Maion had travelled from the herd lands alone, his mate and children slumbering gently in their beds safe and sound from the choas of the world. His friends guarding them with their lives, he would not have left them alone for any reason other than the one that brought him to the mountains this day. Since two of his children had inherited his Angeni genes in force he would not see them restricted when they eventually learnt to take flight - no, he would give them freedom if he could. Freedom to fly freely.

And so he walked onwards towards the mountain base, and the start of a neighbouring herd land. If things went well this day, an alliance would be formed. He scented someone on the wind and so stopped in his tracks, he didn't want to cause anger by approaching land that was called home by another without invitation.

Neria had been home at the herdlands. Today, her mother and father had something 'special' to talk to her about. When she had arrived, they had explained an initiation and that they believe she would be the Herds next leader because they were growing older and they were ready to settle and try for their last lot of children. Neria liked the idea, as she wandered around Eden a little longer, she pondered the offer and how it would affect her, Sylar and Sauda's lives. It would be better than living at the base of the mountain and Sylar would be safe, away from harm of the creatures within the forest. At last, she accepted and in return, she had to bring her family to Eden and begin the process of showing them she could handle the new responsibility. She made her way through the entrance, her siblings on her mind. If Alex wasn't so busy and so love struck, they would have sure picked him but she was going to have to show she could do this better and that they had picked the right choice. With wings spread wide open, she trotted to the edge of the mountain trail and took flight, letting the wind drift along her feathers; approaching the bottom a male Angenicorn stood tall, halted in her tracks. She tilted her head. 'Strange... Why would another Angeni be here?' She thought, and landed coming to a firm stop before the larger male. With a friendly smile, she stepped closer but in a cautious distance. "Hi, may I help you with something?"

As the delicate looking female approached Maion need immediatly he did not recognise her. He had met a few members of this other herd before, especially since the alpha Tah had once been his student as a foal. Yet before him stood someone that could only be seen as her daughter -but with more of Jo's features. He had hoped to meet with one of them, or maybe their eldest son Alex but he would take what the fates had given him with an open heart. They had not yet led him the wrong way. "My name is Maion, I am of the Miakoda herd and I wish to speak of an alliance." He bowed his head softly, never taking his eyes of the pretty mare but wishing to show her that he intended no harm at all. "If such a thing would be of interest to you." He had decided when he set on this task that he would be forthcoming with his task and hope that it landed upon worthy ears.

Until they discussed terms he would not reveal his own family -as far as this mare would be concerned he was nothing but a guardian to a herd. Not a father. Not a mate to a delicate, pure heart mare. No. He would never risk tehir safety.

Neria blinked blankly, it was like this opportunity had just been throwing to her by their god as a sign. She bowed her head back in return out of politeness and nodded. "My name is Neria. I am sure word of our herd has reached your ears or you wouldn't be here today." She chuckled and tossed her head gently to the side. He was a stunning stallion and his features fit so well to his build and nature. She signaled to walk. "This will be better discussed out of the open, in case anything reaches unwelcome ears." He probably understood the measures that had to be taken, as a rule to keep the herd safe. She lead them both to a small cave in the base of the mountain, she did not mention that it was her temporary home bu it would be perfect and out of the way to talk about the situation.

His smile brightened at her words, "I fear you do not know how happy I am to hear your acceptance." Life really did seem to be going his way as of late, his family had come home to him -he now knew what it meant to be a leader and to guide others, for he was doing everything within his power to guide his children. He would see no harm come to those who he loved.

"That is fine," he looked to the entrance -his eyes seeing more than was in view. He could almost take the water of his lake, smell the breeze that was scented with the smells of those he held so dear. They where what mattered -not a pure hatred to destroy all skinwalkers, especially now things had changed. Changed so completely, but now was not the time to contemplate such things. Not when happiness wanted to spill out of him like a rainbow.

Turning his attention back to Neria he spoke once again, "Not an issue, I request we wait for an hour or two if you wish to see them today simply because many of my members are sleeping. My herd favors the night -Miakoda- means under the Moon." He smiled softly again, his eyes speaking of a hidden happiness of loyality and joy. "It is appreciated that you will give a tour to those who can not fly, I will give the offer to them when next I see them."
