Okay, well I got my cartilage pierced a little over a week ago. It has been itching like crazy and it makes me angry. I know it's probably because it's healing but still. I mostly made this topic just to let you people know. Feel free to post whatever in here ^^
Also, my mom and aunt are making me freak about a bit. They said they took their out and let theirs heal because it wouldn't stop hurting. It'll heal, right? D:

Only ever got my ears pierced once, after awhile let them fill in cuz I had a bit of a reaction to the nickle in a set of earings, but Wikipedia says "With cartilage piercing, the blunt force of an ear piercing instrument will traumatize the cartilage, and therefore make healing more difficult" So it could be normal.

A lot of people have nickle allergies. I have the same problem. I have gotten my ears pierced three times.Two in each lobe and one in cartilage. I knew it would take a while, but no one told me about the itching. I also got my cartilage at the tattoo parlor because I heard it is a lot safer than a gun. I think it was normal too, but I was just making sure.

I got mine done a long time ago..
After a few days of having it I developed a blood bubble right next to the piercing. It got really big and to the point that it needed to be drained daily because it looked like it was ganna grow over my piercing.
I think it stayed that way for 6 months.
I was sooo happy it finally went away xD

hmmmm... welll instead of nickle i got titanium and star sapphire for my pirecing studs...but make sure you clean you're earing dayly if their new for about a year.

I can't wear nickle. I have an allergy to it. I have the starter earing right now which is surgical steel.

I am cleaning it three times a day. It's healed really well and I can finally sleep on it. I got it three weeks ago ^.^

You think so? I didn't have the best experience with earrings before but I think getting you cartilage pierced looks super awesome.

I think you should get your cartilage pierced. It's awesome! Just be prepared for a lot of pain, then it won't be as bad. The first day is the worse though. It gets bearable after a while though. They also use sergical steel if you go to a tattoo parlor. That way there is not possibility of nickle allergies.
