Mount Carol sits at the center of the Vanishing Woods. It's shadow stretches across many of the surrounding towns but nobody would go near it. Each town knew that strange creatures lurked in the woods, the few who ventured into the Vanishing Woods in an attempt to scale the mountain or to map out safe paths through the woods never came back. That is until a small band went into the woods and returned with a fascinating tale and a woman none had ever seen. At the top of the mountain was a large castle and in that castle was the woman who said she would open her doors to a select group of students and faculty. She had one condition though, they weren't to leave the castle until she allowed it.
Now the villagers are gathering those who were on the outskirts of society from rogues to those with strange powers to send up to the castle they now refer to as Cloud Acadamy.

He allowed her to enroll at the acadamy on one condition, that her studies won't interfer with her work. He gave her a pendant so he could see what she saw and keep her in line. In order for her to keep her powers in line she wears thick leather gloves.

At age 17 a bunch of members from the village decided to go investigate the strange castle at the top of the mountain, Makio was one of them. After a couple of close encounters with death Reynard learned to phase with Makio and give him enough strength to survive, and also after these close encounters his mother forced him to go to Cloud Academy for his own protection(not knowing about Reynard). But secretly he didn't mind since the members decided they need a spy there which, since he was the youngest to go up the mountain with them, is him.

((Okay guys. I'm opening the forum so post when you can. I'm still going to be busy for the next few days so be patient with me.))
-beep- -beep- -beep-
Silvia's arm reached out of her coffin, tossing the annoying contraption that woke her up against the wall where it shattered. She retracted her arm and rolled back over falling back asleep only to be woken again by a knocking on the top of the lid. She openned the lid far enough up so she could be heard but no light could get through. "What do you want?" she asked drowsily before sitting straight up, lifting the lid, completely awake. "How the hell do you keep finding this place?"
Ragar chuckled at the headmistress in her night gown. "It's not that hard, Madame. I just have to think "What's the darkest place in this building?" And I know you never use the same area twice," he said as his chuckled died at her death glare. "Anyway the students are arriving. Just wanted to give you the heads up." He quickly retraced his steps to the door, nearly tripping on his own feet, as a huge chunk of wall came flying at him.
"And stay out!"

Lilith approached the main gate on foot, her scythe strapped to her back and man with a large gun pointing at her from behind so she wouldn't run back. She waited, taking in the cold, bleak exterior, before going to the gate and touching it gently with her gloved hand. The gate was unlocked and she slipped in without a second glance at the escourt. 'Remember your duties,' she heard from the crystal around her neck. 'I'll be watching.' She gritted her teeth as she slowly made her way into the court yard.

Ms. Karriane Howl opened the door to her new classroom. The bleakly colored seats and dull windows gave a gloomy feeling to the room, but she remained cheerful.
She smiled as she approached the desk that had her schedule carefully set. She looked down at the attendence sheet. "Jasper Kale, Seth Kale, Lilith O'Hara, Lexi, and Amber Moore." she quietly read. "Hm. Small class. But it'll do I suppose."

Seth Kale shoved his brother Jasper playfully as they arrived at the new school. They stopped a small distance away from the school, and examined it.
"So, this is the place, eh?" Seth grinned.
"Mh-hm." Jasper quietly hummed.
They approached the gate with caution. Seth jogged to it and recklessly shoved it open. Jasper sighed as they both entered the school.

Amber smiled as her father and her approached the ominous school. Her blonde hair fell gracefully onto her shoulders as she began to speak. "Dad, do I really have to go?"
Her father nodded his head, and stopped to get a look a the school. It's large windows, and bleakly colored walls, gave no hint a Vampriess lived there, but he sighed in relief it was no dungeon.
Amber hugged her father tightly, before sliding her pack on, along with three swords, a thinly sharpened dagger in her pouch, and a small knife hidden in her shoe.

Lilith turned at the sound of new arrivals and quickly jumped into the air. She hovered there looking down at the two boys and the girl who hugged a man. She studied them carefully before alighting onto a roof where she perched with her scythe in her hands.

Ragar ran through the halls as fast as he could in order to escape the headmistress's wrath. He ducked in and out of passages he had discovered the week before, having been sent up prior to the students and other teachers, and came out in a classroom he didn't remember being there. He saw a woman at the desk and smiled charmingly at her. "Hello."

Seth glanced up at the rising Lilith, and gasped.
Jasper, not as stunned as Seth, rised his gaze to Lilith.
"Pftt." Seth mumbled. "I'm not one for emo.." he turned around, and saw Amber hugging her dad, and gaped. "Now, that's what I'm talking about." he grinned.
Jasper's eyes didn't waiver from Lilith.

Lilith stared at the boy who was staring at her. 'Don't get too attached to him,' the voice said.
"Yes, Master," she whispered. She sat up there a few more minutes before jumping off the roof and landing lightly on the ground. She straightened and looked at the two. She turned and went into the building.

Jasper remained silent as Lilith gently landed on the ground.
Amber freed herself from her father's hug, and looked up to Seth. She smiled, as his stare placed on her. "He's cute." she quietly thought. She drifted to him, as her father scuddled away.
"Hey.. I'm Amber."
Seth grinned. "T'sup. I'm Seth."
Jasper abandoned Seth at the gate, and trodded toward the gate. His mind still focused on Lilith. "No." he thought to himself. "I promised mom I would focus on taking care of myself and Seth.. I don't have time for a relationship.. As if that would ever happen."

Silvia opened the wall she was hiding in, fully dressed, and stepped out into the hall. She looked around and closed the wall behind her, making a mental note to hide her room later. She made her way to the foyer to greet the students as they arrived, pulling a very strict expression forward. She passed the room with the two teachers. "Ragar. Karianne. This way," she ordered expecting them to fall into line behind her.
Ragar looked to the head mistress and then away. He was in no mood to listen to the woman who ten minutes ago tried to kill him with a piece of the wall. "I'm Ragar. Pleasure to meet you Karianne."
