Physical Description:
Firenze is short and skinny in stature, without much muscle, reaching only 5’3”. Rather than donning the usual black kimono seen on shinigami, she likes to dresses somewhat traditionally. She decorates herself with fresh pink sakura blossoms pinned in her hair, and a low-cut, kimono. Wrapped around her neck is a silky black scarf, and her arms are covered with thick black gloves. Her waist is tightly bound by a large green sash decorated in golden flower imprints, right beneath her chest. Her long and wide-bladed katana is tied horizontally to her back.
Personality: Firenze is generally a very fun-loving person and smiles all the time. She likes to take care of others and make others happy even if it costs herself something. She is not too fond of fighting, but when necessary, she is not afraid to do so. She is very respectful to her authorities, maybe even too formal with them, but that was how she was brought up.
Zanpakutou: The name of her Zanpaktou is Florentia (“flourishing”), named after the famous city in Italy, especially during the Renaissance, the era in which Firenze lived. She calls her “Flora” for short.
Zanpakutou Spirit:
Her Zanpaktou spirit is a flaming phoenix. Although it can look intimidating at times with its huge size and sharp talons, Florentia is a very kindhearted creature, who acts like a guardian to Firenze. She somewhat likes to talk a lot, so they tend to have many telepathic conversations with each other.
Inner World:
Florentia’s world is simply a deserted island in the middle of nowhere, surrounded on all sides by a seemingly endless, but majestic, turquoise ocean. Although it the water is shallow around the land, it becomes increasingly deeper as you go farther on. The sky here is forever light blue with soft wisps of white clouds. The land spans a diameter of a less than a mile, with a dense forest of trees located in the center.
Sealed Form:
In its sealed form, her Zanpaktou is a normal-looking katana crafted in a very Japanese style. The hilt is decorated with intricate red designs of unknown symbols. The guard is made of gold, in the shape of a rounded rectangle. The sheath of her katana is also decorated with red and gold, as seen in the picture above. She carries her katana horizontally tied to her back.

Bankai Description:
When her Bankai is released, her Zanpaktou disappears, but its spirit – the fire phoenix – appears behind her in a large burst of flames, and it becomes essentially her weapon.

Safeguard
Since Firenze is somewhat vulnerable in her Bankai, Florentia is able to defend her from simple and medium-level attacks coming from opponents by blocking her with any part of its body. (things such as cero, weapons, or below shikai-level attacks)
Crimson Barrier
If not, Firenze is also able to manipulate her crimson-colored reiatsu to form an effective barrier around herself.
Offensive Moves
Flame Thrower
Florentia simply spurts out large currents of flames.
Fire Orbs
She can fire, up to ten at a time, rounded orbs of fire at the opponent. When they make contact with a surface, they will explode into a large burst of flames.
Ring of Fire
Florentia encircles the area by flying around, lighting up a barrier made of reiatsu and flames mixed together that reaches twenty feet up into the air.
Heat Waves
Because her wings cover such a huge span, when she flaps them both forward at the same time, an overwhelming torrent of wind is emitted from her body outwards toward the opponent, with enough force to push him/her back at least twenty yards.
This technique is called “heat waves” because this wind is filled with a crushing amount of heat that makes it hard to breathe or move around in.
The Phoenix Dance
As the phoenix twirls her massive wings, she can release huge waves of fire that are shaped like crescents.
Final Release
Florentia spreads out her wings and in a huge burst of fire, her body bursts into many minuscule pieces that are able to be directed at opponents in a shower of flaming particles, which also act like mini-bombs since they can explode when they make contact with any hard surface at enough of a force.
When all these particles, or at least many of them, are fired at once, they can cause a huge explosion to take place in an area.
Special Accessories:
Firenze wears a hollow, crescent pendant around her neck filled with a bright red aura, which serves like a gauge that estimates her reiatsu level. When it is almost full or at max, she is able to release a great amount of reiatsu for someone like her, which she is able to use to boost her speed and/or strength for a limited amount of time (3 rp posts). This gauge takes several days to fill up, but it generally is able to fill up quicker during active fights. Once it reaches a certain point, it cannot go any lower unless she uses it up in the form of reiatsu.
Skills: As described in the biography, when she was a human, Firenze was a renowned runner, and her name always topped the charts. She carried this trait over her death and has become an exceptional “speed fighter.” (cannot use shunpo yet though)
Abilities: None, besides that she can manipulate her reiatsu to serve as boosts to either her speed or strength (or both) and as a shield as well (compressed reiatsu).

Biography/History:
Firenze was born in Japan. Her mother was Japanese; her father was Italian, though she never met him since they divorced before she was born. As a young kid, she was a very happy girl, looking forward to a bright future. She did very well in school and grew up to be a very talented young girl. Whether it was playing a musical instrument or playing soccer, she could do it all. However, the thing she was most known for was her ability to outrun everyone. She was nicknamed “Chi-itaa” (Cheetah) by her friends at school.
Firenze died at the age of thirteen during a strange accident that instantly took her life. She was sitting in the passenger seat with her mother in their car when it suddenly exploded on the side of the road after he pulled over to check on the car. An examination was made on the state of the car, but all the evidence stated that nothing was amiss. Their deaths were caused by the intentions of some unknown person. It was, in reality, her dead father, who submitted to the power of the Hollows.
After her death, Firenze was swiftly allowed to leave the world, and she became one of the millions of souls that wandered in the districts of Soul Society. She lived in one of the “slums” there, where the children lived on stealing from others. She became one of the infamous thieves, since her agility allowed her to take much more than the other kids could. One day she bumped into a man dressed in black as she was rounding a corner, escaping from the grasps of a group of angry adults. He wouldn’t let her pass.
She entered the realm of the shinigami and started off at the academy, scared and nervous of what this training would bring about. She missed her old life in the districts. But over a couple of years, she graduated and entered the ninth division, where she resides now.
