A civilization onto itself, the cataclysm symphony is a power that cannot even be compared to the difference between conventional weaponry and the most powerful nuclear devices constructed by a pre-stellar civilization. constructed from the equivalent mass of twenty Jupiters more than a million high output reactors, and one star of at least ten times the mass of Sol.

Speaking specifically, the cataclysm symphony is a low orbit Dyson Net (a variant of the Dyson Sphere concept) that through the use of magnetic siphons, solar collector film, exhaust turbines, and various other systems is able to college almost 100% of the star's output, which is at any one second thousands of times greater than the total energy consumed by man kind thus far. Aided by the HORs it is also at any point in time the single greatest producer of energy in the known universe. In times of full combat operations it is theoretically capable of consuming more energy than the central black hole of a small newly formed galaxy. To the relief of everyone, everywhere, ever, the symphony has never been raised above even 1% combat operations, and by in large all of the times it has been fired were part of maintenance testing.

As far as the actual weapons, the whole of the dyson net exists solely to power an array of sixteen thousand Remote Oriented Endpoint Non-traversable (REON) Wormhole Gates, each attached to Limit Output Multiple Phase Distotion Emitter (LOMP-DE), which is to say a wormhole generator that can open to any specified endpoint in the known universe (within certain limits), but the wormhole only permits energy to pass through it; and a device that produces a wide variety of directed spacial distortions up to the maximum energy any one point in space is able to contain without annihilating itself, this limit allows the distortions to propagate themselves but when the wave intersects space that already contains a significant amount of energy, aka, mass, that space instantly ceases to exist.

The system produces enough energy to fire roughly four thousand of these systems simultaneously, and while the units themselves suffer downtime to cool off and realign, the power reserves return to full capacity in under a second, allowing another four thousand to fire almost immediately, then again, and by then the first set is ready to fire again.

Again summarizing the technical, this means that this one single star is capable of bringing a wholly irrational amount of firepower to bear against any known target within approximately five million lightyears, give or take a dozen.

As stated at the start, the cataclysm symphony is a civilization of it's own, constructed by a race that sought only solitude, at the expense of using their home world for materials to build it. Though it's magnetude doesn't even begin to compare to any known weapon, and even outshines a supernova, it serves the same purpose as nuclear weaponry. It is a standing threat. "We will not interfere with your world, you will not interfere with our world. If you interfere with our world, we will completely destroy everything you have ever known."
