The Tigrex is just annoying the hell out of me so ya I tried it once to just get an idea of what I'm fighting and so I took in my main set of armor I've been using (I'll list in a bit for a better idea of what I got to work with) and my main dual weapon atm "Bladed Edge" with 2 attack jewels well best to say I screwed up my shock trap placement rite off the bat but still managed to get a load more hits off on him then with my "Eager Cleaver" my second try with my inventory fully stocked so here is were I'm at I can't move on with out taking him out my fighting style mostly consist of me diving in and ripping things apart when I get an opening I'm pretty good with dual blades ok with great and long swd's suck with any type of gun and rarely use any lances
Guess next I'll list what I have that I think is useful Armour: Helm:Ceanataur cap lv7 Def:30 Chest:Ceanataur mail lv11 Def:57 Arms:Giaprey glovers Lv4 Def:22 Waist: Basarios Tasset lv 10 Def:50 Legs:Giaprey feet Lv4 Def:22
Strength jewels x2 on all 1 on tasset and none on chest though
The arms and legs were mostly cause i liked the look more than willing to change them up for a better combo of armor if suggested
now here is what weapons I have
Great: Ravager Blade+ Barbarol blade Red pincer
Long: Eager Cleaver(heard this is great to use but i have trouble with it) Dark Scythe
Dual: Bladed Edge Snow Venom Order Rapier
I know nothing to impressive but it's all I have to work with rite now so any help on taking down the tigrex would be greatly appreciated.

Try to get used to the Eager clever then. That would be a good start.
Anyway, can't give you to much tips, but I'll give you what I do. It's tail is no where near as important to cut off as most other monsters. It doesn't increase his chance to hit you since no attack of his is tail oriented, but it is a nice thing to remove and allows an easier damage point. When in rage mode, my suggestion would be to dodge and maybe get a draw hit when he's open, don't go for a full combo unless he's stuck in the mountain up in area eight. Other points to hit, would be his shoulders, pick a side and stick with it. I find the right side to be the easiest because most it's attacks are right oriented, so if you see him move dodge to the left. And with the shock traps, Tiggy can be pretty unpredictable on when he leaves, but to get him in it, shouldn't be any problem at all. He will follow you but can only turn so far, so if you have the trap down(Do it early after he gets into the area, and not while he's in rage mode) and just stand behind it, He'll rush eventually. If he just spams his snow balls don't worry just dodge them, he will only do that for I don't know five at the most.
Hope the info helps.

Bring as many flash, barrel bombs, and traps as you can. Including the materials to make them.
I <3 bombs

Ahh, that quest brings back bitter sweet memories =D Use ceneataur blade and eagle cleaver, and bring traps, flashes, and if you really wanna kill it quicker, bombs will help out a lot

Don“t use the barbaroi blade. Tigrex has defense against fire.
