After sitting in "Babylon" for a while, and when it became abundantly clear that the alarm clock was not going to ring if she just sat there waiting for it, Tallulah began to walk once more. Yes, she was Tallulah again, the strange dream magic that kept her Sailor Europa having finally released her from its grasp.

Without the Babylon candle it at least felt like slower going, but the road was straight and the air a comfortable room temperature and Tallulah never felt tired. And all roads lead somewhere, so she felt confident that she was going where she ought to be. It was lovely to be somewhere so straightforward, after all those puzzles with jam doorknobs and poison potions.

Now that she was certain that this was all a dream, she thought of it all in a rather distant manner - none of this was really of any consequence, if you died in a dream you didn't die in real life. It was just a matter of waiting to wake up, or willing yourself to wake up. However, as much as a lucid dreamer as Tallulah could be, she had never been exactly good at waking herself up, so she would have to depend on the former.

Tallulah paused in her tracks. She hadn't noticed the landscape changing, but changed it had. Standing here, she found herself in a charred relic of her neighborhood. Ash blew through the streets like snow in winter, and the sky overhead glowed red. The only thing that told her where she was was the streetsign, which told her if she went one way she would reach the park, and, eventually her house, or if she went the other she might find Pasha's home.

Not especially looking forward to what she might find if she went home, she elected to go the other way. She doubted she might find much of anything, but it was worth a try. Maybe there was someone else in this dream - she was pretty sure the people in the other one had really been there.

"Hello?" called Tallulah as she started down the street.

The young, vibrant teenager really had tried his best to stop crying. Pasha had actually managed to get it down to a few dry sobs every now and then, shaking hands rubbing ash and tears all over his freckled cheeks, but the hot tears started up quickly as soon as he gathered up the courage to leave the remains of his home.

God, everyone was gone. Whatever it was that had sent him off to the strange desert land with the awful bugs and furious sun and voracious djinni had killed them all, and he'd somehow made it back here just to wander it all alone. His footsteps made unsettlingly loud crunch crunch noises as he wandered towards the outskirts of town. If Destiny City was destroyed, his last hometown might have made it. It would be a few days' journey, but nothing was left here. There wasn't much of a reason to stay if he could find someone left in this world who loved him before everything went to ruins.

To any onlooker who knew their horror movies well enough, he might have looked like a zombie, ambling on without any real purpose. He even had the smudges and sooty filth that made him look the part. Unlike most animated corpses, however, he held a few items from his home - mostly melted plastic, scraps of fabric, things that were possibly pieces of clothing or other items of importance. One of Trinket's singed feather-toys was clipped in his hair like an Indian trophy. Tied around his neck was a blanket where Abel liked to sleep. It blew gently in the wind that carried someone's "hello".

"I'm here," he responded reflexively, voice hoarse.

He was a mess, which was why he headed directly towards the familiar voice. It sounded like Tallulah. And if she proved to not be some evil clone, he was going to need a tearful reunion hug.

The wind carried back a reply, and Tallulah spun around looking for the speaker. Finally, after a few frantic moments scanning the rubble, her eyes finally fell upon Pasha. He looked a bit worse for the wear, but it was certainly him. Her tired face broke into a grin and she ran towards him.

"Pasha!" she cried, wrapping him in a tight hug that almost knocked them both over. "Pasha, oh my god, Pasha." After clinging to him for almost a minute - any friendly face would have had the same effect, heck, she probably would have kissed Elzo - she let him go and regained her composure.

"I have been having such a bad dream," she said with a sigh. But then again he looked like he'd been having worse - there was soot smudged on his face. Tallulah reached out and tried to rub some of it off.

"It is all just a dream, I think," she added, biting her lower lip. Yes, all just a dream, just a very lucid one. From which you couldn't seem to wake up. "I was in this place with all these doors and hallways and potions that said drink me on them..." she sighed. In retrospect it was like she'd been in an Alice in Wonderland fanfic, but no time to dwell on that now.

They began to walk down the ruined street, apparently towards Tallulah's house. "Do you remember falling asleep?" she asked.
