  Anansi stirred and slowly opened his eyes, the cold morning wind blew across his face as he sat up and looker over across Soul Society from the rooftop of the Squad 06 barracks. He had fallen asleep looking up at the stars, he would usually fall asleep at his desk filled with paperwork but it has been quiet as of late, so there is very little paperwork to be done. As he stood up and looked over the Seireitei he all of a sudden got a very ominous feeling. After standing there for a minute or two he shook his head and then jumped down from and used his reiatsu to form spirit particles under his feet to slow his decent and land softly on the ground.
He looked around, there was no sign of life in the garden of Squad 06, besides the garden itself. He walked slowly towards the gates of Squad 06 and then stopped to look back, Squad 06 was the only thing besides the Ade family that mattered to him. The site of Squad 06 filled him with pride, for his Squad never let him down, in his opinion Squad 06 was the best of all the squads and he knew that his squad was loyal to their Captain. He had been Captain of the squad for the past six and a half centuries.
He then turned back and walked past the Squad 06 gates, deciding to take a stroll through the Seireitei, he walked around for an hour before the sun started to actually rise. He loved this feeling and it was a sight he rarely got a chance to see. He had made it to a training area that he loved to visit for the fact that people rarely visited it, this place was surround by buildings and was only accessible by a small alleyway, their were no tiles just grass and soil and a free trees, then lastly there was a small pond in the middle.
He took his Captains coat and top of and hung it from the branch of a nearby tree, he then moved over towards the lake sat down cross-legged and started the slow process of meditation.
