NOTE: THIS IS NOT AN ANGEL/DEMON RP. Yes, they play a part in the story, but not in the typical way that they would in most RP's. Please read through the race information a few posts down for a description of the races before writing it off as cliche.

~The Uprising~
Thousands of years ago, long before the Earth or Man were created, there was only God and his angels. The angels were servants, forever faithful and inexperienced with free will.

All but one, that is. He was Lucifer, God's right-hand-angel. He spent every moment in the presence of God, heard all of the thoughts of the great creator. He began to believe that his place was above God, that he himself deserved to be the all-powerful, the all-wonderful. God did not banish him from Heaven for it, though. It was only much later, when Lucifer decided to try and steal the throne of God that he was sent away.

Hell, is what they say it is called, but we know better than that. The Angel Lucifer was granted his own planet, a place where he could rule over all of those who had fought alongside him in his attempt to dethrone the almighty. This planet is called Grek.

~A New Beginning~
Not long after Lucifer was banished, God became lonely. In his loneliness, he decided to fix the mistake he had made with the angels. The angels needed someone else to serve, something to keep them busy so as to prevent another revolt.

God chose a planet, one that he deemed would work best with the environment he chose to create in preparation for his new project.

On the first day, he created light. The form of the planet earth began to change. It was slowly, at first, the water flowing differently and starting to evaporate as the solid rock beneath it began to expand. Beneath the crust, lava built up, splitting the earth and pushing the rock up.

Living things were created, bodies in preparation for what he would do. They were a sort of practice for what was to come, but they all served a purpose. Creatures of the water were first, an entire world was built beneath the sea. Prototypes for his final piece were also made here, but they did not serve his purpose. Next were the birds, and creatures of the air, each with their own talents and weaknesses, each with their own personality. But still, they did not bring him joy.

And then the creatures of the land were made. All shapes and sizes of animals were created again, but still none of them suited his needs. The last he created, formed from the dirt of the earth, looked just like him. Fashioned after God himself, he had found what he was trying to create.

In order to make man expressly different and special in this world he had created for him, God gave him something that he hadn't given the others. He had given man a spirit, something that, up until then, only angels had. Angels, having no physical body, but being entirely of spirit. And so, man was made.

~Sin~
Adam, who was the first man, was lonely, and God made from Adam's rib a woman. Now, most humans don't realize this, but there was no gender before Eve. Angels and man were fashioned after God, and so there were no females until Eve was born.

Lucifer was given free reign of all planets, the only place he could not go was Heaven. He wanted to make mankind pay. He was, as many of the angels were, jealous of man for his physical form, and for the freedom he was given over the angels. Many of the other angels, those who were still faithful to God, became jealous as well. When Lucifer tempted Eve, and Eve convinced Adam to eat of the forbidden fruit, that was the last straw for those in Heaven. Not all of them, of course, but many of the angels were appalled that God could allow man to disobey him and still have his love.

~The Nephilim~
Satan, one of the angels who felt this way, came to God with some others, and begged him for the chance to prove that they could do better. That, if given physical bodies, they would not be so foolish as man was and disobey God's word.

So God gave them bodies, though they were much larger than man's and far more adaptable. The angels were overcome with their jealousy for Adam, and took to his wife. God had created her, just for man, and it was something they had never had before. The Nephilim, they were called, giants who walked this planet for centuries fornicating with the women of earth. In turn, the women had halfbreed children, whose spirits were tainted with Sin, which could never be in the presence of God.

Still, the half-breed were part human, and God was so blind to their tainted souls because of it. His love for the humans was shameless, and there was nothing the Nephilim could do to stop it. However, God saw that the humans would become extinct if things carried on like this, so the Nephilim were sent away to Grek. Their children were left to the Earth if they so chose, save for those who had gone with their fathers. Most of the children left to Grek with their fathers, knowing there was much to learn from them.

Besides, Earth was never our planet.

~Hostile Takeover~
One by one, the patience of centuries-old creatures has worn thinner and thinner. Now, the Grekken, Nephilim, and Demons are ready for war. They are tired of living in this Hell, Grek being a dead planet, and they are tired of being lower than the pathetic humans. It is time for a takeover.

Angels are helping the humans as much as they can, following the orders they are given and not interfering too much. However, the humans are really going to need their help on this one. Government officials are trying their best to hide the truth from the rest of the planet, while secretly a war wages on between the races. Some of the Grekken on Earth, who have lived there their entire lives, fight for the humans, as do some of the Demons.

Subhumans are jealous of man for his soul, and that they must live out their lives in hiding. Everyone has grown tired of man's arrogance, and his spoiled lifestyle, and they are ready to take it from him no matter how much blood must be spilled.

For whatever reasons, everyone has chosen their sides in this war, and Lucifer is ready to send in his first wave. Where will you be when the Age of Man ends?

READ THE OOC THREAD FOR BATTLE SYSTEM

1...Play nice. You guys know how to write, and what not to do. I don't want to waste my time making a huge "no duh" rules list, so just follow the rules of the guild and you'll be fine.

2...PM me profiles. I don't care if you post them in the thread for it as well, but PM them to me first. Don't post until it's accepted. I will accept all profiles, unless we are in need of certain races, or unless your profile goes against the guidelines for something.

3...Read all Story information before sending me a profile. I know it's a lot, but (unless you are a human) you are going to need to know it all. Besides, it's interesting. smile

4...Please be literate. Nobody is perfect, but if your character "talk liek dis and run sentences together and not splel tings rite a lot, den my character gonna tink he hab down syndrom and will make fun of him". So please, sentence. smile

5...Romance and violence are encouraged, as long as you are keeping it pg-13 gaiz.

6...Keep it realistic. Earth is the world you live in. You couldn't get away with walking around with a sword or machine gun strapped to your back here. You also can't get away with burning down buildings or anything like that without someone noticing and it being all over the news. This is the real world (for the most part) that we live in.

7...3 RPC's per person is the limit. Only have that many if you can keep up with that many, and make it clear who you are posting for. Also, they cannot all be of the same race.

8...A few guidelines...
a. Angels become Demons when they disobey God
b. Angels cannot go to Grek, Demons cannot go to Heaven, Humans cannot leave Earth, Nephilim cannot go to Heaven and they cannot stay on Earth for long, Grekkens cannot go to Heaven, Subhumans cannot leave Earth
c. Angels and Demons can possess any living thing EXCEPT for Nephilim or Grekkens
d. Humans have no special powers
e. Grekkens who have lived on Earth their whole lives will have adapted to their surroundings and look like humans; there are certain things they can only learn on Grek and they cannot get there without a demon or Nephilim
f. Astral forms can only be seen by Angels, Demons, Nephilim, and some Grekkens

~PLACES~

The Planet Earth
(Humans, Grekkens, Angels, Demons, and Subhumans can live here; Nephilim can visit for short time)

Earth is pretty much what you see it as now. For the sake of this RP, we're going to have it set in America in a city that doesn't actually exist, with surrounding areas that don't either. The main City will be called Westown. The area around this city is mainly suburbs and around those are wooded areas, farmland, and pretty much anything else your imagination can come up with. Get creative, I don't have any real strict outlines for what the world looks like, so we'll make it up as we go along. I may make a map for this at some point, just to make it easier, but we'll see how it goes.

As for the government, it is the way it has always been: Trying not to reveal the existence of the Nephilim or Grekkens or any other race but the humans. They don't fight against them, some of them are even working with them, but they do not publicly acknowledge the existence of such creatures.

The world, in short, knows nothing about anyone but the humans if they are human. All Grekkens have a cover form as a human in this world. All Nephilim are seen as gods, or anomalies. They will almost never be seen on Earth, and certainly not for long periods of time. Demons are sneaky, Angels don't interfere much, everything has their place to keep the people of the world as out of the loop as possible.


The Planet Grek

A desolate planet of rock and dry earth. There is no night on this planet, and the average temperature ranges between 150-200 degrees F. Humans have no way of being brought here unless by the Nephilim as food. Demons, Nephilim, and Grekkens live here. Angels can visit, but it's not recommended. The nature of life on this planet is hostile. People are constantly fighting, sometimes eating eachother when food runs out. There's no illness, but there can be starvation. There is no deserted area. The entire planet is inhabited, overpopulated, and hostile.

~Heaven~
(Only Angels can go here)

The stereotypical Heaven. Clouds everywhere, streets of Gold and Pearly Gates. Everything promised, Angels singing songs of Worship to a God with no true form. Get creative with this one, Angels. It's your home.

Races

Humans
Humans are God's perfect creation. They are you and me. They live the lives that we've lived: working, going to school, gardening, videogames and tv, whatever it is you people do in your lives. Humans have NO powers, unless they are not really humans and do not realize it (in which case you will HAVE to state that in your profile ahead of time). Most humans know nothing about the other races, and will remain blind. The ones who will mainly be aware of them are government workers, scientists, religious figures, and those who are/have been possessed by demons or angels.

Sub-Humans

Sub-Humans are prototypes. They were created before Man, but God didn't think they were good enough. There are NO female subhumans. They are all males, and none of them have spirits or any abilities save for instincts. (ex: Mermen, Cat-people, etc.)

Angels

God is their leader. Angels are only males. Composed of entirely spirit. They cannot take a physical form unless possessing a body. They also cannot return to Heaven until they are back in their spiritual form. Angels are messengers of God, and therefor the decided GOOD guys. They do not often interfere with things on Earth. They can go to Grek. They will NEVER sin in any way shape or form, be it acting out or in their minds. They will also never disobey God. Angels do have some powers, though their elemental strengths are in Air and Fire. They cannot control water or earth. Angels CANNOT possess Nephilim or Grekkens. They can, however, possess a body that a demon is already possessing if they can overpower it.

Demons

Lucifer is their leader. Demons are only males. Demons are Angels, only they do not obey God. They are basically fallen angels, and follow all of the same rules. They are free to go between Earth and Grek, but cannot go back to Heaven ever again. Not all demons are bad, but none of them will ever be perfect. Some loathe the humans, while others want to help them. Demons can possess bodies, and if they do not they will have no physical form. They can only be seen or heard by humans when in a body. They can stay in those bodies for as long as they like, however they cannot return to Grek with a human body. Demons CANNOT possess Nephilim or Grekkens. They can possess a body that an angel is already possessing if they can overpower it.

Nephilim

Satan is their leader. The Nephilim are all males. They will generally stand about 10-15 feet. They are timeless, but they CAN be killed. They generally have the strength and defense of ten men, and some have powers. In the case of element control, they can only control fire and air. The Nephilim cannot leave their bodies. They can leave Grek for a time to go to Earth and get food, but if they are on Earth for too long they may freeze from the lack of heat as God's way to keep them from staying. Some Nephilim will come back only to fornicate with women and to bring their children back to Grek when they are old enough to be useful.

Grekkens

Grekkens can be Male or Female. They cannot reproduce with anything but Nephilim or Grekkens.

There are some Grekkens, children of the Nephilim and human women, who do not know that they are not human. These people look like humans, and have no developed powers at all. They can later develop powers, but until they go to Grek cannot fully be like the others of their race.

Grekkens are highly adaptable, and known to be shapeshifters. They have the ability to seperate their spirits from their bodies, and some of the older ones have learned how to possess other creatures. This skill can only be learned from demons. Most have the ability to see different heat signatures, and those from the planet Grek become weak in the cold.

Their natural form was once that of a human, but their real skin has become hardened by the sun and atmosphere of their planet (obviously, those who have been staying on earth will have their natural form as a human). Their true form now has become more lizard-like than anything. They have immense strength and defense from the harsh atmosphere and living conditions and from their fathers. They can have powers, and in the case of elemental control can control any element.

Whatever kind of lifestyle your character has, and what kind of standing they have (good, evil, I DO WHAT I WANT, neutral, etc.)

Biography: Pretty easy. Tell about yourself. Lineage is helpful, what races your parents were, how you got to be where you are now, etc.
Powers: Reference the race descriptions for what powers are allowed which races. Powers are NOT limited to elemental things, but you can only have 5 powers.
Weapons: Humans are probably not going to carry weapons beyond maybe a hand gun or some knives. Anyone who lives on Earth, actually, is going to have to have something concealable. Weapons in Heaven and Grek are limited only by your imagination.

Biography: Jack was an orphan from the day of his birth. He constantly began to start fights in the orphanage, cause general trouble until at the age of ten a man with no wife or children adopted him. The man worked for the government, and was assigned to find a boy to train to take his place should anything happen to him. Jack trained hard everyday and every night, to master his accuracy with guns after a few shots, lifted weights to become string, but stay true to his wiry frame. Then at the age of 24 the worse came to pass as the man closest to being a parent died on duty. By that time Jack had been trained to be an equal of his "father" and the government hired him immediately. Jack is officially a hit man, but is often hired by the government to do odd jobs. Lately, his work has been slowing down.
Powers: Proficient in many forms of hand to hand combat, which he has developed into his own personal style.
Weapons: Two pistols he keeps concealed in his jacket, and a knife in his right boot. His guns are loaded with armor piercing rounds.

Other Information: Jack is one of the few humans to know about the Grekkens and the Nephilim. The knowledge haunts him everyday, and he is often seen in a bar getting drunk. Officially he has taken no side, hoping to leave his options open for the winning side in every confrontation, unless job should say otherwise.

Biography: Lived a normal live until one day as he was crossing the street, he was moved out of the way by an angel, and as the angel touched him he glimpsed it briefly, unsure whether he was insane or not, Rade lived his life from that moment on protecting people.

He got a job as a doctor to further his goal, however, because of a blunder one day he got kicked out from his job, and now using the money he gathers at a part time job at a supermarket, he buys his own medical supplies, in a less then legitamet way. yet even after all life has thrown at him, he has never strayed from his purpose of saving peoples lives.

One day as he was walking home from helping a local person, he saw a lady getting beaten up in an alley, he of course jumped in to protect her, she managed to escape while he was beaten up, ever since that day he carries a cane sword around with him. Though he has no reason to use it yet.

Biography: In early Egypt, Al had his place as the only assassin under the current Egyptian ruler. His wife of one year's name was Khona, a simple woman who did nothing more than pottery and weave. During a simple assassination, Al was killed by a poisonous serpent. Little known to the ruler and all others, Al knew there was something bigger and better than man, something that could overtake man with a single breath. Without even knowing it, Al believed in God. After death, he was sent to Heaven, where not many Earth beings had come. His love for his wife still lingered, and he swore to protect her for the rest of her life. Thus begun the Guardian Angel revolution. He protected her as much as he could, he would possess who he could to keep her out of danger and eventually re-betrothed her with another man's body. He had convinced her there was something bigger than man; that there was a God, and she joined him in heaven. After that, he created an idealist group of Angels that vowed to protect the humans, and made it their duty to do so. Of course, all angels care for humans, but few made it their devotion to protect them.


Powers: Flight, Possession(nullifies powers), Adept Air movement qualities; even better Fire manipulation concepts, Immense speed on clouds, and with his Heat control and Air movement, he has somewhat learned to control electricity via controlled clouds.
Weapons: Sai Daggers, a Sickle Sword with hilt, and numerous throwing knives.

Other Information: Alekos is ancient; he is Micheal's (the Archangel) best friend, and follows God's orders to the dot. He also likes clouds a lot.

Biography: I fell from Heaven with Lucifer in the first war against God. Since then I've been stuck on this cursed planet. There's not much to tell of this empty life. There is constant war and struggle, and I leave this planet when I want to be invisible. The humans are always warring too, but at least on Earth there is some kind of peace. Here, there is no trust, and no order. I formed a group, the Fah'Rang, centuries ago. We are all Fallen Angels who regret following Lucifer. We have all tried to make things right, but it has become clear that the only way to be closer to God is to become Humans. We plan to take their bodies, and their planet, no matter what it takes.
Powers:Creation, control, and manipulation of fire and heat; Ability to possess humans and subhumans; Telekinesis: moving things without touching them; Flying (does not work when possessing a human)

Home: Lives on Earth, Frequently visits Grek
Occupation: Freelance Troublemaker. Prides herself on being a thief, con, assassin, and will do anything for a little fun.

Biography: My father was Lucifer. When the Nephilim came, he and the demons learned how to possess the bodies of men. He impregnated my mother, a young woman in Israel and the daughter of a shepherd. Her pregnancy outside of wedlock nearly cost her life, but my father could not allow it. He stayed in the human body to protect her until I was born.

I was born, and became the entire world to my father, who wanted nothing more than to be like God in that he had created something of his own image to roam this world. My mother no longer had any purpose to him, and he took me to Grek to grow and live there. However, that did not last long. My father and I returned to this earth to witness the birth of a human God. After that, Lucifer left me here. What God had made, his Jesus, was better than I had done for my father, and I think he was ashamed of me, that I could not fulfill his wishes to be as great as God.

I grew up on Grek, but now my home is on Earth. I've been having as much fun as I can, which usually means not staying anywhere for too long. I do what I want when I want, unless someone cashes in a favor or asks for one. Most of my life is run through favors, paying back and being paid back debts.
Powers: Shapeshifting; Astral Projection (includes possession of human bodies); Aura/Heat vision; Sound manipulation (uses sound to launch attacks or heal others)
Weapons: Naturally hard flesh (scaled skin as armor), sharp teeth and claws, Rod of Light that dematerializes at her will

Other Information: I will ALWAYS have my cellphone on me. And I love doing favors for people. The more favors I do, the more those people are going to owe me.

My natural form looks something like this. The hair is obviously going to be lighter, closer to the color of the profile picture. Also, the face is elongated to a sort of short snout like that of a lizard or dragon. Also, the smooth skin would be scaled, other than that it's pretty close.

Biography: There isn't much to tell about my home planet. I grew up in war, and have lived in it throughout the long years. With no day and no night, time seems to run on endlessly from one battle to the next without rest. My Father is Ryven Diazen III and my mother Ezell Diazen have been killed in one of those battles, a great honor among our kind. I separated from my Father's tribe in pursuit of my own after my second millennium of life, a millennium before his death, and won my mate's hand centuries after leaving. In the passing millenniums we've given life to four of our own children, three of which have gone to start their own tribes. My tribe is known as the Earth Wielders, we are two hundred strong and all carry the ability to create, shape, and strengthen solid stone. We prefer to stay in our Grekken forms.
Powers: Shape-shifting to human form; Telepathy, the ability to communicate with thought; Divination, the ability the foresee the immediate future (through concentration), and to find hidden objects; Enchantment, the ability to affect the minds of others, causing them to see and hear things that don't exist, not see things that do exist, temporarily have memories that never existed, or completely forget memories that do exist; Elemental control: Earth, mostly the creation of an extremely strong stone and shaping it into weaponry. The stone Ryven creates is almost identical to tempered steel.
Weapons: Carries around a permanent dagger attached to the hip, but has been known to craft a variety of different weapons whenever he desires.

Biography: Lily was raised by only her mother, going to school like any other normal kid. Her mother was loving, but there was always a darkness about her when Lily asked about her father. When Lily was 20, she was going to be married. Before her wedding, a man came to her house to talk to her. Her mother looked afraid, but told her that she could go with him. The two went far out into the wilderness, and Lily was afraid a wolf would get them. Then she saw a man twice her height, and he told her that he was her father, and that it was time to come with him. Lily was amazed, and the man explained a little about the Nephilim, their planet, and the people there. Lily refused to go with, and she was sent back to live with her mother, whom Lily questioned endlessly about the things she was told.
A government offical got in touch with her, to help her keep her identity secure, and to relocate her. Lily has had to start over her life many times in different places in order to hide her secret. She became a journalist in the early 60's and has been investigating odd reports and looking farther into the details on what she really is.
Powers: Heat vision, advanced hearing and smell, good at convincing people to get her way, and has become excellent at picking locks
Weapons: carries a small handgun when in the city for protection only, and a lockpicking set
