Large but modern, plain and simple, its not really fancy by all means but then again growing up she never had much to begin with. She prefers the simplicity of a neat and tidy room since she used to share one with her family when she was young, They had to build an extension onto their small house when she was old enough for her own room. She has a small wardrobe and a sewing machine because she likes to make her own clothes and one for others. Though you have to beg her deeply for a nice dress.

Her bed can fit six or seven of her but she likes the space it gives her covered in simple white sheets she would make other sheets for herself but she feels that it would be a waste of fabric. She has a book case with simple books so that she can read and some secret ones where she can draw or write in so that she can keep making sure that she will never forget anything. She has some white toys on her bed as well as more pillows. She would have a room representing her element but what would represent air, the air in the room is always smelling of summer but when she is angry its like stepping into a freezer,

Some of her walls are painted pale teal, the colour of her Hoshi no Tama, though its closer to white than anything else. All of her clothing in her wardrobe is customised for her two tails, as she has had two in her human form for about a hundred years now. She has a simple cd player with meditation songs playing from it at all times. She finds the soothing sounds much better than some of the newer things, though that wont mean she will listen to them at times. Though its very rare, she doesn't have a TV as she prefers the view of the forest from her room. In which she can climb out of her window and jump into the trees. She has paintings in her room, which are from her days and she has seen in her past. She also has a few statues around her room. Some have said its like stepping into an art gallery.

She has a few secret holes in her room, for a safe for her Hoshi no Tama when she is asleep. Though only she knows the combination and she won't let anyone know it. No matter how much they begged. She has a stand for her dagger made out of marble which has a glass case for the top. She is one to make sure she has the best for her room. Even if it simple. She can still act like a big child in the room, jumping on the bed and making a mess of the neat and tidy room is always a way for her to vent her anger if she ever was angry. No one really knows how she is feeling.

Chi felt like a complete failure when she got home, the first place she went to was her room. She was still reeling from the blow that she had been given in order to try and save Aoi. She felt a failure that their hands had slipped and she wanted to hug Aoi, bring her back. Though now she didn’t know where she was, she couldn’t even sense her in the immediate area. A whine passed her lips as she quietly shut her sound proof door behind her. Locking the door behind her, she went to the bathroom. She had to check how much damage had been done to her face. There was a slight laceration from the punch but there was no blood… Yet. A silent sigh passed her lips as she looked down at her Kimono, white was easily ruined and obviously she had ruined it today. She knew that she would probably be blamed for acting stupid againd against Uncas’ wishes, but she hated being called weak. As she went about to removing her Haori, she took off her dagger first of all and threw It onto the bed, near the bells which she had left earlier. Her Hoshi no Tama, was taken off after wards, but she put that in the safe. Locking it behind her. She then went about undressing. She needed to clean off, she suddenly felt like she was the weakest after all.

Stepping into the bathroom wearing nothing but a towel around her body, covering her up. She went about turning on the shower. Flicking the switch too so that she could see her reflection in the mirror. She looked up from the sink and saw an older more tired version of herself. Her face was killing her and she could see the red marking from the woman that had hit her. She wished she had been able to lash out too. She looked to Aoi as a sister, older sometimes but a sister none the less. A sigh passed her lips as she brought a hand up to touch her cheek. It stung but she remembered when Uncas had held her, his affection, god what did he think of her?! Lowering her head, her hands gripped the side of the sink as she growled to herself. Her ears alert and twitching softly. The air around her was slowly starting to freeze canceling out the warm water that was going to be a healer in making her feel a little better. Maybe even give her some of her youth back, which had been stolen from her on this fateful day. As she allowed the air around her to go back to being normal. She walked over to the shower and turned on the water. Letting the cold escape the nozzle before she jumped in.

Letting the towel drop to the floor, she stepped onto the cold white tiles of the bathroom. Yeah she had the same design bathroom as her bedroom, except with the wooden walls. She figured they would rot under all the steam and such. As the warm water hit her skin, she coiled out of it, her face hurt like hell and she didn’t realise it hurt that much. Bringing up a hand she touched the cheek once again, took a deep breath and stepped back in the water. Closing her eyes, she knew that she had to get stronger, so once this was over she was going to the training grounds. Probably not returning unless someone went to get her or drag her back cause she was going to kill herself. Not that it would matter, she was willing to give up her life for her family. Her tails twitched as they got damp, she knew that showering had a negative effect on them but she didn’t care right now. She had to get clean, cause she felt so dirty, she felt like she was covered in a sense of fail. The water was a purifying agent. It would help her. Reaching over she grabbed her coconut shampoo and poured some of the hand made mixture over her hair, though she stepped out of the water in order to create a lather. Her ears were flat against her head so that they could get lathered too. Though as she closed her eyes she saw Aoi’s kidnapper, and heard everything that he had said to her. Everything had been disrespectful.

Stepping back into the shower, she rinsed the shampoo from her hair and kept her eyes shut. She was visualising killing that guy. Well he had to die in her eyes now, he had insulted everything that made her unique. Not only that, he had dared to take Aoi and… Shuddering her tails stood on end as well as her ears. Though she relaxed soon enough. Her eyes opened and she cut her shower short. She couldn’t even focus on anything at the moment. Stepping out of the shower closet, she picked up the towel that she had discarded on the floor beforehand. Rubbing her hair as she stepped into her bedroom, she folded the towel around herself. She walked over to the wardrobe and figured she might as well wear something that she wouldn’t normally wear. Pulling the door to her wardrobe open. She looked inside and found something at least she would be comfortable in. Removing the outfit from the hangar, she slipped the top on first. Its long flowing sleeves covered her hands, making it better for her to practice fighting now. Her pants were ripped upto the knees she had made them so that she could have free movement of her legs. Holes in the back for her two tails. With the combination of her pale skin and her hair, she looked like a ghost.

Sitting down on her bed now, she picked up a pair of white sandals which tied at the heels. As she finished sorting her feet out. She picked up her dagger and attached it to her pants. A smile crossed her lips as she looked to the locked safe. She would want to see her mother again, and in doing so, she rose from the bed. Her feet clicking against her wooden floor as she reached the safe. Entering the combination she opened the door as easily as she could any other door. A smile crossed her lips as she reached in and taken out the teal coloured ball. Walking back over to the bed, she held the ball in her hands as she closed her eyes and allowed herself to see one of her first memories that she hadn’t seen in a long time.

Flash back

It was any typical day, but it was one that she would never forget. The sixteen year old Chi would be having her own room from now on. She didn’t have to stay with her parents anymore. It was a happy day and she had been helping her father in creating the room for herself. Chi would be happy enough to talk then, her voice hadn’t changed much, just her appearance. Chi was sitting in the tree in their back yard that day. She had been staring at the sun waiting for it to set. Just for her to be able to crawl into her own bed and watch the moon from her bedroom window. Smiles couldn’t express how she had been feeling when she was little. She would be allowed some freedom. Though she knew that she could read alone anywhere in the house. She was educated by the schools that her family had been able to send her too. The time of the year was summer cause she was born in the summer, just when her fathers plants were coming into bloom. It was supposedly a peaceful time for her family.

As she sat in the tree, she heard the soft sound of her mothers voice calling her from the porch. ”Chiharu get out of the tree right now and come help us move your belongings into your new room.” Her heart leapt in her chest as she jumped out of the tree and landed on all fours, in a runners crouch, she made a break to the house. Removing her shoes before she stepped inside, it was a plain house with only the simplest of belongings, most of them hand made. There was no rooms, there was just the one main room. Though her parents had made her a room because they felt she had deserved it. Chi passed her parents and walked into the even smaller room than the main living space. All it had was a bed in it, even that was makeshift. Her heart leapt in her chest as she looked around the wooden walls. The whole thing smelt of summers air. Chi was laughing, it was the first time that she had done such in a long time. Her eyes were bright hues and they looked over to where her parents had hired their friends to try and move some of the furniture they had created. So that they would be able to let her dress in peace.

Rushing over to help her parents, she was a lot stronger because she was younger. Chi wasn’t allowed to speak out of context when people were present. So as a good girl she just did as what she was told or sometimes didn’t need the telling. As the small room received the small bedside table and the small chest which would be the thing that would be holding her clothes. She knew that she would have candles for light. Though she didn’t feel like grabbing one and setting it down on the bedside table. Her parents were smiling at her and she was smiling right back. Though as she started to step towards them, she noticed the initials on her chest. She was blushing like mad and stopped in her tracks and instead made her way over to the chest. As the house emptied she squealed in happiness and spoke out the words, ”This is really cool.. Thank you mama, papa..”

Flash back ended

As Chi opened her eyes once more, she felt the tears in her eyes, had she really missed seeing those memories again? Well the tears on her cheek had signaled that. Her lips parted in a sigh as she held the ball in her hands, it was glowing still from its latest use. She hoped that no one would take it. She was afraid of it going missing. Swinging her legs in the air, she noticed how warm her room had got. Slipping off the bed for a third time she walked over to the window and opened the small glass pane. Her birds were chirping happily in their cage. She would be releasing them soon because of how old they were getting, she would buy new ones in the spring but over the winter and autumn she didn’t keep them. A smile crossed her lips as she picked up the bag of feed from her bed side table and reached in. Grabbing a handful she poured it into the little dish. They didn’t need feeding as much as the fish did, but she made sure she fed them once a day. Her green eyes watching them as they jumped from the perch to the feed bowl. Shutting the latch afterwards she fell back on the bed and closed her eyes. This peace wouldn’t last, especially with Uncas being in a fowl mood. Though it was nice to get the peace while it lasted.
