... So, my posting in this guild has been pretty much nil.

I've been dealing with a lot of things outside the Gaia world, at the moment. Right now the largest issues of these would be my continuing hunt for work (I briefly had work as a stage manager for a small-scale professional theater show, but that production ended and I'm jobless again), and the hunt for a new place to live in, as my roommate is moving across the country for grad school on July 31st.

... And I've already been realizing that Gaia has, oddly, been taking away my time that I feel should be spent on my manuscript.

Taking all of this into consideration while waiting for the status on a contest I'm participating in, I decided if I didn't get word from the creator of the contest I'm in about a deadline extension a month after I last asked (because it's well past the original deadline and nothing has been said), I would go into full hiatus mode.

... That day, a month after I last asked about a deadline extension, is today.

As a note to anyone who might be curious, this contest is NOT 24ko's writing contest. It's a contest in a different guild, entirely.

Anyway, as my own personal Gaia-deadline has been reached, it's official: I'm on hiatus. I haven't done much posting on here, but now I can guarantee there will be practically none until the day I lift my hiatus. What this means for my membership in this guild, I can't be sure. But I'm just letting anyone on here know what's going on, because out of all the guilds I'm in, this is the only one that actually caters to any of my career interests.

If anyone here is interested in keeping an eye on me and my writing work, I advise checking out my Brenli's Scribbles and Scripture thread in the Personal Files forum of this guild. It has links to the other websites where I have posted work or are planning on posting work.

So I guess this is goodbye for now, lovelies~!
