Yes. There's always a chance. But as long as you ALWAYS remember to take the pill and are careful about using the condoms properly, that chance is so incredibly low that it might as well not exist.

Profound. There will always be a chance of getting pregnant while having sex. Just be sure you use the condoms the right way, and make sure you are religiously taking that pill.

Also, with taking the pill it means taking it the SAME time everyday. There's always a chance but if used properly it's extremely slim.

Someone didn't read the stickies.
YES it's ALWAYS possible, even with a female being both on the Pill, and using a condom. There's always a chance you can get pregnant when having sex - so if you can't afford to take the risk of getting pregnant, or anything like that, then maybe it's better to wait.
The Pill has to be taken at the same time each day, and even when it's taken perfectly, it's only 99% effective against pregnancy. Planned Parenthood also pegs condoms at being 98% effective against pregnancy when used perfectly (meaning being stored, opened and used properly). So there's still a 1 - 2% gap where you can get pregnant.

As everyone else said, yes there is always a chance. The only 100% effective method is abstinence (not having sex or sexual contact at all)

Yes. I've had two friends that have had both their mothers become impregnated when they used a condom and were on the pill. There's always a risk involved.

Chalda As everyone else said, yes there is always a chance. The only 100% effective method is abstinence (not having sex or sexual contact at all) Even with abstinence... Dry humping, genitals touching (without penetration), etc... can also result in pregnancy. So it has to be TOTAL abstinence. Tricky!

If you only take the pill when you think you're going to have sex (ie: not at the same time of the day and not regularly), and put the condom on wrong (like inside out), you can actually have a HIGH percentage of becoming pregnant.
If you use both properly, however, there is little to no chance of pregnancy.
I've been having sex with condoms (and recently without) while on the pill for about three years. I've never gotten pregnant.
