Sora came and sat down in her history class. She studied the class room and took in a deep breath of the musty scent of books. She nodded to the teacher at the desk who was flipping through some papers.
She enjoyed history. Since most of the people she was learning about were dead anyways. She wanted to learn as much as she could about them as possible and then go summon them and ask them things that she didn't know. Of course summoning them was a lot easier said then done. Last time she summoned someone she almost got killed. She shuddered just thinking about it. Kalen seemed to notice her freaking out about that night and he scooted closer to her.

Rei runs down the hall after coming from her dorm room, she'd missed the previous hour. "Hi, nice to meet you." She walked across the room and sat in the chair closest to the window. Why do you like window seats, its just the same as the rest. No, this way if I zone out, its for a good reason. History bores me to tears. She let out a sigh and looked out the glass window.

Sora picked up the book that was underneath her desk and flipped through it. She only looked up when she saw a girl come racing through the door and sit in a seat next to the window. Kalen looked over at the girl also but decided not to fly over to her. Sora flipped through the History book some more and saw all the lovley people she could meet. There was Abraham Lincoln, Ganges Khan, Adolf Hitler..... She opted not to summon Hitler actually. When ever she summoned dangerous people, bad things always happened.

John entered the classroom with a unlit cigarette in his mouth and took a seat in the back of the class. He noticed Rei and let a small smile creep up his face, until he noticed that she wa kinda concerned about something. He decided to not pry into it as he noticed the other girl. She was doubtful and excited about something, but he was to lazy to care about what. He looked back over to Rei and let a deep sigh escape his lips. "Hey Rei," John called out trying to force a smile on his face.

Rei straightened in her seat when he name was called out, she'd been daydreaming again. Turning around to see it was John, remembering him from their meeting in the dorm hallway. "Hi, how are you?" Was all she was able to muster, not knowing what exactly to think of him.

Sora noticed yet another person enter the class. She recognized him as that lazy kid from her last class. She remembered he was the one sitting in the desk that Jill made float in the air. Kalen let out a soft squawk as Sora tensed up. She relaxed a bit, forgetting about the floating desk thing and continued to read. Her eyes lit up when she saw a picture of King Tut. She always loved Egyptian history and then she decided she would summon King Tut. She looked around and decided to do it right now. She was certain no one else would be able to see him and she didn't care if they thought she was crazy for talking to the air. She moved her hand over his picture and closed her eyes.

John decided no to pry into her emotions and continued to have a fake smile on his face. "Not very good Rei, I had a descussion with the principal and I found something very shocking . . . There are only three male students in this school including me, Xin and your brother," John said like it was the end of the world for him.

Rei tilted her head. "Is that a bad thing, you seem very depressed over it." She was curious on how his mind worked, not being able to read what he would say next. Lowering her gaze for a moment, thinking back to the dorm incident. "I'm sorry, from our talk before I mean."

John noticed she was becoming depressed again and sighed. "Don't worry about it and the reason why is the female population dwarfs the male population and usually happens at schools or colleges . . ." John asked her in a bored tone hoping she would catch on. He needed to be chased around by girls for being one of the only males. In his mind the females that depend on a relationship are scary and crazy.

Sora's eyes glowed a deep red color as she focused on summoning King Tut. She really hoped there weren't any dead animals nearby because she tended to accidentally raise dead things when she summoned ghosts. Her concentration was broken by a conversation going on near her she sighed. She would have to wait another time to summon King Tut.
She pulled out her mirror and looked to see if her eyes were still red, if they were, that meant she was still reaching into the afterlife. When she looked, she gasped. Her were no longer red, but instead they glowed a pale white color. Which was not a good thing.

Rei smiled at him for being worried about something so small. "You shouldn't be so negative about things like that, some would view it as a good thing." She thought about what he'd said and how he'd said it. "You have a better chance of finding a girl here because of the limited boys here at the school."

John let a small chuckle escape his lips as he realized how he said it. "Well some may view as a good thing thing . . . I'm not one of those people . . . Don't get me wrong. I'm not gay or sexist or anything, but do you really think that if I can't go through one class without falling alseep that I can handle a girl. Especially one looking for a relationship. I'm to lazy for that kind of s**t," John said to Rei in a bored tone as usual. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a small black lighter and sighed. He got up from his desk and walked over to the window near Rei and opened it. He undid the cap for the lighter and lit it a few times to make sure it was working. John then slowly lit his cigarrete hanging on his lip and took a long drag on the smoke before exhaling a long line of thin smoke from his lips.

Rei sighed not sure why he was complaining about something as ridiculous as relationships. Standing up she walked a few steps over to John and took the cigarette from him. "Then turned down any girl that asks you, not a big deal to say no." She jammed the lit end of the cigarette into the sill of the window, extinguishing it.
