudly. Her face went shocked, hopefully no one heard that. A far fetched hope in her mind, but hope wasn't so bad.
