The morning had come far too early for Phantes' liking. He wished so much for it to be night again so that he could stay here in the den with Tempest for many more hours. But alas that was not what was to happen. The suns rays could be seen filtering in through the dens entrance just begging for him to get up. Phantes took a deep breath, taking in the sweet aroma of Tempest who lay beside him still asleep. This night together had been quite magical, just like their meeting and while a small part of him felt guilty for bedding her on the same night as their meeting he knew that this was no one night stand. They were a couple now, strong and in love.
Laying quietly beside her Phantes watched Tempest sleep with a smile on his maw. The gentle rise and fall of her chest, mixed with the occasional content sigh escaping her made this morning one to remember. He would let her sleep for as long as she wished if only to watch his beautiful girl in such a peaceful moment. They could meet her parents later, and he didn't really need to see the pack lands just yet. For now, he was content to lie here and watch her, eyes refusing to look away.

[I'll get her image in a sec.]
Tempest awoke slowly, her body wracked with several sensations all at once. The sun peered at her questioningly, as if even the Gods themselves were shocked at where last night had ended up. She barely understood it herself. Her first time, was with a stranger, her Phantes. Her true love. Her breath stayed a comfortable steady pace, but her eye's flicked up to look at Phantes who'd been watching her with a contented grin.
"Good morning, handsome!" She said with a large wolf-ish yawn, teeth, pearl, sparkled in the suns embrace. her den needed to be dug a bit deeper she considered thsi lightly then moved on.She stretched in the space provided and let her body crack comfortably, what had she let happen last night. She gave instincts a high five mentally because as much as she enjoyed it, she was new.
"How are you love?" She shifts onto her stomach, ears flicking back, then forward again. She could already hear a buzz of wolves outside. Her ears picked up Pekko's incisive prodding at Meme and a sweet humming from her dear sister Aleu. She smiled briskly and stood stretching further. "Going to be a great day!" She sadi excitedly and stepped free of the remaining shadow she had covering her body.

He watched in silence as she slowly woke to the mornings light. She seemed even more beautiful than he remembered her to be now that the sun was dancing across her fur. "Good morning beautiful." He gave her muzzle and rub with his own. His muscles were a bit sore from the nights activities and the somewhat cramped space of her den but Phantes would never complain about such trivial things given the positives to compare to those few negatives.
"I am perfect." His maw stretched with a smile. How could he not be perfect given the circumstances he found himself in. Left ear turned towards the entrance of the den as the sounds of pack activity filtered in. It would be a great day, he was looking forward to meeting her family and expressing his interest in joining them. "Shall we go see them? Or do you wish to stay here for longer?" He questioned as he did his best to stretch out some of his more cramped muscles.

"I'm sure a couple of them may spark interest in my current situation." She laughed scornfully at her not planning ahead, but meh, s**t happens! She left the den fully now, basking in the sun that now seemed welcoming. She eyed the groups that had stopped near her den and heard the whispers, she snickered and blushed.
"Perhaps we could dig the den larger, being what we just done and how cramped it feels just now." She smiles sweetly, feeling very close to Phantes then ever. Did she ever have things to tell Aleutian about! Her new found best friend, her new found mate and a new day. Things were going just as planned, and pups? Possibly pups! She was nearly giddy off her rocker.
She then spotted her sister and Pekko making their way over. how ironic the pack clown and the sturdy sister. She blushed deeply eying the pair up as they approached.
"Aleutian Ballad, Pekko; meet Phantes." She smiled weakly unsure of their reactions.

"I look forward to stirring up a bit of conversation." He stayed back allowing her to exit the den first and then slowly followed her out. Nodding to her as he took the chance to fully stretch his muscles. "A bigger den would be nice, but not necessary." At least not yet, he thought, for he did like being 'forced' to sleep so close to her. Of course that though was immediately pushed to the back of his mind as his attention turned to the two wolves approaching.
Phantes stood close to Tempest to lend his support as it was clear to him that she was a bit nervous about the situation. "It is a pleasure to meet you both." He said with a dip of his head to them both. A smile had formed on her face as she watched her sister emerge from her den. Only a few nights ago did they sit and have the first real conversation as sisters, it had been pleasant and welcoming. Aleu was really looking forward to having a close bond with Tempest and getting to spend time with her. And just as she was about to suggest spending the day together Aleu spotted a large grey male emerge from her sisters den. Brow quirked and she couldn't help but give her sister an amused and shocked look.
"Well look who is the mated brood now!" She exclaimed, but was quite happy that her sister had found someone. Tempest looked so happy and that was a good thing, Aleu wanted only the best for her sister. But of course as Tempest had said she wished to meet Verse to ensure he was right for Aleu, then Aleu needed to make sure this Phantes fellow was good for her sister. "Phantes." She said with a slightly critical look in her eye.

Pekko arrived at Aleu's side, they had just finished a not so intriguing conversation about Verse and had moved onto something a lot more juicy. He eyed the scene e before him with a quizzical expression, tail low and mind blown as to what just happened. A male, unharmed, in Tempests den. He let in a great gasp and heaved out the air dramatically.
"Nice to meet you!" He gasped as the breath he'd inhaled included a juicy bug. How else was there to start a conversation with a total and complete stranger, though as far as he knew Tempest and Phantes were complete strangers, until last night it seemed. Pekko ignored the brood comment from Aleu, assuming it to be old females bickering and sat back to watch the man slaughter that was the women of the Alphas.
---
Tempest watched the pair closely, both reacted differently, but calmly though Aleu got rapidly excited then calmed and grew a stern stare at Phantes. "Pfft, being a mated broad is more wonderful then I'd ever imagined!" She proclaimed, voice fluttering as her heart hammered lively. "May the Gods have mercy on this place and let us all live long and prosper!" She giggled and nosed her stern looking sister affectionately.
"Leave the poor wolf alone, he's more romantic then warrior; more out to steal a woman's heart then tear it out." She smiled, a smile as sweet as could be following those words. 'What say we 'double date' Aleu, have a true aggressive stare down then. Its' morning and I'm hungry!" She was brisk to change real greetings to something more exciting. She didn't want silly old Pekko to know everything, that meant the pack would know everything.

Phantes let out a slight chuckle at the brood comment. My for a sister she certainly knew how to make a first impression, though he supposed since the other female didn't seem overly upset about things that comment was given in good hearted spirit. The stern stare from the other didn't phase him one bit, he expected her family to question Tempy's choices, that's what loving, caring families did. "Aleutian Ballad, it's an interesting name." He commented trying to stir up some more pleasant conversation.
Eyes ticked to the green male, but since he seemed to be removing himself from the conversation in a way he turned his attention back to the sister. For she was the one he needed to prove himself to.
Aleu let her eyes slowly move from Phantes to her sister. "See I told you it was a good thing, just had to experience it for yourself." Her smile broadened for a moment then slowly faded as she turned her attention back to Phantes. "Oh I'll leave him alone once I know he's good for you. Isn't that what you plan to do with Verse for me?" She decided to temporarily ignore his comment about her interesting name, instead she padded forward a bit, humming as she went, letting her eyes roam over the male before her. Well Tempest certainly had an interesting choice in males, good, but interesting.
"I am named after a violent storm and songs." She remarked and she moved to the side, once again casting her eyes over him. "But you may call me Aleu, it's what everyone calls me." Having finished her initial inspection Aleu moved back to stand in front of them, casting a momentary glance at Pekko who was being well Pekko. "Verse is out right now, but we can go get something to eat and I'm sure he will be by in a bit."

Tempest was quietly aware of the looks her sister was giving, eying up the poor male she'd taken into her den. "I'll share my stories of our fun later Aleu, perhaps if you'd care to help expand my den?" She smiled fondly, openly suggesting her intentions of having a family. not only having one, but having one soon, soon as she could in fact and even suggested that Phantes would be here a good long while.
"Of course sister dear, do as you please with Phantes. And a hunt sounds wonderful, doesn't it Pekko!?" She exclaimed happily, stomach grumbling viciously in accompaniment of the thought of a good meal. "When he Verse gets around it'll be much fun! Girls gossiping and Phantes meeting new, more active males." She giggled teasingly at the green male who appeared completely zoned, but growled almost on the note of making fun of him.
---
"Hey now, Miss Disappears all night and ends up with a male by the morning, least I stay in the territory with females we can trust!" He was obviously noting Meme as his primary target for a female he trusted with his life. He dubbed her his life partner to most new comers, to threaten competition. His speech was noted with a 'at least I'm not creepy' look from Tempest and a tail thwap.
"Hey now..." He growled again, lightly this time and with a large playful grin. "When is he meeting your folks? I'm sure they'll be psyched to hear you're finally mature!" He prodded the bear once again and this time skittered away awaiting another beating, one that never came and made him stop in his tracks, only to be clobbered by a dashing Tempest. They still weren't far from Aleu and Phantes, which Pekko assumed wouldn't linger there to much.

Named after a violent storm and songs. "Very well then, Aleu it is." Well that certainly was interesting. He would need to ask about this later, but for now he wished to just meet any new faces he could. For this was to be his new home, and new family, so it was important for him to get comfortable with it. The mention of Tempest's den needed to be made bigger made him smile. They had only just met but he did look forward to having a family with her.
Phantes hadn't expected Tempest to turn on Peeko like that, but he figured it was an old rivalry or something that was quite the norm given the reaction of Aleu to it all. Hopefully he would never do anything that would make Tempest turn on him like that, even if it was all in fun. For Phantes wished to never cause Tempest any heartache or grief.
Aleu quirked a brow at her sister. Help expand her den, my wasn't she moving fast, though she would voice these concerns in private later. For now she was willing to play the role of loving sister who accepted this new male without question. Of course Pekko's question did catch Aleu's attention. "I shall have to be there when you do introduce him to mother and father, might be a good show you know."
Letting out a laugh as Pekko stopped only to be clobbered by Tempest she looked back at Phantes again. "You best treat my sister right or this whole pack will be breathing down your neck." Trotting over to where Tempest and Pekko was she gave her sister a nudge with her paw. "Come on, your breakfast isn't gonna catch itself."

Tempest was intrigued by their interactions, but she had others thing on her mind. She was busy dealing with a courageous male whom had begun speaking out of turn in a round about, sarcastic tone. She was jumpy now, excited, body quivering with the moment. She was hyperactive and motivated.
"Well let's get amove on guys!" She said happily, tail wagging, she thanked Phantes, with her eyes, for the night and how magical she felt right now, the words he said and his sticking around. She admired him for that, but a slight fear crept up into her heart. What if he left like Father left her Mother. She smiled to herself and to him, she knew they'd pull through anything, even if he left for a period of time.
"Don't worry, he'll be meeting them soon enough! Why ruin the day with lectures right now when I can worry about that later on Aleutian." She laughed nervously, but the nerves came and passed quickly.
---
Pekko gave a nod to Aleu and moved on for the hunt, what they would catch today would have to be good. He wasn't about to hide the news of what had happened here without a good slab of meat. He presumed he wouldn't have to hide anything for long any who, she was to excited it seemed.
"I can't wait to tell Meme, your nights escapades will certainly earn you a nice lecture, and you.. male wolf. Phantes was it? You'll have twice the lecture!" Pekko laughed and nimbly moved a side swipe from Tempest who retorted with a 'stop threatening him'.

Phanes beamed a smile at his girl as she pestered the green wolf. Seeing her happy made him happy so he was more than willing to overlook her treatment of the other wolf. Of course Pekko's reaction had been a fair indication that the wolf often got himself into trouble by doing or saying the wrong things. But of course his eyes turned to Aleu for the moment. "I will treat her right, you have my word on that." And while a thieves word may not go very far with most wolves the ones gathered here now didn't know of his lifestyle, though it was something he wouldn't be able to hide much longer. He would admit to his faults like a man and suffer any consequences that came along with it as long as he got to stay by Tempy's side.
With a slight wag of his tail he set off with the group of them, walking beside Tempest for now, though once they found their prey they would need to separate if only to bring the beast down easily, whatever that beast may be. But at Pekko's words he glanced at the green wolf and smiled. "I am willing to endure whatever lecture her parents have for me."
"Fine." She told her sister with a look in her eye that told Tempest she would stop for now, but to expect more prodding of details later. "But can you at least make sure you warn me before you tell mom and dad, I want to make sure I have a good place to watch it all unfold." Aleu laughed slightly and took her place behind Phantes and Tempest as they headed out from the dens area on their hunt. It meant being stuck beside Pekko but surely she could endure the presence of the pack clown for a little while, and if not a good cuff on his head might send him running off.

Tempest could only imagine the torture the pair of them would go through, she was sure Meme would be in on the lecturing and would be shouldering her parents. She sighed happily, it would be a fun experience! She laughed at her thoughts then let her nose drift into the air a moment taking in a general scent. Then there it was! Rabbit! "I smell rabbit!" She proclaimed and was off like a rocket, wanting to forget about the lecture already and move on to something to quench her belly's growling at her. "Don't worry sister, you'll be there!' She barked to them last before disappearing.
---
Pekko watched Aleu carefully, awaiting the predicted thump to his head, he was used to being wanted away. Even his dear Meme beat him occasionally, no one ever actually hurt him, but he missed his family due to the unwant here. He wondered now where his bright yellow sister was, he sighs and watches as Tempest runs off.

Phantes chuckled slightly as Tempest took off after the rabbit. "That's my girl." Picking up the pace he followed her into the trees but would allow Tempest to make the kill. He was almost too happy right now to eat, but if Tempest insisted on it he would share the meal with her. So far though the meeting with Aleu and Pekko had gone quite well in his mind and it certainly gave him a perspective as to what to expect when he would meet her parents. He would need to prove himself to them, and that was nothing that he expected, Tempest was their daughter after all and they had every right to question her choice in a mate, especially given how quickly things had gone with the two.
Knowing that Pekko was expecting her to thump him Aleu merely looked upon the green wolf with a friendly smile and then turned her attention back to the retreating forms of Tempest and Phantes. Of course a couple of seconds later when Pekko would less expect it, she quickly reached out and bonked him on the skull. Aleu didn't normally take any pleasure in hitting the pack clown, but he had practically been asking her to do so when he looked at her. Letting out a laugh Aleu chased after her sister and the large grey male, calling back to Pekko. "Come on, you don't want to be left behind."

Tempest was going crazy with thoughts of how her parents would react to her choice in mate. She wouldn't back down, wasn't in her nature to let go of something so easily, but she worried they'd get picky about him or something. "You guys are so slow!" She howled teasingly, knowing full well that Aleu and Pekko were a little farther behind due to Pekko's, Pekkoness. She laugehd at her own thought and slowed suddenly. The delicious smell of fresh meat was nearby. A hopping meal wouldn't be so hopping once Tempest found it.
Pekko winced the whole 5 seconds he was near Aleu by himself. He hadn't been truely beat by Tempest, so he was safe around he he felt, but that's because she'd disappeared and didn't know him well beyond the last few months. He nearly jumped in place when Aleu spoke to him, ears flicking, eye'sa wide and tail low, between his legs almost. "Oh.. uhm! Of course Aleutian!" He laughed nervously and bolted straight after Tempest in a crazy run.

Phantes caught up to Tempest quite quickly and it took every ounce of restraint not to put on an addition burst of speed and tackle her to the ground. But she was hunting, albeit a bit distractedly, so he would restrain from such antics for now. Listening to her laugh Phantes smiled and then called out to her. "I thought you were supposed to be quiet when hunting." He teased as he continued to follow closely behind her, enjoying the view.
"Hey you try to be fast when you're pair up the the clown!" She yelled out after her sister, glancing back to see Pekko tagging along still. He was running decently fast now and if she wanted to be extremely mean she could always slow down and then as he reached her trip him with a paw. Shaking her head Aleu decided against that, besides she needed to keep Tempest and Phantes in sight so as to spy on the two.
