Each guild has its own personality made up by the people in it. This is a vending guild that does not focus on ripping people off. It here to help people gain the items they want, and in turn train others to do the same.

I kinda assumed it was elitist.

Actually, I'm getting some pretty good advice in here.
And it seems friendly.
I like it here and i've only been a member for like, half a day.

Nice succinct answer.
This guild was created in '06 because I had a problem with them creating a "mature" subform. I keep that stuff out of this guild and I try to encourage those here to learn and to teach others.

As others have said, there's more than one vending guild out there. Many of us are members of more than one because they all have different personalities and focus.
And because as much as some folks would like not to believe it, there really are multiple ways to make gold vending and hoarding. There is no one right way.

And I have to agree that the guilds are EXTREMELY different. The people that run it and the members make up what a guild really is.
