the Gundam X series was after a war possibly like UC era's one year war. at the last attempt to win an army (supposedly the AW century's ZEON) tried to drop a bunch of colonies on to earth. th earth federation countered with mass produced gundams: airmaster leopored and X gundams. don't know the whole story but the war end in a draw (or something like that).
