Moon Light

I was just looking up at the stars tonight and I was wondering, how many of you do most of your spells/rituals/etct at night? I have heard that it is a popular time to do those kinds of things but I want to know from actual people, and not just statistics. So do you practice at night. How come? Do you think it is more powerful, just safer, or something completely different. I await your answers.

I do most of my rituals during the day, at night I do most of my praying and meditating. The daytime is when my Mom is out so I am undisturbed, at night I look to the stars and moon as extensions from the divine realm.

Eh, the only rituals I do explicitly at night are those honoring Full Moon. Otherwise it mostly depends on the season (which impacts how many daylight-nighttime hours we have), my schedule (we can't do an elaborate ritual during the day if we're working a 9-to-5), and my mood. I suppose I also usually tend to do dark-half Solar Cycle celebrations in the evening or at night for symbolic reasons. But yeah. I'm practical, firstly.

I do almost all my rituals at night, as long as the moon's out, otherwise I can't see anything. My area is not the most well lit. I do it at night because I know the chances of me being disturbed are a lot smaller. Also, I just like the moon. I just seem to feel safer, the larger the moon is.

I do what little I do when ever it needs to be done. Though on halloween I always cast a circle and do a tarrot reading at night because, well, it's halloween and night is when such things ought to be done.

I generally do it during the day. I think that's because I'm generally more alert and able to focus on what I'm doing.

I tend to do my rituals at night... But I also wait until the moon is getting full or is full before I do anything, since I was told a full moon has more power

I myself used to do them at night because I felt safer. I felt like the night was my cloak, shielding me from outsiders who would watch me. I was always afraid that my family would find out, and that I was going to have another long moment of silence like when I came out of the closet. So I would hide. Now I feel more comfortable, and do most of my stuff during the day. I prefer the day for most things because I am awake, but aside from that I do not mind when I do a spell or ritual. When ever is convenient for me I suppose?

I usualy do my rituals, and workings at night be cuase it makes me freel more comfortable. Pluss I can esaly sneak out into my back yard while I do them with out interuptions. Also in my room or my yard I love seeing the moon when I do my workings. I do my medditations during the day though, because it gives me time to relax, clear my mind, and colect my thoughs. Also I feel most comfortalbe medditating in my room, which I share with my sis. The last time I tryed to do a medditation in my room at night, she woke up and was staring at me, which brough me back to my serondings. And then I was forced to endure her questions about what I was doing, and how she thought it was stuppid, ect. So after ward I desided I was more stressed, and should do that during the day instead.
