Many people write for different reasons. Some write for fame, others to get a message out. So what do you write for? To be completely honest I am not much of a writer as much you already know. But I when I do write I write for two reasons. One is because I truly love this art form. It is out on the streets, not done for money, and people risk a lot to share their art. The other reason is to send a message. For instance I hate how modern media wants to make everything this massive event instead of just doing their job and letting us know what is going on around us. Now it may not be much I want to start with the Mass Media Monsters. While I am horrible I would like to see if anyone else can make this better or to see what they want to fight against. So tell me. Why do you write? question

I write because I like to see color, I use tons of color and it improves a train or blank overpass so much.

The main reason why I write is because as you a message to the public, I want people to understand what I am doing and somehow they will realize it and do it too.
Also because, to make this dirty place clean, by decorating art on walls.
this reason might change.... xd

I used to do slaps to get a message across. Now the only message I get across is "check this out isn't it cute." I cover my town because I want to be a bad example for all those kids out there, and hopefully get the scene to come to life here. I would love to be just as much an observer as I am a participant. I stick because it gets me all excited at the time, and makes me proud when I walk past my little characters the next day. I stick because this place would be dull without a little spontaneity on the streets.

Damon Zane That it has been but hey, everyone has to start somewhere. Yeah, even I started out using it. The fact is, it's difficult to come up with anything original. My set of characters, even though I have been developing them bit by bit over the years, are totally generic to the street art scene. Jonathonn Yep. But I'll still use it. It sends a firm, direct message. That it does. 3nodding And that's why we don't stop using cliches, because they send clear direct messages. =)
