I just heard about it, and...
I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING ABOUT IT!!!! does anyone know anything about it? What monsters? what areas? what weapons? what will they do with cha cha/ felyne partners? what about the switch axe? are they bringing back the gunlance? Are they keeping the same moves? WILL U BE ABLE TO PLAY OVER THE INTERNET???? So many questions! anyone have an answer to any of them?

I know that they are having all of the weapons seen in the other games. And also... I've heard from some places that the infrastructure online play is a widespread rumor, and have others say it's true. For me... that's gonna be what determines if I'm gonna get it or not. Since they say it's supposed to have a lot less content than MHFU. D:

No infrastructure play
About 90% of the game is entirely new content while Unite was 90% rehash so its not exactly a reliable measure of content.
New weapon type(switch axe) and reworked weapon attacks on everything else(Greatsword, Sword & Shield, Long Sword, Dual Blades, Hammer, Hunting Horn, Bow, Heavy/Light Bowgun, Lance, Gunlance) anything from Tri has their attacks from that. Duals work differently, more balanced damage wise(no more brokenly high elemental damage) and are much more fun to use.
New Town - Yukumo
New Creatures(a lot)
FIXED HITBOXES
New Areas
Two Felyne Comrades that can be brought in on multiplayer missions and they have fully customizable equipment.
New Numbers for Damage - All weapons start at 50 and you can use armor spheres to upgrade the damage, this makes it easier for players to transition between weapon types by making them comparable. No more 150 S&S being the equal of a 800 GS, they'll both be listed as 80.
Being Ported to Sony's NGP for the dual thumbstick controls on it.
Straight up content wise, its more than F2, less than Unite.

Hmm... interesting. I hadn't heard about most of that stuff yet. And about the NGP... will it still be on the PSP? And on that prospect, do they both play UMD games?

NGP does not play UMDs, P3rd however will not be a download on PSN until the launch of the NGP.
That's how they're handling backwards compatibility with it, downloads with much better controls since NGP has two sticks and four shoulder buttons.

a few tweaks have been made on the moveset of some weapons moar felyne comradess, some monsters can have mud or lava armor like agnaktor and i like the boat on desert battle with jhen mohran 3nodding

/dies Why not? if it is because of lack of a credit card you can get prepaid sony cards quite easily (I get mine from shoppers drug mart when I don't want to charge my card), you can download from psn directly from your psp, or from a computer or from a ps3. of course all that being said I hacked my psp go (it is incredibly easy now, like super mega easy) same as one of the guys above and I am using an english patch (AND I AM LOVING IT), because I have a feeling it will take a long time before we get the NGP and MHP3 and I just could not wait for Sony. =/

After im done with amatsu i will start doing single high rank quest to get akantor armor (you cant get akantor, ukanlos and alatreon's quest until you finish amatsu).
