Osen Hot Springs is the most famous Hot Spring in Seireitei. It is a five star Hot Spring / Spa. The location is in the Eastern Branch of Seireitei. Hidden my healthy trees, and beautiful flowers, the Hot Springs are very clean, and elegant. The entrance is styled after original Japanese fashion, wooden and polished perfectly.
The entire building is leveled higher than the earth, because warm water flows under the floors, making the entire building feel warm. The indoor hot springs are located at the Western wing of the building, and are closed off only for paying customers. The indoor springs are built on higher leveled areas where the spring is a large wooden "pool". The water is very warm, it releases bubbles from the vent at the bottom of the tube.
The indoor pools are usually used at night, where the sliding doors can be opened and let the moon shine in, a very romantic place. Around the tubes of the inside pools there are water beds that have warm water inside. There is only one walk way to the door from each private room.
The outside springs are free to be used by any Shinigami of Seireitei. There are changing rooms provided for each side (women, and mens) but some people don't really care for the divider and go into the same spring. The outdoor springs are larger than the indoors. The out doors ones are placed in the ground with several rocks surrounding them. There is a cover over the outdoor springs that can be moved at night for a moonlight glow.
The Osen Springs have been around for about fifty years, and is owned by the Osen family. They bought this land around the time of the first Hot Spring's opening. They grew in profit in about ten years once remodeling was made. Now the family owns several other places around the market.
