Koichi:On a rocky cliff overlooking the churning sea below, a young man yawned, moving his hat away from his golden eyes so that he could gaze up at the sky. Unfortunately, the just happened to be in the way and momentarily blinded him, causing him to roll around the ground groaning. Preening her feathers on a nearby tree, a beautiful gray bird paused in her grooming to make a movement akin to a sigh as she watched the silliness of her master. Once the bout was over, the man rubbed his eyes once and shifted his attention to the direction of the wind.
"Just a few miles more to the Lake Capital, Taka. After that, we won't really be seeing much of the ocean," he took a breath, taking in the salty air. Grabbing a clothed bundle contained a tall, yet thin, object, and a small rucksack, Koichi, with Taka following by air, traversed haphazardly down the cliff side, jumping down from rock to rock until he landed softly onto the sandy shore. "Who knows, maybe we'll be able to find a wanted sign before then and get on with our first mission. Of course, then we'll have to continue to the city so I can deliver the customer's package."
Placing his stuff down for a moment, he patted away some sand from his worn, white gloves. Choosing to peel away a curling bandage from his neck to reveal a nearly healed patch of skin, he tossed away the used item and picked up his belongings before proceeding into a forested several yards away from the water. In moments, he was gone, following a small stream and leaving behind only faint footprints and broken dead foliage.
