Basu the seventh Kitsune was quite some distance away from the meeting hall when the discussion was going on. He was tending to the natural environment of the ground that they walked on within their forest. Though, just because he was not physically present does not mean that he wasn’t there. With the seismic vibration of the other Kitsune’s voices, he could hear everything they were saying. His eyes had widened when their second in charge had been announced captured. It could only be labeled as disturbing especially when he listened to know that an arrancar had taken her. What would they do to her and why did they want her? These were probably the first questions that popped into a person’s head. Well, he would not blame anyone he like Uncas, just wanted her back. It was something about the Kitsune women that made Basu want to protect.

They all were stronger than him yes, but he wasn’t weak. He stopped everything that he was doing and turned around and he would go into a quick sprint which would cause his form to disappear and into Kasoku. He would appear just a couple of seconds too late. Mishiko had made her own exit while Uncas had taken the others. ”Wai….wait! I am coming too! I want to help get Aoi…….” Before he could continue, they were already taking their leave. His head hung low and he whispered,” be careful.” Well, he probably could have been a lot of help seeing as how Mishiko, her being the only one there before, had told him it was a lot of sand. Anyway, he would make his way to Aoi’s room. She did not want her fish harmed in any possible way and that included starving. He would enter and feed her fish a little later than on the schedule but at least it was done.

When he made his way back out to the forest he stopped. His ears going back in fourth quickly as if he was hearing something. He bent down slowly and placed his hands on the ground. He could hear footsteps and not the normal ones of the human that you hear every day, but more like silent troops. His eyes narrowed not knowing who it was but after hearing about Chi destroying the bridge, he would assume they were shinigami. Well if she did that, it only meant they deserved her wrath. This just made him the protector of their home. Well, no wonder Uncas left him behind. If they got to close, he would go out to meet them before they found their home because it was off boundaries to the ones who did not respect nature.
