This: Or Comic: Answers: 1. I made it on GIMP for a game I play. 2. I found it on Google and it does look shopped. Plus everyone has seen this image around anyway.

Well, GIMP's basically an open-source, crippled Photoshop, so technically saying both is right. As such, that's what I'm doing.

I think GIMP is alot better for me to use than Photoshop because layering is alot easier. Plus I can understand the interface much better without having to know a million things. Plus, I make some pretty badass banners. I used to use other software for my banners which kinda made it pixelated plus it gave me layering problems. So GIMP is the second best.

I actually find GIMP way more of a pain in the a** than Photoshop.

I can make banners or sig pictures but I fail at making one for myself on here

But if it's a dumbed down version of photoshop I'd probably hate it. You could try Photoshop Elements. I think it's at least a lot cheaper, if not free. That's what I had before I got photoshop.

I still have alot to learn though and i've barely scratched the surface of banner making. I'm hoping to get to making a CD cover (vinyl) for a little album of mine in the near future when I get the skills but until then I just need practice.
