the technolgy needed would be

* a synthensizer for the voice as it talks
* useing face recognition tec and 3d pokemon models so the scanner can know a pokemon when seen
*lots of memory *at least an modern ipods worth*

hardware.
*memory storage,
*somthing like a camera to act as an eye
*a screen
*speaker
*a light and dome cover
*custom plastic caseing

well i noticed today the tec it takes to make a REAL pokedex exist already does.

what do you guys think would you buy it even as a toy....XD

Actualy. you could be able to use it for information on the go instead of needing to use Serebii...

well in theory anytime it shows a picture of a pokemon
*picture stuffed animal ETC*

it could pull up there information...

now im sure theres more Practical things things one could make this for.

like a flowerDex food dex or somthing....

but still i think itd be really cool to make one

oh yes if you seen the earlyer pokemon episodes you need to beable to put your date name and let it learn your name and put in your photo id >.> alittle advanced dont ya think?

well for the pokemon centers across the world would cost TRILLIONS or more in vunding with the teleporting pc yea.....lot of debit...

were 700 years from the gene spliceing needed to make pokemon
