Detention, detention, the place where everyone hates.
Where students get supervised by one certain teacher for as many hours and days as the teacher says and can do nothing but write things on the board, read math books, and sit.

hmm you're light on detention students. when it's my time to run detention, the students will be working the grounds of the school. They will be cleaning rooms, landscaping the gardens, helping in the greenhouse, Marking the forest trails, and so forth. AND they will be required to serve their detention without the aid of magic.
