I can't get my appetite up. I find myself not eating but possibly once a day.
I know that this is extremely unhealthy, but I don't know how to fix it.

Fix a schedule, and force yourself to eat. Even if it is mechanical, do it. I'm so sorry to hear that you're hurting. It will get better, and when it does you're going to be glad that instead of not eating and losing a bunch of weight, only to be destined to gain it back, you'll have lost a little bit of weight (because you're holding yourself to a diet) and you can continue losing weight.
The other thing is that (I don't know if you go through this phase, but I do) You might go through a non eating phase (mine is about a week or more) and then through an eating everything phase. Holding yourself to a fixed eating schedule will help you deal with both if you have them and keep you healthy while you're grieving.

Awh I'm sorry! If you cant eat at least drink Juice, J-ello mix, broth, and sodas. That should give you some calories. Also try to hang out with friends and family to help get you mind off things.

actually once a month it's very good for you to fast.
But I know this isn't what you are referring to. I would agree with the others, and say that even if it's something small keep eating, or else you will move onto the I'm starving, replace my sorrow with food phase.

I would agree with the others, and say that even if it's something small keep eating, or else you will move onto the I'm starving, replace my sorrow with food phase. Unless you're experiencing specific GI symptoms, there's no documented evidence that fasting is beneficial to one's health.

The juice sounds like a great idea.
I'm less likely to puke that up.
And I wish I could do the schedule, but my work hours are so unbalanced that I can't.

My dear I completely understand the physical toll that emotional distress can take on you. Just be careful. Eat what you can when you can, but don't stress out about not being able to eat, it will likely make the problem that much worse. ):
Just do your best and try to keep your mind off of the hardship. <33 We are all here for you.
