“Are we seriously not being assigned any youma?” grumbled Lieutenant Groddeckite, her wide, flat nose wrinkling in dissatisfaction and disgust, “Not that we need any…” She would just prefer to use them, but she didn't mind allowing Kremersite to do all the dirty work. She just didn’t want to be there in general, especially not at night when she couldn’t see horrible, nasty, disease ridden garbage she was stepping on. “Ugh… People are so gross… I hate cities. Let’s just do this quickly and get back…” She would definitely need to take a nice, long bath after this.

Grodd matched her appointed companion in height, and her thin arms and dainty hands made it obvious that she has never willingly ‘worked out’ a day in her life. The thought of gyms and all the germs they carried made her nauseous. Any thought of germs made her nauseous, actually… Sure, she realized the importance of collecting starseeds, but she didn't have to like the process — it wasn't the killing that bothered her... it was the whole... touching things that haven't been sterilized.

For good measure, she lifted the small bottle of hand sanitizer she carried as a weapon, squirting some of the cool liquid into her free hand, before holding it out a little, clearly offering some to Kremersite. She supposed she could have ended up with someone worse… even though he was a freak…

“That… thing… has been disinfected, right…?” she nodded to his jack-o-lantern, her nose still wrinkled, lips now pursing together in suspicion.

"Uhm, yeah. Seriously. We're not being assigned any youma," something told him that it had to do with the fact that both of them had lost a youma in previous battles. The queen did not appreciate the idea of losing youma needlessly, besides, it'd apparently been determined he worked just a touch better with others than previously expected (The irony), so thus, he'd been assigned to patrolling with a fellow agent, "Don't sweat it. We'll just take it slowly - find a target, exterminate it and go back home," technically, in his case, he was going to go back to the damned hospital.

He was currently very much in a love-hate relationship with the place. His eyes traveled to regard the girl walking by his side, arching a brow at her as she spoke; in all honesty, he didn't get her. But then, he rarely 'got' people, "Why would you live in a city if you hate it so much?" hell, the real question was more along the lines of what the ******** was she doing out, working for the negaverse if she could barely walk three feet without shuddering at some microscopic particle of dust or grime. Kremersite was pretty much sure that half of the time, the girl was imagining that there was filth or germs on her, because as far as he could see... she was rather clean.

They had a name for people like her, but it currently eluded him. Alas, he was clearly happy enough to go along with what she wanted, because when she offered the sanitizer, he held out his tright hand to let her squirt some, "Uuuuuhm..." his gaze landed on the jack-o-lantern he was holding against his size before he made a face, "I... if it makes you feel better to think so, then yeah. It totally has," he didn't really think that the weapon he bashed into people's guts or against people's faces was very sanitized however.

They should have probably been on the look out for someone to hunt, as according to plan. Or at the very least, they should've been listening to their surroundings for some tell tale sound that there was someone there. Apparently, Kremersite wasn't at the top of his game that night though.

Grodd let out an annoyed snort at her companion’s response about not being allocated youma, though it was fairly apparent they wouldn’t be receiving any further assistance by that point. Regardless of her abhorrence for being out and about in the filth and grime, she was perfectly capable of doing her job... so long as she didn’t have to do more than stand and give orders. “Good…” the Lieutenant grumbled, taking the sanitizer she’d squirted into her hand to rub against her other hand, as well as up and down her arms, and even the part of her neck that wasn’t covered by her high collar.

She shot a frustrated glare at Kremer for his inquiry of her living in the city, then lifted her nose high in a show of pride, before letting out a tiny, panicked squeak as she walked through a swarm of gnats. “Yuck!! See?? There’s probably something dead and rotting nearby and we’re all going to contract horrible diseases!!” Groddeckite whined, though being sure to keep her discontent as quiet as possible, not wanting to alert anyone of their whereabouts. She squirted a generous amount of sanitizer into her hand, before applying the liquid to her face and arms again. “The city has the best health stores, okay?? If I lived anywhere else, it would be too much of a hassle! Besides, I kinda need to be here for this.” It was, after all, easier for the Negaverse to get up with her for assignments if she lived in close proximity to other agents.

Kremersite received another suspicious grimace upon his delayed answer on whether or not his pumpkin has been properly disinfected or not. She’d touched fresh pumpkin insides once when she was much younger… needless to say; she hasn’t been near a pumpkin, since. “Ew…” was her only comment on the subject, her nose wrinkling again as she gave his weapon a look over.

She had to admit… she’d been expecting Kremersite to be someone much more impossible to work with, what with the stories she’d heard about him. Surprisingly enough, he hadn’t done anything to really get on her nerves; he’d indulged her by accepting her hand cleanser; he’d even put up with her problems as graciously as anyone could — Grodd knew she wasn’t the easiest person to deal with…

“It kills me to see the Queen so disheartened…” she offered quickly and quietly, more to herself than to her assigned partner, but loud enough for him to hear, either way. Groddeckite let out a little sigh, glancing away from Kremer as they walked, as though she was merely looking around for someone to target, before continuing, “She… saved me during an impossibly rough time in my life… it’s the least I can do to stay nearby…” Not that she expected him to care… but he wanted to know why she still lived in the city, despite her issues.
