XD The leaves are edible...
It's a malabar chestnut tree. This one's full sized, but they make good bonsais, for people like me who like the look but are too lazy for the extreme maintenance usually involved.

Well, I'd kind of like to be, but plants hate me. Major black thumb here. Then I heard you have to trim the roots or something, to keep the bonsais small... That wouldn't end well.
This kind of tree is low maintenance and has a small root ball anyway, so it works out well. I just have one.
I take it you're into bonsais?

I tried to be, I really did, but it ended up dying...my first and last bonsai. Like pets and infants, bonsai are better for me to admire at other people's houses.
