The sky lit up with the approaching storm. A dark outline stood on the roof of a house staring out across the town. Chiming rings out under the thunder. The figure looks down and smirks “A hollow? And here I was enjoying this fine weather” her feminine voice says softly. She takes one last look out as the fog rolls in, water droplets pelting her uniform. She disappears from the roof as lightning reflects off metal.

A young child giggles as she splashes in a puddle. “Rain, rain” she sings happily, unaware of the shadows around her. The monster slinks out, stalking the child before leaping for the little girl. Lightning flashes as it reaches the child, knocking the street lights out suddenly as it hits the ground. It roars in anger, the shadowy figure hunched with the child cradled against her chest. She sits the child down “run along home quickly” she says and watches the child run. The hollow leaps at the figure, who just smirks as the lightning flashed again.

The figure appeared behind the hollow “Like I’d fall for a trivial trick like that” she said as she slashed at it. The hollow roared in anger as it thrashed about. It turned and fled into the alley. She rolled her eyes and appeared behind it “Running already?? Pathetic” she said coldly as she appeared above it and slashed its mask in half. The hollow screamed and died “May your soul find peace at last” she said smiling as she sheathed her blade. Her eyes widened as her blood sprayed from her side. The hollow behind her laughed as it licked her blood off its claws. She whirled around as she placed a hand on the wound. “Commander wont be happy about this” she glared at the hollow as she drew her blade once more.

Aoi’s eyes darted around the room from the door, to Akai and then back to Nasune. Many more came through the door. The first that came in was a female with long black hair and a beautiful kimono, who apologized about being late. The red head, whom she had gathered the name Kazuya, left after she entered, and he seemed pretty pissed at her for some reason. He stopped for a minute, letting Akai know he was leaving and then swiftly left. After he left, a blond haired male walked in, sporting a pair of cowboy boots and a pair of wondering eyes… He looked toward Aoi for a moment and all she saw in his eyes were pure lust. Maybe a bit of curiosity, but mostly lust. Nasune just laughed at him, but Aoi couldn’t tell why. Up until then he had seemed pretty… possessive with Aoi so she was a bit boggled at the moment. She pushed herself closer to Nasune, trying to avoid this man’s gaze, but it didn’t work that well, he could still see her. He turned away though, apologizing to Akai just like the others that had come in late and sat down in some seat. Another man came in then, standard black hair. He looked really sleepy, but it’s like he refused to go to sleep.

The purple haired girl that had been here sat up from her seat and came over to the Nasune, Kit and Aoi. She didn’t quite here what she said to Nasune, but when she suddenly looked at Aoi and spoke to her, Aoi tensed. This… Soren, as she said her name was, sounded like she was forcing the nice and warm tone in her voice. Aoi didn’t like it. The other blonde one came in then, taking his seat and looking toward Aoi. He wished her well and then introduced himself. His voice sounded nicer then… Soren’s but Aoi wasn’t buying anything these guys were saying.

The sleepy black haired one from before called out toward… Yuri, was it? His voice was joking and challenging at the same time. Maybe he was mad about how Yuri was talking to Akai, seeing as how the black haired one kept looking at her and smiling. Yuri returned the tone, saying everything with a smile. Did this guy ever stop smiling? It was starting to creep Aoi out a bit. Just then a brown (?) haired boy walked in, sitting down in his chair and half-introducing himself as Musubi, and then being silent and unmoving. Akai started to speak then, telling Nasune to calm down and then turning toward the black haired male, named Andante, telling him to lay off the challenging gestures. She told them of her plan then. So, she planned to bring the Kitsune here? Aoi knew that when she said that Aoi was “negotiation purposes” she really meant bait. She was just being nice and choosing words to sugar-coat it. Not that Aoi minded, she knew what she meant and that’s all that mattered.

That’s not what bothered Aoi out of Akai’s words though. Aoi knew that she just wanted to use the Kitsune. She was probably hoping some would die, and the ones that didn’t, she would kill off herself. Aoi didn’t like this woman at all. But it sure seemed like Andante did. He leaned on every word she said, even apologizing to… Yuri when Akai told him not to start fights. Yuri, on the other hand, waved it off, like nothing had happened, and he offered his assistance in the… “mission”, saying he wanted to keep communication between the ones going and the ones staying.

Suddenly, she felt her choker returned to her neck and then saw Kit return to where she was. Aoi smiled faintly at Kit for a moment, grateful that she had given her choker back, even if it was a bit empty without her Hoshi no Tama. As soon as that happened, she sensed the Reiatsu of Kazuya, with the Kitsune. A blast of Reiatsu was let loose and Aoi flinched. Was he… attacking the Kitsune? He suddenly left then, after attacking and Aoi was a bit relived. If that guy hurt the other Kitsune… He would just have hell to pay. Beside her, Nasune bent down and Aoi jumped on his back, and wrapped her arms and legs around him, just like before. Ah, good, she didn’t have to walk, or run for that matter. Not that she minded, but… she was tired and she figured it was a long way. So she would take Nasune’s offer for a piggy back ride as long as it was open!

When she was secure on his back, Nasune took off out the door and they headed out to meet the Kitsune.

Tsuchi was backed into a corner and had very little he could do. He was surrounded by 5 enemy ninja’s of the hidden mist. He knew he could take them but he was exhausted and had very little chakra left. He reached into his pocket and grabbed a smoke bomb. He threw the bomb down, covering him in a cloud of smoke. When he was covered in the smoke he preformed the hand signs and produced a wood clone. The real Tsuchi then disappeared into the ground beneath him. As the smoke cleared five wood spikes shot out at the mist ninjas. One was hit and severely wounded. Now there were four opposing ninjas left. The all did hand signs and preformed a great fireball jutsu. Tsuchi countered by summoning a giant wall of rock in front of him. The fireballs combined and exploded against the wall, scorching the wall, with flames blasting on either side of the wall. The wood clone’s cloak caught fire. The clone threw off the cloak as soon as he could. The wall disappeared and Tsuchi was standing there ready to continue with his plan. The real Tsuchi snuck up out of the ground slowly and quietly. He then did some hand signs and four spikes of wood shot out of Tsuchi’s hands. Two of the spikes made direct hits in the back of two of the mist ninja’s, just missing their heart so they would still be alive, and the other two ninja’s heard the spikes flying at them before they could make contact. The two missed spikes just missed the wood clone as well. The two mist ninjas were now back to back. They were low on chakra as well as Tsuchi. The four of them, Tsuchi, his clone, and the two mist ninjas, jumped at each other, weapons drawn. They fought each other for a good 10 minutes before either side landed a blow. The clone plunged the blade of his kunai into the mist ninja’s leg while the mist ninja plunged his kunai into the clone’s heart. The clone turned to wood and trapped the kunai in him leaving the mist ninja weaponless. Tsuchi plunged his naginata blade into the mist ninja’s shoulder, forcing him to drop his kunai, and fall to his knees, unable to continue. The, now defenseless, mist ninja turned to face the real Tsuchi. Tsuchi already had his naginata blade pointed at the mist ninja. The ninja knew he could do nothing and surrendered.

Tsuchi took in a deep breath after tying up the unharmed mist ninja. The other ninja’s were tied to a tree for Tsuchi’s ANBU force to come and get them. Tsuchi walked back to the village with the mist ninja in front of him. When they got back to the village the Chunnin at the gate greeted Tsuchi with a graceful bow. “Take him to the interrogation room.” Tsuchi commanded of them. The bowed and took the mist ninja. “Let’s go scum.” One of the Chunnins said. When they were out of sight, and Tsuchi was alone, a three man cell ANBU group appeared behind Tsuchi. “What shall we do?” The leader of the group asked Tsuchi. “Go and fetch the other four. They are tied to a tree about an hour north west from the village. They are all injured and unable to fight so it shouldn’t be too hard to bring them back. We will need them all to gain any advantage in this day and age. The ANBU team all bowed and then disappeared. Tsuchi was tired and wasn’t ready to go back to his office yet. Instead he took a detour to a ramen shop. He sat down and was greeted by a smiling young woman. “What can I get for you, sir?” The woman said with the smile still on her face. “A bowl of Beef Ramen and a Bottle of your finest sake please.” Tsuchi said in response with a smile on his face. Five minutes later the woman produced his order. “Enjoy.” She said with a smile. Tsuchi smiled back and grabbed for a pair of chop stick. Before he could dig in the ANBU team came back. “Sorry to interrupt you sir but we couldn’t make it to the other four. We were ambushed along the way and we had to come back. Their ANBU team was comprised of four of them and they had the advantage so we had to flee.” Tsuchi sighed and stood up. “Well than we must prepare.” Tsuchi said as he reached into his pocket and produced twice the amount of the bill and put it next to his full bowl. “I am sorry young lady but I must leave now. Here is the money for the bill. I will come back when I can for some food.” Tsuchi said with a smile on his face. He grabbed the sake bottle, filled up his gourd with the sake and started to walk away. “Wait.” Came the young lady’s voice. Tsuchi turned around to see what she wanted. “Please take the bowl with you, sir.” The young lady said with a smile on her face. Tsuchi smiled back and grabbed the bowl and chop sticks. “Thank you, young lady.” Tsuchi replied with a smile.

Ryu, I want to make it clear this is nothing personal, and the basis I sent the PM on is very subjective. The attitude your character has seems to be more befitting of another Village. Hokages are generally softer and more kind. (An additional reason, you noted you had very little Chakra left. But somehow managed to pull off a wood clone, which uses a great deal of chakra. Another Wood technique, and then a Katon attack.)
