Welcome Hufflepuffs!
Here is our Common Room. This is the place where we talk about
everything about Hufflepuff. Role-play and learn the history of
Helga Hufflepuff. Post around the Common Room, create House
Games and make friends. This is YOUR common room so do
whatever you want with it.

House Information
HUFFLEPUFF COMMON ROOM
The Hufflepuff Basement is located behind a still-life portrait
near the kitchens of Hogwarts Castle. A password is required to
enter it, which is spoken to the portrait. A hole or passage-way
is behind the painting, leading to the common room, which is a
room where Hufflepuff students can relax after a long day of
studying. The common room is full of fat armchairs, yellow
hangings, and probably a bulletin board where school notices,
ads, lost posters, etc. can be posted. The Hufflepuffs'
dormitories are also located in the cellar, with perfectly circular
doors leading off from the common room that open to tiny
underground tunnels. One of them leads to the girls' dormitory,
the other to the boys. In each dormitory are five beds,
decorated with yellow hangings and the Hufflepuff badger.
HELGA HUFFLEPUFF
Helga Hufflepuff was one of the four Founders of Hogwarts
School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She was a friend of Rowena
Ravenclaw. Hufflepuff helped to build the school, and admitted
students into her House that were unafraid of hard work. While
the other Founders took students based on either ambition,
bravery, or intelligence, Helga Hufflepuff took the rest, treating
them all equally and teaching them all she knew. She brought
people from different backgrounds together to help in the
building of the school, and was known for her charming ways.
Helga Hufflepuff had a gift for food-related Charms, and her
recipes are still used as the basis for many Hogwarts feasts.
Helga Hufflepuff also arranged for the House-elf contingent to
work in the kitchens, giving them somewhere safe to work where
they would not be mistreated or abused.
This years password is: Equality
Anybody who forgets the password must go find Headmistress Panda
or Head of House, Pebble. The Hufflepuff portrait will not just let anybody into its Common Room!
