Apparently the Maya weren't the only 2012 predictors. The native American Hopi tribe has legend, prophecy, and predictions for 2012 all of their own.

For someone like me, it's the same thing being said from another group of people, nothing but token evidence really.

But for all of you who don't keep up, this is news for you.

The idea of the Blue Star taking physical form and coming down and dancing with us is an interesting twist though...Lol.

I was doing some research about 2012 a few weeks back. And suposibly to some historian who had dedicated his life to find reasearch about the mayans. He said in this text that he found some source that the maya calaned didn't finish at 2012 but kept going on... If i can find the website were i found the infromation i will post it for you.

There's a javanese believe that a day of elimination will comes. It tells that human are being tested by a long time suffer or big disaster (i don't know the detail). The good-lived people will survive, and the empty people will eliminated. I don't know what exactly the meaning of "good-lived", but I think it means the people who live on right way. It looks like dooms day, but I think it's really not. Some peoples of mine said it's related to 2012 issues, but until now no one can prove it. So we're waiting what happen in 2012.

I think thats getting into religion now... Because it probably by 'good-lived' means they haven't commited a sin and the empty are the ones who sin... Dooms day is a lot of theroys but i've never heard that theroy before... I never thought it went that deep...

It's not related to sin. It's more likely persons with certain knowledge will survive because they know the way to solve their problem, and persons who haven't this knowledge will stuck by themselves because they don't know how to fix their problem. Javanese belief isn't a religion, it's universal knowledge of life.
