This is a park within Karakura town. It has a play scape for younger kids, a large field for Frisbee or any other kind of sport, along with a sitting area for adults who watch their kids. It is a very popular place for the residents of Karakura town, and unless you come in the middle of the night, there will most likely be a few people here at least.

Somehow she had wriggled from of Yoshi's grip and made it to the park first. That boy had some ridiculously strong grip. Getting so excited about coming to the park, I guess her excitedness about the situation didn't make it any better. There was no one here. Obviously, the bridge blew up only a short while ago. They were probably clutching their children for dear life, or down at the bridge paying attention to things that did not concern them at all.
In any case it was easier to be here with no one around to interrupt, or become hurt by what may show up. Now where would they be, these Hollows. How could they get them to come here. Concentration? Maybe if she meditated she could get them to come out. But as far as she knew she didn't have any reiatsu. So that wouldn't do her much good...maybe if she climbed the high slide, maybe even the swingset. It was a higher view, though the sky was clearly visible so it wouldn't make much difference.
She glanced around as she walked further onto the playground, taking in the sights of it. So this is where children played, normal children played. She didn't have much time for fun where she was raised. Though in it's own way what she did was surely fun. If not cool to some others, she always found learning new techniques somewhat cool. Even if they were extremely dangerous, just knowing you could accomplish what appeared to be a superhuman feat was astounding.
"How do we get them to come?" She asked Yoshi, knowing he was probably right behind her. of all things the kid surely wasn't slow. If he tried he might be faster than her, but it was a wasteful thought. The boy and this cheerful playground were all wastes of time. The only important things was the Hollows. She unsheathed her katana with her left hand, then quickly transferred it to her right. She couldn't fight with her left, the shoulder wound might open again.

Sasaki “Yoshi” Yoshiro
“Only Human” -----------------------------------------------------------
Faux-chan had somehow managed to escape from Yoshi's grip and headed off to the park first, with Yoshi running nearly right behind her. Unlike Faux-chan though, Yoshi was meticulously careful, possibly even too cautious. He stopped and waited for the Walk signal, walked on the crosswalks, the same things. He only wished that Faux-chan hadn't let go of his hand and ran off on her own, it wasn't safe to be out and about by oneself, there were all sorts of kidnappers, psychopaths, and creepy people out there! God knows how many times Yoshi had to fight his way out of kidnappings, strangely it was mostly by women but oh well.
Arriving at the park a few minutes after Faux-chan, Yoshi was quite surprised, it was usually bustling with activity! Maybe because the bridge fell people had left? Nah, that can't be it, after all why would a bridge collapsing affect people at the park? But, it was the only plausible explanation. Walking over to the swing set, Yoshi went ahead and started swinging on it, extending his feet as he went forward and kicking them behind on the descend, this was supposed to let you go higher. Yoshi didn't know if it was true or not but he was going pretty high. Wheee! This was fun!
"Uhmm, 'increase your reiatsu' or something like that." Yoshi repeated, yelling loudly as the wind came rushing into his face. It was odd too, he was scared of heights usually but right now he was basically showing off. Reiatsu... it was that aura-like thing, right? Apparently, hopefully even, or else Faux-chan would be disappointed. First though, it took him a bit of concentration to 'cause a sort of cool looking flare around him. So, Yoshi took a deep breath and released his hold on the chains of the swing when it reached its apex.
Flying forward, Yoshi leaned his head forward so that he would crash head first into the ground... if he didn't do anything. Extending both his hands first, as the ground came rushing up, Yoshi's hands hit the ground in an impact that would've likely caused a good deal of pain to another person's. As his head came closer to the ground, his elbows were bended, Yoshi straightened his hands as his legs were falling forward. Doing so, he propelled himself up into the air and landed on his feet nimbly.
"Oh Faux-chan, Shinigami-san had a sword like that too that he used to fight with." Yoshi added as he noted that Faux-chan's sword was out. It did have similarities to Shinigami-san's one too, though there were some slight differences. Yoshi wondered if Faux-chan was as good as Shinigami-san, who knew, maybe. Well, it wasn't time for speculation, he should concentrate. As Yoshi began to do so, slowly at first, but increasingly, a green aura began to surround him that soon began to expand outwards, it could be described as a green Super Saiyan 5, except without the growing hair. Why did their hair grow anyways? It was odd and didn't make much sense, but apparently hair length corresponds with power? Anyways, enough of that, his reiatsu should be enough now, shouldn't it?
Looking at it from a Shinigami's point of view, Yoshi's reiatsu was likely at Yon Sekki, Fourth Seat, right now. Yet, this wasn't all of his power, it was just the amount he felt he needed to release. After a while, the reiatsu he released began to spiral into both his hands, disappearing through the pressure was still there. At the very least, this was going to attract maybe a Hollow or two, or possibly Shinigami-san. However, it was also feasible that this human feeling reiatsu that was so powerful would also attract other entities. "You have to do something like this, Faux-chan!" Yoshi explained to her somewhat cheerfully too.

What was he doing playing on a swing? Was this not serious enough to him that he felt he could play. Of course he wasn't taking it seriously, she all but encouraged his playful behavior. But she watched him play on the swing nonetheless. He'd hopefully be done with his small enjoyable time before long. But she was mostly focused on his statement. Increase her reiatsu, well she didn't even know what that was so she couldn't very well increase it. That was if she even had any to begin with.
Her eyes went side for a second as Yoshi jumped from the swing, seemingly going to bash his head into the ground. She held her katana out towards her side before taking a step forward. Stopping only as he landed...it was ridiculous. The force with which he had hit the ground was incredible. She couldn't feel the shake from over her, but the dust cloud it made surely did not seem like one that should come from a small child. Even beyond that his arms shouldn't be able to support his weight from that kind of fall. Monster...was he a monster? The beginning stages of some vicious upper level demon. Then he pushed off the ground, no recoil from the drop, nor any pain from it either. He just continued on, as if nothing had happened.
His voice made her flinch, her body almost jolted back in an instant at the sound of it. She was expecting him to attack for some odd reason. Maybe it was fear growing inside of her that made her want to see the worst in him. Could it be her imagination that he had just done that. Her suspicious began to creep slowly back into her mind as he emitted the green aura. Reiatsu, was this reiatsu? Why was there so much, and where did it come from? It wasn't visible before...why now, what was he doing? Did she fall into his plan, calling his buddies to devour her. Were they angry she had gotten away. Thinking back it all did seem planned out, a little boy walking up to a bloody girl. Dragging her back to where you lived and playing hospitable. Wanting to stay with her, travel with her with yearning eyes. They wanted...to eat her.
Her right hand was shaking, several times she had to re-grip her katana to stop it from falling. Why was she so scared of a boy? A kid? No, there was nothing to be afraid of. This kid was just emitting a green aura that is supposed to attract demons to where they are. Nothing was wrong with that, right. Her left hand flickered and materialized a tag in it as Yoshi began to speak. She cut in almost immediately. Eyes wide, several drops of sweat beading off of her face. She cut in as soon a she finished speaking. "WHAT ARE YOU?!" She had seen a lot in her life, but none as weird as this. The limp tag straightened itself after a few seconds of being in her hand. Taking small steps back in case he tried to approach her. This boy was unreal, the pressure exerted by his aura...she could feel it. It was strong, immensely strong. His presence alone could drive a person mad if they could feel such a thing.

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ It had not taken her long to figure out where exactly the place called Karakura was. Japan was a rather large place and she had travelled a distance from where she had been primarily staying. The boat ride was not especially her favorite part of the journey, mainly because it brought back some memories that were not that pleasant. Yet when she had finally made it to the shore she was shocked by what she saw. Not only did the new place look different, but the people did as well. It took her a moment to really take everything in. Her mouth hung open and her eyes widened when she looked up at the tallest building she had ever seen. It was scratching the sky it appeared! Taking in a deep breath she looked then to some of the people who were leaving the boat. She had no idea that airplanes had been invented and it would have been easier and quicker to fly, but she came here by the seas.
The people that were leaving the boat were carrying things like crates and things that didn’t particularly smell good. Her hand reached up and covered her nose and mouth before she could gag. Racing past the dock she began to follow some people. She was following them, because they actually smelled good compared to everyone else. Walking at a steady pace with them she leaned forward and pressed her nose against one of the person’s wrist, taking in the sweet scent that was coming off of her. ”Hmmm, you smell like strawberries.” Closing her eyes she gave out a satisfied sigh and then looked up at the woman who she had smelled. Clearly the woman had never seen a person like her before, because she took a couple steps backward and then proceeded to raise her hand. ”Wait! I was only…” Before she could get out her words, there was a loud “crack” and then a stinging pain that was pulsing against her cheek.
Reaching up she felt her brown skin heat up at the mark and when she touched it, there was a slight pain. Her icy blue eyes looked up at the woman and right away her expression changed. Reaching out to the woman she took her hands into her own and leaned forward, coming into the woman’s personal space. ”Thank you kind lady. You have given me such a welcoming.” Her eyes lit up and she smiled brightly at the woman, hoping for another smack to the face. Yet the woman easily just left her grasps and ran away. The girl had no idea why she had run away, but the whole thing had caused a scene, which she didn’t like. Lowering her head, the black hood that was around her head fell forward and she quickly ran from the corner towards a different location.
Now during the time of her running she did not notice that the scenery began to change and that everything was different. Not different in that she was entering a new world, but different because she was no longer in the city and everything was quiet. Looking up before she made another step she tried to identify where she was. Houses…those were what these structures were called. They “housed” families or people who could afford the luxury of owning such a residence. She looked at one building for a moment more and then changed her attention to something else. Something else smelled sweet and also the fragrance was making her mouth water. Turning her head around she tilted her nose towards the sky and began to take in the scent. ”Was that….No, it couldn’t be.” It of course was, but she never did take the chance of really getting to know what that scent was. But there was another heavy feeling on her shoulders that was beginning to drive her in a different direction. Instead of waiting like she should have, she went off running again. The black cloak she wore easily could have tripped her, but no such luck happened.
When she was near enough a location she began to change her running into leaping. From her spot in the street she used her strong legs to move her ground position into the air. Flying high she landed on a house rooftop and then from there began to leap to the other rooftops. Traveling by rooftop was easier than running it seemed for this girl, because it leads her to her destination almost immediately. Standing on what seemed to be a fence she looked around for a moment more. There were voices and her ears underneath her hood perked at the sounds. A gust of wind then smashed into her face and she had to close her eyes and grab onto the fence so she would not fall to the ground. In the process though her hood had fallen back and revealed a site not normally seen. Her hair was unnaturally white and was longer in front that in back. Then there were the tattoos that were on her face, forming intricate designs on her forehead and side cheeks. But of course were the more noticeable features that set her from the rest. On top of her head were two large pointed black ears and from behind the sign of a black tail could be seen. The white fox mask on top of her head was not a giveaway enough, but people had to constantly ask what she was. Yet this sight of an otherworldly being was rather deceived, because before anybody else could get a good look, she would change.
This is what she did when she spotted the two people who were in the park. One of them was a black haired girl who seemed to be rather annoyed with the boy next to her. Her ears perked up and before any of them could see what happened she had transformed. The signs of her body disappearing happened rapidly and before a blink of an eye. Leaping from her position on the fence she landed on all four of her paws and her white eyes looked at the humans. They would identify her as fox, but she was much more. Her two tails curled behind her and then her mouth opened when she tasted something, something different than before. It was coming from the boy…
Before any other action or mind setting decision could be made she was on her feet again, running towards the boy at what seemed to be lightning speed. Her body was much smaller than her other forming, less bushy and slenderized. She came running from behind the boy and when she finally approached him closely enough she leapt. Like before she flew into the sky, but she would not be going anywhere else. When gravity pulled her down, her front paws had slammed into the boy’s shoulder blades and quickly she threw him to the ground. Standing on top of him she sniffed the side of his neck and then her two tails began to slightly wag. This was what she tasted…reiatsu. This boy in front of her was giving off large amounts and it was delicious! Opening her mouth like a panting dog she sat down on the boy’s back and stayed there pinning him to the ground. She was still the size of a dog, but even still she was made of muscle. Looking up at girl her white eyes looked at her appearance and she whined at her. ”I don’t understand. Why don’t you taste as delicious as him?”
Unlike the movies where talking animal’s mouths would be moving, hers stayed put, yet there was a voice. She waved her tails behind her and then turned her attention to the boy again. He wasn’t moving…did she kill him!? The idea was horrifying enough, but she did not get off of his back, he would force her to. Staying in her smaller fox form she looked at the two humans she had encountered and wondered what they were planning on doing today. Because they had just been discovered by Naiya, the sixth kitsune who had the element of shadow, but loved to play wicked games.▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ "Beauty is ever to the lonely mind a shadow fleeting; she is never plain. Faux-chan seemed to have flinched, she was starting to act really strangely now. First of all, she was shaking real badly, she wasn't even like that when she was all bleeding and she shifted her katana in her hand several times. Not only that, a tag suddenly appeared in her left hand, like on those animes, that uddenly straightened itself. Her eyes stared at him accusingly, and Yoshi found himself shrinking away from those eyes. They were wide in shock and they sent feelings of discomfort, guilt, and hurt throughout him. Those eyes seemed to have been speaking out, accusing him of being a monster. Faux-chan's entire body language was saying so. "F-Faux-chan, are you okay?" Yoshi asked tentatively, taking a step forward towards her, worry in his eyes. However, sweat drops ran down her face as she suddenly screamed at him. "WHAT ARE YOU?!"
A jolt ran throughout Yoshi's small body at those harsh words uttered by someone he thought he could trust, someone whom he thought he was friends with, partners, accomplices. He froze as a large amount of self-awareness began to flood into him. What... what was he? Memories of his first moments of awareness played back like an endless montage of flashbacks. What was he? He had no past, just memories of waking up near the bridge, trudging across it aimlessly, alone, depressed, nameless, a nobody in a world of nobodies. Then, sleeping in the streets, no one would help him, he didn't dare look for help, instead sleeping in this very playground, under that elephant-shaped slide. Then... monsters, ghosts, Shinigami-san. He had another lapse of memory there, going from under the slide cowering in fear to suddenly over the dissipating body of the creature, being clinged to by a young girl with Shinigami-san approaching, sword out.
His naming, it was a name given to him by the mysterious swordsman, before he hadn't even had a name. Nothing to refer to himself as before, he had been filled with joy at that moment, he felt so indebted to Shinigami-san for that one moment, his identity. But that wasn't it. The montage flickered by faster, to the karate dojo. It was his first sparring match and he felt nervous. He was facing someone his own age, a white belt also. The kid was over eager and Yoshi wasn't completely ready, when the instructor started the spar, he charged at Yoshi, wildly throwing punches as he ran. Panicking, primal instincts took over and Yoshi delivered a single kick to the kid's padded chest gear as he ran... and flew backwards into the wall behind him, knocked out unconscious. Suddenly the dojo had been abuzz with talk, the same accusing whispers and looks as the one Faux-chan was giving him, as he could only mutter apologies... After that incident, he was separated from the rest and personally trained by the headmaster and founder of the schools, separated from the others like some sort of plague-ridden victim.
He even got those looks at school. Though the girls often hang out with, or more accurately, around him, he was more there for looks and his 'cuteness' than for any friendship value. The way he quickly skipped so many grades, and the rumors of his power, quickly created a stigmata about him, and he was even feared despite his personality, and children his age refused to play with them while parents took the opportunity to use him as motivation for children to go to sleep or clean their rooms or eat their food. As all of this began to run through Yoshi's head, his physical body had yet to move a single step, his eyes wide open as if frozen in time. Inside his head, the same question repeated over and over, what WAS he? Other voices began to pitch in along with it. WHO was he? Why? When? Where? How? Slowly, overwhelmed, Yoshi felt his knees slowly begin to give as his hands slowly rose to his head, to his ears, as if trying to cover them from this revelation, his eyes had yet to blink since the moment Faux-chan had yelled at him as the ground slowly rose towards him.
Bam! Oh, the sharp impact on the ground, his head smashing into it the ground, his eyes had finally blinked instinctively before impact. Slowly, the voices in his head began to fade out as the world, similar to when he had first awoken. Everyone began to slowly return to him... He was... at the park? With... Faux-chan? Yeah and... what was on his back? A hot breath went down his neck as goosebumps were suddenly raised all along him. To his left and right where... paws on his shoulders, one for each. Black ones. Was there a dog on him? Yoshi sighed in relief, he liked animals! He was about to try to roll over to pet it or play with it when a voice began to project from the thing above him, taste as delicious... Was it going to eat him?!
Sudden fear and anxiety shot through Yoshi's body as he struggled to free himself from the creature's grasp, but it was surprisingly strong. The imagined, or maybe it wasn't, feel of its hot breath on his back only served to increase his anxiety and his struggles. Then, taking a deep breath, Yoshi began to think. Think! He hadn't been trained for nothing! That was right! While the creature was sitting on him, Yoshi began to draw his knees in, his elbows were in a strange position, but he managed to get them underneath himself too. His head was throbbing with a suddenly realized pain, as if it had just remembered that it should hurt after the sharp and sudden impact with the ground. Quickly, Yoshi simply rolled over, rather quickly, to throw off whatever it was off his back. By pulling in his knees and elbows, he had made his back an unstable platform and his quick movement was enough to throw that creature off his back. Not only, it was done in under two seconds, due to his training, and soon Yoshi spun himself afterwards as the creature fell off his back to give it an extra slam as his right hand touched it, falling towards his right, and exerted extra force on it, slamming down the creature... fox? Momentarily he was frozen as he looked the thing, on its back, straight in its pure white eyes. It was the skinniest fox he had ever seen.
Yoshi's child-like instincts briefly overrode his combat ones, was it hurt? Was it getting enough food? Sleep? Was it wild or did it has a place to live? Was it really going to eat him? And with that, combat made retook control as Yoshi grabbed it's two paws and pushed them down to either side so that they could not scratch at him. "Who are you?" Yoshi asked the fox-like creature, his voice filled with more curiosity than any other emotion. It appeared that he was in control of the current situation and he could react accordingly to whatever this talking fox-thing would do next. Again, his more child-like side kicked in, as a barrage of questions now erupted from him. "What are you? What's your name? Are you hungry? Is that why you wanted to eat me? Are you from around here?" Yoshi let out seemingly irrelevant questions, but his curiosity had to be satisfied! Though his grip hadn't weakened in strength and he was still apparently in control, Yoshi wasn't all that heavy and grappling was not his strong suit...

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Her eyes scanned over him as he stood, watching his every movement as he stared at her. What was this face he was making, still playing innocent apparently. How could he continue something so ignorant, she had already seen his abilities. It was only mocking her to continue being the small child she thought he was. No, if she wanted to have any chance of conquering him she'd have to toss aside his looks. He had the strength to carry her by himself, she believed that now. it wasn't a ploy to impress her. He was simply strong enough to perform such a task. Unreal, it took some of the strongest boys back at her temple to lift her easily. As they were so young their bodies were more or less the same, the boys could just hold more muscle. Nonetheless, even with all her might she might have struggled to pick up someone as small as Yoshi. But he did her so easily, the difference in strength alone caused her unease, but now he had this aura.
This green aura, Reiatsu. It was used to call demons or something with substantial power. Were they all like him, no they weren't. She had seen the black demons that were much weaker. She had even managed to defeat a few of them, even if she paid a price for such a thing. So what was he calling, and what was he doing now. Unknowing in her own thought her gaze had shifted towards the ground, it now rested upon Yoshi once more. His eyes seemed detached from the idles of this world for the moment. Was he in thought to, was he thinking about what to do with this girl who had found him out? She'd have to run, it was the only thing she could think of but her legs wouldn't move. The ridicule she'd suffer being terrified by a single child. It was as if all of her senses shut down except for sight, watching Yoshi in case he made any sudden movements. Her body being ready to react, but not move by its own will. Her fate was left to the actions of a small boy, and the instincts her own body held.
Then came the gust of wind that slammed into her face, whisking her hair to the side. The slight bits of fabric that hung from her clothing swayed along with it, but she didn't move. No she didn't budge from her stance, nor did she blink. She was fixated on Yoshi, who now seemed to be in just as much mind wrenching pain as her. His eyes were just as wide, it wasn't that of a killer...he was scared? Was he scared too? Had she jumped to a conclusion, surely she heard tales of great ninjas that performed superhuman feats. Was it because he was so young that she couldn't accept him to be the same way. He could have just been a blessed child, right? Even if she said it in her mind it never seemed correct to her. Everything continuously pointed towards him being some sort of demon. But she didn't want to believe that anymore, just look at him. His hands clutching the sides of his head with so much pain. His life seemed to have tortured him with something, and her words had only worsened it. Was this what a mother felt when she saw her child crying. Would she slowly die inside to know that her son was held at bay from her, to know that she couldn't embrace him in her arms. She wanted to, on some level, hug Yoshi and take back whatever she had said. But her mind wouldn't let it go, he was dangerous.
Then her heart would sink as the blur of black landed atop Yoshi and he hit the ground. Everything she had just felt left instantly as he was attacked by this animal, she only wanted one thing. This one thing her mind set on flawlessly with no wavering. She wanted to protect him. This boy of whom she had previously dropped all trust for, whom she was just scared of. The one whom her heart cried out for was just attacked, and she didn't like it. She wouldn't stand for such an action in her presence. What kind of fox was this, it's body was much smaller...and it had two tails. Nibi? Did Yoshi call this with his reiatsu? Didn't matter it needed to get off, but she would be caught short in her run and freeze at the sound of the voice. The fox made no motions to move its mouth, but it was apparent that the voice began from their. Why don't you taste as delicious as him? Was this thing planning on eating Yoshi? Because Faux had brought him here on her on selfish quest for stronger beings.
Faux stretched her left arm over towards her right side, holding the katana in her right hand back so she could rush forward. She spun the seal in her left hand as she picked up speed towards the fox on Yoshi's back. "Getoff" Thud Before her sentence could end Yoshi had flipped the fox off his back and slammed into it with his own hand, before climbing on top of the small creature to restrain it. Taking it's two forepaws in his hands before asking it an assortment of questions. His curiosity taking over all else as the onslaught of questions escaped his mouth. He was alright, the sensation was nothing short of a relief. Apparent by the smile she had on her face, sliding to a stop behind Yoshi and the small fox. He forgot to restrain the hind legs, and those by far were much more powerful than the two front. As well holding onto any canine's forelegs made you within range of a bite, these were not things that she thought of at this moment though, all she thought was 'He's alright'
The beings that existed within this world stretched beyond what she had ever known. She seemed to meet more and more of them as time progressed, she had picked a good place to come and hone her skills. Perhaps her Sensei knew that when she had come. The varying occurrences here from the Hollows, black as the night sky and bones crafted from masks. These fox people with power over the elements, some strong enough to destroy an entire bridge at their own will. Small boys, innocent boys, with the power not only to protect themselves but also those around them. And now this small black fox with the ability to project its voice. Funny how disconnected she was from it all, even as her thoughts flooded with all these beings. They were all pushed aside with the image of Yoshi. Shining brighter in her mind than any of those beasts ever could. He's alright

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Naiya was slightly more entertained then she should have been. Not only was she enjoying the sweet scent that was coming off of the boy, but it seemed as if she had caught the two of them off guard. If foxes could smile, she would be right at this moment. Moving her body just slightly she rested her nose next to the boy’s ear and began to sniff his blonde hair. The reiatsu covered up more of the scent than his human one. But it wasn’t that which was making her senses almost blurry, it was his soul. She had devoured enough of them to know or not which ones were good or disgusting. Shinigami, hollows, those were the souls that did not appeal to her tastes. They were majority of the time bitter and tasted like spoiled eggs. Human souls that weren’t tainted were always the best she had to admit, but she wouldn’t kill mercilessly just for a meal.
Feeling the boy’s body go slightly rigid she lifted her head up and slightly tilted it. What was he thinking? Nayai looked up at the girl next and saw that she had a strange expression on her face. Before she had arrived no doubt these two were talking about something important. The look on her face showed fear and also a restraining thought of some kind. Her white eyes looked at her apparel and it looked as if the girl was a ninja of some sort. Nayai loved ninjas! Not only did they use her element, but they also played some good games of cards. Everyone cheated and if you were caught then it ended in a bloody battle. She wondered now if the girl wanted to play cards or if she had any cards. Maybe they would have to go to the store first and pick some up and the boy could join in as well. A three way match was much better than just two playing, plus it would be fun to see who would be able to cheat the best. She was about to ask the question if they wanted to join her game, but then felt the boy shift underneath her.
Looking down she saw his shoulders bunch together and then felt a quick shift in her own weight. Her body was tossed off of his and she landed on her feet, but was then caught off guard in another second. The boy had slammed his arm into her which caused her to fall over, but then her front paws were being secured down so she could not use them. She looked down at his hands and his stance as he towered over her. Hmmm, he did restrain her front paws but she still had her back legs and teeth available. Yet she hadn’t come here for a fight…well unless they wanted one of course. It didn’t seem like they wanted one either, because the way the boy was securing onto her legs it seemed as if he just wanted to make sure she did not lash out at him. Nayai’s white eyes concentrated on his face and then she moved her head slightly in the grass to look at the girl. The ninja girl was holding something similar to a sword and what seemed to be a seal. ”If you don’t mind, could you keep that seal away from me? I don’t want to lose all of the souls I have devoured in my life time, because that would make me quite hungry.” Seals were not very good protection against forces like Nayai, but they were a pain compared to a person like her. Emblems, seals, beads, spells those were all used for protection or some form of extraction, it was just Nayai would lose the souls she had eaten and she had earned those souls.
She couldn’t hold her concentration on this girl for very long though, because the boy began to ask a lot of questions when he had pinned her to the ground. Her tall ears perked up and she thought about his first question. ”My name? Now that is a funny question. I should like to ask you that as well. Who are you? “ Again it seemed as if a grin appeared on her face as she opened her mouth to try and make a noise that sounded like laughing. Her tails kept wagging behind her and the grass underneath her was nice and warm. She liked this park, compared to the cold steel of the ship she had been on. Looking at him still she saw his expression fade to what she liked in a soul. He was young and happy, maybe joyful. Nayai liked those qualities. Remembering his other questions she nodded and began to think about how to answer them.
His first question was what she was. That was simple. ”I’m a kitsune, formed from the spirit of a fox who had also been created by the forces of shadow. Kitsune are commonly known as mischievous spirits who like to wear their appearance as humans or foxes. Common folk lore in Japan they rarely show themselves in their natural form unless those of lost spirits appear before them. I was a lost soul. Not really fun being lost, but I was found by a kitsune and here I am now.” The stupid memory of how she had been created wanted to resurface, but maybe another day she would tell someone how she was created. His next question was… ”My name is Nayai and what are the both of your names?” She even turned her head to look over at the ninja girl who had shown up beside the boy. She wanted to know their names, because calling them boy and girl didn’t sound right in her head. As she starred at the girl it felt like she knew something about what was going on. Did she know about kitsune? Had either one of them seen them recently? Even though Nayai was a solitary person, or fox, she at least wanted to know if her kind was still around.
Then she remembered she was answering twenty questions and answered them. ”Nope, nopedy, nope. I wasn’t going to eat you. Why do people think that…it’s because I look vicious right?” Pulling back her lips she exposed her canines and gave a growl, making the fur on the back of her neck stand on end. She stopped before she actually scared herself. ”I only said you smelled delicious, because your soul sounds appetizing. But I don’t eat living souls, so you’re good. Hers doesn’t smell that good because she is having trust issues right now which makes her feel uncertain about what is going on. If she lets go of that feeling, I’m sure she would taste as good as you. Oh and also, you should stop leaking reiatsu. Shinigami or hollows might appear and I can’t help you guys out if you are restraining my front paws.”
From behind her two tails curled up and she rested them against her underbody, covering up the lighter side of her body. Nayai laid her head against the ground when the next question came. ”No. I’m from Africa.” Was all she said to his last question, she didn’t feel like answering that as fully as she could. Her white eyes peered up again and she thought about the questions she wanted to ask them. Maybe they could explain to her why it was so quiet around her and why it smelled like three different scents at once. But she thought of another idea. Feeling his arms lighten up on her she looked at the tip of his hair. Using her neck muscles she reached up and her front teeth grabbed his hair, pulling his head down. Then quickly the two bushy sides of her tail pressed up against his face, smothering him. ”Now, can you let go of me? Actually, let me.” Her teeth let go of his hair and then like a blanket covering a child, her tails covered her body and then using her element, the shadows swallowed her whole and she disappeared.
”That was a quick technique you had used on me to pin me to the ground, but learn your opponent first.” Nayai’s body then appeared behind where they had just been. She was sitting on her back legs and was licking one of her paws. Her tails was curled underneath her and it did not appear as if she had just been pinned underneath the boy just a moment ago. Opening her eyes she looked at them closely and then hopefully they would be able to see that hint of a foxey smile. ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ "Beauty is ever to the lonely mind a shadow fleeting; she is never plain. Yoshi’s glanced towards where Faux-chan was after he had finished with this fox creature. She had said something in his general direction around the time he had turned the tables on this fox-like creature and Yoshi didn’t completely catch what she said. When his face caught hers too, he couldn’t help but let out a smile too, smiling along with Faux-chan this time as she slid behind him and the fox-like creature. Faux-chan didn’t look like she had a few moments ago, dangerously unstable. Now she looked happy and… relieved? Could it be that she had been worried about him? Yoshi felt his heart lift at that part, Faux-chan wasn’t like the rest, she cared about him! Yoshi would have gone and hugged her if he wasn’t holding down this fox-like creature.
He had no way of pinning down its back feet but he didn’t think he would need to and though it’s face was close to him, Yoshi was pretty fast though, faster than any human had the right to be. Then the fox-like creature turned towards Faux-chan and Yoshi’s grip tightened slightly, in case it was going to try anything like attack her, he wouldn’t let Faux-chan get hurt! Instead, it merely began to speak… without opening its mouth. The fox-creature was… how do you say… projecting its voice? Was that the right word? The fox-like creature then went ahead and said something about seals, souls, and hungers. Although he couldn’t very well turn to look at Faux-chan, he assumed the creature meant the scroll thing on her back?
Wait, this thing ate souls? Did that make it… evil? Yoshi wasn’t sure; his sense of justice, good, and evil hadn’t been completely influenced by television, comic books, and such. He barely had any time to look over it, and it was usually briefly. Manga had yet to interest him and he had better things to do than watch TV all day and night. At least the computer was a useful multi-tool. He mind was starting to wander though, but he was quickly brought back as the fox creature resumed its… voice projection. It didn’t really answer his question, but if foxes could grin this one definitely was. Then it opened its mouth, revealing its sharp teeth and causing Yoshi to flinch a bit as a harsh noise emitted from its mouth. The noise seemed jovial though, in fact the very thing underneath him seemed as if it meant him no harm as the harsh noise kept emitting. Could it be… laughing? At him?
Before Yoshi had the time to even begin responding to the creature’s counter-question, it began to answer his own questions. Wow, he was surprised it remembered everything, Yoshi himself barely could. He began to listen carefully as this… kitsune, began to answer all of his questions, filing them away so he could easily remember and recall them if he needed to. Wait, a kitsune? Kitsu… kitsune? Was this one of the things Faux-chan had been searching for? Twisting his body a bit, Yoshi gave Faux-chan a quick, knowing glance before concentrating back on this… kitsune. Ahh, now it gave them a chance to introduce themselves. Looking down at it, Yoshi replied, “My name is Sasaki Yoshiro, but everyone calls me Yoshi. Nice to meet you, Naiya-chan.” The ‘nice to meet you’ was almost pure instinct on Yoshi’s part, he actually wasn’t too sure what to make of this kitsune. Yes, he had heard of them occasionally, but he barely had any knowledge about them, folklore had yet to interest him, though it might start to now.
Yoshi would let Faux-chan introduce herself too, it was only common courtesy, even though he wanted to introduce her, he restrained himself and then waited, the kitsune, Naiya, seemed to have more to say and answer too. That was good too, Naiya wasn’t going to eat him, Yoshi was going to let her go when Naiya revealed her teeth in a threatening way and began to growl at him, the thought of letting her go at the point all but ran for the hills. Oh good, she didn’t eat living souls…. And… he smelled good? “Uhm, thank you?” Yoshi said in response to that, he really didn’t know how to take that compliment about how he smelled, though it seemed that Faux-chan had trust issues? Yoshi wasn’t sure, but she sure looked pretty happy moments ago, so he wasn’t really going to delve into personal matters and ask about that.
Oh, right, his reiatsu was still leaking out. Following Naiya’s advice, Yoshi went introspective for a moment and soon the pressure he had exerted began to dry up like a faucet being turned off slowly. “Huh? Shinigamis are good people though, aren’t they?” Yoshi said quizzically as he cocked his head slightly. Shinigami-san was, not a close friend but a good acquaintance of his and he didn’t see why he would need help against a Shinigami, though the Hollow part made sense, sort of. And Naiya was from Africa? What was she doing all the way here in Japan then? Wow, she sure had come along way though, he wondered how she had sneaked onto the boat or airplane or car or whatever she used to get here.
Suddenly, unexpectedly, Naiya’s head moved forward and her mouth opened, a wave of fear hit Yoshi again as it looked as if she was going to bite his face, but then his hair got caught as the fox pulled his head down. Yoshi could’ve gotten out of it, sure, but he would’ve lost quite a bit of hair and that was painful! Soon, two busy tails, Naiya had two tails wow, brushed by his face and held it closely. Although he didn’t notice it right away, it felt as if the oxygen content was going down and he was being smothered. Naiya then asked him to let her go, of course! Yoshi had completely forgotten, his hands loosen their grip on her right before the second part of her projected words hit him. Suddenly, Naiya let go of his hair and her tails came away from his face, wrapping around her instead.
Yoshi’s eyes blinked a few times as suddenly he felt himself falling to the ground as Naiya just… disappeared! Quickly, Yoshi got back to his feet and stood nearby, slightly in front of Faux-chan, as he heard Naiya’s voice again. If that was the Headmaster talking, it would’ve came out in a scolding, but it appeared like Naiya was just joking around with him. Facing her, she was sitting on her hind legs and licking one of her paws, and Yoshi felt a feeling of… well… mischief and slight happiness originate from her, especially the look in Naiya’s eyes. Unless she was faking, which was always a probability but Yoshi wasn’t going to think too hard on that, Yoshi doubted Naiya was going to try to kill them and he let his guard down, backing up a step to closer to Faux-chan.
Yoshi, somewhat childishly, then used both of his hands to snake around Faux-chan’s right arm, it was supposed to be the unhurt one, and leaned slightly on it, his cheek brushing against her arm lightly. Yoshi just felt… safe and happy with Faux-chan around, like she was the first person to ever truly care for him. She had said that thing earlier, but Yoshi was a child and he would be more than happy to overlook that as he slightly rubbed his cheek against her arm before glancing over at Naiya. “Hey, Naiya-chan, do you have a place to stay at then?” Yoshi asked, seemingly out of the blue. She was from Africa, right? Yoshi didn’t know how long ago she arrived, but her words seemingly implied recently. If Naiya didn’t have anywhere to stay Yoshi would be happy to let her stay at his Studio! He was a child and of course, extremely kind hearted.

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Seal? Was she talking about the paper bomb Faux held in her hand. Of course, it did resemble a seal of sorts. it had a Kanji inscribed upon it in any case. But the soult hing caused quite a bit of unease in her. She almost felt her stomach turn at the mere thought of devouring souls. Was that what she had come here for, to eat Yoshi's soul? If that was what this little demon thought it was going to do it had something else coming. She'd destroy it long before it got the chance. Though she knew she was scared, she wanted to rip Yoshi away from the small fox and run, or at least get him away while she fended it off. Shifting attention to the tag bomb for a few moments she looked it over. If the fox was indeed afraid of this then it could possibly come in more handy than it's original purpose.
Then it would begin to answer Yoshi's questions. Each answer coming out fluidly with no hesitation. What kind of beast would gladly hand over every bit of information it could think of about itself. Of course Yoshi would believe it but Faux couldn't help but continuously think of every word as a lie. Though her response to what she was, seemed completely obvious. A blind person could tell she was a Kitsune. Even a small bit of background at what the species actually was, this wasn't so suspicious. This was common knowledge that most knew about the species, even if they were fictional. Her eyes stayed focused on the small demon of a fox, it was a little to happy for something pinned to the ground. Catching Yoshi's glance, it was a little funny to see him serious. It looked more cartoony then reality, but she suppressed her smile.
Coughing up its name willfully and then asking for theirs. Yoshi responded, but Fau x felt no need to give her name. Simply because she didn't feel safe around this creature, she wasn't comfortable at all. So only silence echoed after Yoshi's name, a soft eerie silence broken soon by the continuous chant of the fox. So, it wasn't going to eat him? So it was sniffing and speaking of how he smelled good so it could not eat him right? And by what means would someone ever consider a fox vicious? Maybe slamming a small boy into the ground and sniffing him? Baring your fangs could also be a dead giveaway. Not only that but projecting your voice was not something that any person did let alone a fox. And that snarl she did wasn't any better. She found herself flinching along with Yoshi at the mere sight of it. Animals always seemed to have ferocious looking mouths even without trying. So, no there was nothing vicious or menacing about this fox. They thought you'd eat them because you looked pretty. The statement forced her to sharpen her eyes at the beast, she was sure Nayai had a good grasp of why people thought she would eat them.
Though she made somewhat of a good point, if beasts were attracted to reiatsu they did have to think it was tasty. But the relief was that it didn't eat living souls, whatever that really meant. She couldn't help but get somewhat ticked and jealous at the thought that her soul didn't seem appetizing. Not that she wanted her soul to be eaten, but it was just as good a soul as anyone else's. Why in any universe was hers not the same tastiness as Yoshi's. Her soul had lived through more to her knowledge, and she had undergone training to strengthen herself, but of allt hings her trust issues made her unappealing. Forgive her for not trusting mini hulk and chibi two tails here. You don't meet supernatural creations like them everyday. Having forgotten about the reiatsu she was somewhat thankful to the beast for bringing it back up. In their current situation they really didn't need to attract anything else, unless they were already on the way and in that case there was nothing that could be done. Yoshi questioning what she had said almost immediately as she had said it. To her it would be seen whether or not Shinigami's could be trusted. As it sat now she didn't feel as if there were to many trustworthy things at all.
Tensing as the fox wrenched its neck forward and grabbed Yoshi's hair between it's teeth. Asking him to let go, but it was very clearly clinging to Yoshi now. Why would he let go? So you can finish smothering him with your tails. She rushed forward to try and relieve the fox but as she neared the fox vanished into...darkness..nothing was there anymore. Her eyes snapped wide at the sound of the fox behind them, she spun quickly pointing the sela in her left hand at the beast. A numbness rushing through her arm that she ignored for the most part.
She turned the katana in her right hand inward as Yoshi grabbed it and began rubbing his face against her. Her eyes still did not move away from the foxlike creature. Yoshi was again being his innocent self worrying about whether or not this creature had a place to stay. What was with him? Did he not see this supernatural beast before them? If she really was a Kitsune, could she be with the humanlike ones that destroyed the bridge? And if so...her eyes shot open at this revelation. if she was with them, what chance would Faux have of defeating someone with their type of power. Nonetheless she would try, if it mean Yoshi could get away. "Yoshi, don't be so trusting. You saw what the Kitsune did to the bridge!" Her wide eyes rested upon Yoshi as she spoke, but quickly shifted back to Nayai. "And you demon! Stay away, or I will banish you!" An empty threat, her paper bomb wa sno real type of seal, but if she could continue the facade long enough it could become a true asset.

▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ Nayai had heard the boy’s name after she had gotten out of his grasp. Placing her paw on the ground she starred at them for a brief moment. The girl seemed older than Yoshi and that protective look in her eyes was proof enough. Naiya had noticed that the girl hadn’t given her name, which was understandable. Trust was earned through getting to know the person. Even if she, as a kitsune, had answered all of Yoshi’s questions in their full truth, many people did not trust foxes in general. Sneaky creatures they were called, tricksters and those who led others astray, were what kitsune were. Nayai tried to live up to that name at times, but she was more affiliated with those of the dead rather than the living. Looking at the position that the two of them were in she turned her head slightly.
They did not appear to have similar body traits or personality traits either. So they were not related. Yet Yoshi was holding onto the girl’s arm like she was an older sibling. Sitting there on her hind legs she let a moment of silence pass as she tried to figure out the kind of situation that they were in. It appeared as if she had frightened them slightly when she had escaped from Yoshi’s grasp. Well of course that would frighten them! After all it was not every day that you met a fox who could suddenly disappear and also talk. Her head was still tilted towards the side slightly and her pointy ears fell back to rest on her head. She didn’t want to frighten them, especially since she had just met them. Yet the girl seemed to have already made a decision that she was a demon rather than a friend.
Down casting her eyes she brought her tails around her tighter and seemed to disappear again in a ball of fur. Yoshi was being nice enough to offer her a place to stay, but she couldn’t stay. The ninja girl had stated that other kitsune had been here previously, which meant either good news or bad news for her current state. Good news was that she could join back with them and get to know them even more. Nayai remembered some of them, but not all. The bad news was, she was currently talking to humans and probably causing some kind of trouble one way or another. Both ways it felt like she would be punished one way or another, and it was probably the type of punishment she didn’t like. She lowered her tails just a little bit to peer over them, her eyes looking at the both of them. They were both hanging onto each other, even the girl wasn’t hanging onto Yoshi she had the appearance that she was hanging onto a thread of him to protect. Nayai’s eyes then immediately went to the ninja girl’s expression when she mentioned being banished. ”No, no, no! No need for that. I’ll- I’ll, go hide first!”
Jumping to all fours quickly she began to scan the area. They were in a park after all and there were plenty of places to hide. Nayai’s head looked up and down, side to side to try and fide some location. There were plenty of shadows from underneath the trees and swing sets. Wait, she knew the perfect spot! Turning her back on the two of them she darted away from their position and then ran to the slide that had the appearance of a tyrannosaurus rex. How she knew what the heck that was, she had no idea. But racing around its side she hid underneath the actual part of the slide. Falling on her stomach she placed her paws over her face and then covered her body with her tails. Yes, this was the perfect disguise.
When she was in that small space though her thoughts went immediately to what the ninja girl had said before. A bridge had been destroyed by other kitsune’s, which meant that they had been here. She had smelled their scent from earlier, but there were others mixed in with them. Yoshi had said that the shinigami were good, but were they really? Nayai had never met them before outside of a position that was similar to battle and… From her hiding spot her fur shivered in memory and she was giving her position away. She was no good at playing hide and seeks, but the girl had threatened to banish her. If she had that kind of power, she was like Uncas!
Closing her eyes tightly her fox head turned back and forth as she tried not to think about anybody. Not here, not where it seemed she was having fun for once in such a long lifetime. Her body that seemed to be the size of a medium dog grew smaller until she appeared to be the size of smaller dog. It wasn’t that her body was changing it was the shadows that were eating away at her somehow. Her fur grew slightly darker and she buried her muzzle deeper into the dirt. No, she didn’t want to think about them! Nayai shook her head and then her body disappeared once again. No longer was she under the dinosaur shaped slide, but had changed to a rather weird location.
With her body being such a small size the shadows had used her unwanted thoughts to transport her somewhere that she did want to be. Yoshi was holding onto the ninja girl and nuzzling his face into her arm, but the top of his head was still free. A black spot first appeared on top of his blonde hair and then quickly Nayai was curled up in a small little ball on top of his head, her two tails curled over her. When she opened her white eyes she looked up at the ninja girl and sadly said, ”Looks like I lost the game.” There was no hint of happiness in her voice this time and she laid her head back down into Yoshi’s hair. ”I do have a place to be. But I don’t want to go there, not yet at least.” Bringing her paws closer to her face she covered the tip of her nose and then through the corner of her eyes looked up at the ninja girl. She was scary when she was taller than Nayai and that scroll of hers didn’t look that friendly either. Maybe…maybe they could get along somehow. She hoped that they could or at least come to an understanding of each other. Yoshi was nice and his head was warm, but why was he asking her if she had a place to stay?▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ ▂▂▂▂▂▂▂▂ "Beauty is ever to the lonely mind a shadow fleeting; she is never plain. Faux-chan didn’t seem to overly mind Yoshi clinging to her like so, but he did stop rubbing his left cheek against her arm after a bit. It seemed like Faux-chan was really interested in Nayai, keeping a sharp gaze on her even despite Yoshi’s close proximity to Faux-chan, he would be sure to protect her if anything happened, although Nayai seemed like a nice fox kitsune person and very playful, which Yoshi was somewhat glad of. He hated getting into fights and such and he really disliked hurting others. Hollows hardly counted, he had become somewhat… insensitive to them since he had experience Hollows and their evil deeds before.
Suddenly Yoshi could feel Faux-chan tense up slightly as if she had just realized something. Looking up at Faux-chan’s face, still clinging to her arm. She then went to address him and told him to… not be so trusting? But he wasn’t being overly trusting he was usually like this! Besides, Nayai looked like a nice kitsune, Yoshi was sure she wouldn’t do anything bad; she was just like a kid! Wait, the bridge was the kitsune’s fault? It hardly made sense to Yoshi as his thoughts raced, how could somebody destroy a bridge so big like that? He hadn’t been asleep for too long, had he? It… how powerful were they to destroy a bridge?
Then Faux-chan then went ahead and threatened Nayai, calling her a demon! But… she was so nice, how could she be a demon? And wait that was a banishing seal? She had pulled it out at him, hadn’t she? Was Faux-chan going to banish him too? No! She wouldn’t! Yoshi felt himself subconsciously tighten his grip on her arm, he didn’t want Nayai to be banished, that would be so mean to someone so nice and playful! A mixed expression was dancing around Yoshi’s face, Faux-chan cared for him but she was threatening Nayai with banishment! Couldn’t they all get to know each other and be friends? Yoshi was beginning to feel very worried, a light-hearted feeling in his chest at what would happen next.
Then Nayai, who had turned into a ball of fur, began to say she would run away and she jumped onto all fours and darted away. Yoshi’s right foot shuffled slightly, as if it wanted to chase after Nayai, but he was still clinging to Faux-chan and he didn’t think she would approve of him chasing Nayai. A slight pang of sadness rose through Yoshi as this kitsune he had just met ran off and disappeared. She had headed in the direction of the dinosaur slide and hid there. Yoshi glanced slightly upwards to Faux-chan, a bit of longing to chase after Nayai in his eyes. He had made a new friend out of Faux-chan and he wanted more of them! Nayai looked like a good friend and she could pass off as a pet!
Yes though, it was true that Yoshi was likely too nice, kind, and innocent for his own good, but, being so young, he had this habit of metaphorically absorbing the feelings of people around him, positive feelings affected him positively, negative feelings negatively. Faux-chan was so nice and caring and Nayai was fun and playful so Yoshi was feeling quite jovial, but Faux-chan, like Nayai said earlier, seemed to be very distrustful of other people while Yoshi was overly trustful. He really wanted Nayai and Faux-chan to be friends! But, it seemed as if she would disappear too, like Faux-chan had said she herself would have to leave when they first met… Wait, maybe that meant Nayai wouldn’t leave them! That thought brought a happy look on Yoshi’s face as he seemingly straightened his slumped shoulders, to anyone else it looked average, a child getting randomly happy, but Yoshi was very expectant.
And yay! There it was! Yoshi suddenly felt a weight appear on his head that seemed to be moving around in his long hair. She had come back! But… she seemed kind of sad when she said she had lost the game… Which reminded Yoshi. “Darn, I just lost the game.” He muttered under his breath, it was a game his classmates often played and though it seemed to be pointless, he still played along since it was funny to see everyone react to it too. Also, again, he was a child and games were fun! When Nayai said she had a place to go but didn’t want to go there, Yoshi felt both happy and, strangely, sad at the same time. He was happy for Nayai, that meant she had people to be with and she could stay with him! But it also meant that Nayai was going to have to leave to go to that place, and that meant leave Yoshi and Faux-chan!
Untangling his arms from Faux-chan’s arm, Yoshi reached up to grab hold of Nayai gently with both hands and then pulled her down to chest level, cradling her in his left arm, like a person would a baby, while his right hand pet Nayai on the head. She was really smooth and silky and her fur felt really soft, almost as if it wasn’t there yet… it was. It seemed like Nayai had shrunk in size too, wow did that mean she could grow larger? Yoshi didn’t know but he was sure she would tell them. Instead, he was happy that she was still with them and, similar to what he had done to Faux-chan’s arm, he snuggled the small, fox-like creature against his cheek briefly before bringing her back down to chest level.
Nayai was so cute too when she was small! That was one of the reasons why Yoshi was cradling her. The other was he was afraid that Faux-chan would try to attack her or something, he didn’t want them to fight! And here was a chance to bring it up too! “Hey Nayai-chan, if you don’t want to go there you can stay with me- us before you go too!” Yoshi said happily, bubbly, as he remembered to include Faux-chan. He wasn’t sure if Faux-chan still planned on leaving but he sure hoped she wouldn’t be! Then the three of them could live together, that would be awesome! After his offer, Yoshi went back to petting Nayai chan lightly, she seemed almost fragile like this.

 ____Arielle Faux____ "…Ninja Art…"
Her threats of banishment seemed to have struck a nerve within Yoshi. The tightening grip of his was slowly cutting off circulation in her arm. Was he aware that he was doing this. No, probably not. His eyes were filled with worry for this creature. Did he care so much for something he had just met? She had met several children in her day but none of them as trusting as him. Then again, all the children she had met were raised exactly like her. Each were taught to be suspicious of those you did not know, and be wary of those you do. It was a constant struggle with trust when it came to being a ninja, to be wary of even your allies. But, she didn't feel that way about Yoshi, at least not at this moment.
”No, no, no! No need for that. I’ll- I’ll, go hide first!” That was fine with her, by all means go and hide if it meant that you would be pushed further away. She kept her eyes on the small creature as well, watching it jump to its feet. Scanning its surroundings, primitive animal instincts. Though they wer enot bad ones, that was something Faux herself was taught during her very own training. A ninja was a silent killer, and knowing one's surroundings quickly and efficiently was a guaranteed way to maintain one's life. She heard Yoshi begin to move and quickly looked down upon him with a stern stare, he seemed to stop himself. from going after the fox. Though it probably wasn't by his own doing, he probably only stayed because of the way she acted towards it.
She looked back up to see she had lost sight of the fox. How stupid of her to get distracted. Well, wat least it was gone now. That was one problem dealt with for the time being. "Yo.." Her speech cut off abruptly when she looked upon Yoshi. He was still looking at where the fox had gone. He had trailed the little creature everywhere it went, did he really want a friend that badly? Maybe, just maybe if she would have thought about it earlier. What if Yoshi did not have many friends. If they all treated him the way she did when she first found out about his strength. What kid would want to be friends with someone who could crush them easily. Things like that were far from normal, and would only have him seem as a monster.
She looked away from Yoshi to where he stared, at the dinosaur slide. What an absolutely idiotic place to hide, that if that wa sin fact where it was hiding. Okay, say Yoshi did have a hard childhood. One that would no doubt continue seeing as he was still very young. He probably learned tot rust others easily because very few trusted him, and he wanted them to like him as soon as possible. Every friend would count, perhaps her negative attitude would only be a burden to the small Yoshi. It still didn't mean she trusted that fox, but for Yoshi's sake she would try. She didn't have to be allies with the fox to be friends, but Yoshi needed them. At least that is what she thought. So it'd be something for him and only him, no amount of trust would go into this relationship. This was the resolve she had come to.
As the fox reappeared Faux snatched her left arm upward and stopped, had she already forgotten what she just promised herself. With a flick of her fingers the paper bomb seemed to peel away to nothing in the air, weird right? She then grabbed the katana from her right hand and sheathed it. Her right arm still going numb from Yoshi's vice grip that he had yet to release from her. Really, the boy needed to come back to Earth more often. Despite whatever his imagination told him, it was a lot safer here on the ground then up in those clouds.
As Yoshi released her arm she began to rub it with her left hand. Trying to get everything circulating properly. The sharp stings in her fingers were highly unpleasant, she would have hated to have been still holding her katana when that feeling came about. No doubt she would have dropped it on the spot, not that dropping a sword was so bad, she just didn't want to be seen as someone who couldn't handle her weapon. As Yoshi spoke his peace about her staying Faux felt compelled to confirm it as well. Maybe it would ease both Yoshi and...Nayai? "Yes please stay...with us. My name is Faux[Foe]" She didn't look at either of them as she spoke, probably a dead giveaway that she didn't mean what she said, but she was at least willing to try. That accounted for something, right?
Not to mention having a kitsune close could further connect them to the others, and possibly this spiritual being would draw them closer and closer to whatever fascinating world there was that humans could not tread. A whole world filled with enemies that would prove more than worthy for Faux to test her skills. Beyond all that she didn't want to leave Yoshi because of one animal. Keep your friends close. And the more she thought about it, if she could befriend this fox on some level perhaps it would do more good than harm. Enemies closer. That phrase made the most sense at this point in time.
