(( Note : This RP takes place pre-Tartaros))
To say Lieutenant Paragonite was bored would be an understatement. The fact of the matter was she hadn't been able to get anyone cornered to retrieve star seeds this evening, and any future prospects later on where unlikely. The young woman stretched high above her head, feeling a yawn come on. Kicking at some debris on the ground, the Lt was pretty well set on calling it a night. Her arms dropped back down by her side, and she turned to head back into the darkness of an alleyway.
As she turned, something glinted in the corner of her eye. Turning her head back slowly, she noticed a shock of familiar, mussy looking blonde hair. Quirking an eyebrow, Paragonite debated for a moment on approaching the boy. Scheelite was not known to be her favourite teammate by far (not that she particularly favoured any of her teammates. She liked Captain Linarite, and had a dry respect for the other two Lieutenants, but she had a known distaste for how Scheelite would act in public).
While she fought with this for a few moments, she felt herself heave a sigh. She was going to cave on this, just this one time. Leaving the alleyway she moved towards the boy, "Sch... holy hell boy, what happened to you?" the closer she moved to him, the more battered he looked. A thin lipped frown drew itself across her face, and her brow furrowed. Distaste or not, he was a teammate. This just did not bode well.

Really, Scheelite probably shouldn't have been out. Zinkenite had told him this quite a few times, but when Schee was in this mood he rarely ever listened. He just needed another day or so to recuperate from his battle with Lyra, and then he'd be right back to hunting her down.
For now though, the rough looking Lieutenant was left to wander the city (against his partner's better judgement) and lick his wounds. At the sound of another voice the boy whirled around and looked for the source of the noise. Those acid green eyes were quite familiar, but now they had a bit more of a wild look to them.
"Who's there?!" The boy growled, which was far from his usual hyperactive sort of greeting. "I swear if you touch me..." But then he caught sight of Para and he calmed down. At least a tiny bit. "...P-Para?"

Para's frown never wavered, though her brow did seem to furrow more, if that were actually possible. She moved closer to the boy, and ignored his warning about touching him, reached out and pulled his chin to make his face look towards her.
"My God Scheelite, what the hell happened to you? Or, I suppose, who the hell happened to you? Are they still around?" she began to look around, her free arm tightly grasping her baton suddenly. If they were still around, Para had it in her mind that she would find them, and make them kiss the bottom of her bow-tied shoes.
"******** senshi." she grumbled half to herself, half to Scheelite.

The boy hissed and squirmed to get away as she lifted his head. Hell, he even swung at her. That warning had been very real, and the way he was acting was very un-Scheelite.
"IF they are around I swear I'll kill them. But this happened yesterday...." From what she could see of him as he squirmed around the wounds were definitely fresh, but not so fresh as to still be bleeding. Last night was the night of the battle, and Scheelite still had quite a few signs of it. Big bump and bruise on his head from where they had run face first into each other, various little marks that resembled burns, the majority of which were on his arms under his web shirt, and other cuts and scrapes that signaled a battle. Biggest mark was likely the bruise on his back from Lyra stomping right into it, but that Para couldn't see.
"Sailor Lyra...you ever see her she's MINE. Something happened to her last night though..different outfit, different god damn powers, I HATE HER. Argh!" He was swinging at the air now, much like a temper tantrum a child would have to vent some anger. Scheelite -was- much like a child, an overgrown and dangerous one at that.

Scheelite was lucky to have missed as he basically blindly swung at Paragonite. She eventually dropped his chin from her hand, and let her baton fade away. Placing her hands on her hips, she processed the information the blonde was spitting at her, all the while trying to figure out this major mood swing he seemed to be having. Scheelite was always so damn... peppy. Positive, stupidly hyper and optimistic. This was a side of him she wasn't sure what to make of. It was like looking at some sort of mirror-Schee. Cranky, pissy... the whining was the same, but overall his entire aura was.. well.
Blah.
"Sailor Lyra? I'll keep that in mind." she murmured.
"Relax kid. You keep on like that and I'm putting you on a time out." she sighed, "Either way, least you made it out in one piece. Mostly. Linarite will be glad for that. You should be too. Means you have time to work at kicking that smarmy senshi's a** from here into next year."

"I don't -need- a damn time-out. I need to kill Sailor Lyra!" As soon as he was free he took one more swing at Paragonite and then backed the hell away. The vibe he was sending out was somewhere between pissed off child and cornered wild animal.
It wasn't a good vibe.
"She's MY enemy, and if anyone else tries to get her ohh I'll get them..." He trailed off into a bit of rambling about god damned Zinkenite and his god damned little 'experiments' with Lyra. It wasn't making much sense. "Been MY enemy since almost the beginning. She's mine and one day I'll hand her stupid star seed over to the Queen and everyone will have to realize -I- can do a good job too!"
He laughed a sort of madman's laugh, still mumbling to himself about Lyra and her future lack of a star seed.

Paragonite felt the swipe connect this time, though just barely. She backed up a foot, and glared at the boy for a moment before rolling her eyes and letting herself plop down onto the cement. She could relate to the driving force behind wanting to take someone out. Someone who had wronged you. That feeling could sit inside and well up into a burning desire. And almost obsessive need.
"If you really want to kill her, Schee, then you have to be more action and less talk. If you want her dead, then forgo what you'd normally do, and figure out what the hell you have to do to get rid of her. " she shrugged , letting her eyes casually watch her teammate. She may have appeared unphased by his change in temperament, but she was very aware that he was something to keep an eye on at that moment.

"I DO want to kill her, I've WANTED to kill her for a long damn time but every time..ARGHH!" He snarled again, watching the other plop to the cement. For the moment he didn't advance to try an attack, but with how unpredictable he was already behaving who knew what would happen next.
"One time where we were fighting blew up. It literally blew the ******** up Para. This time she gets rescued by some little furball or something I just....DAMN HER. Now she's ******** stronger and I'm still just -me-. This ******** sucks Para. Really. ********. Sucks." Scheelite grumbled, stomping back and forth in an erratic little path as he tried to work off more of his frustration. Try to calm down, try to get the little voice of reason speaking in his mind again. Anything to try and get Scheelite's obsessive KILLKILLKILL mentality out of control.

Paragonite mulled over her agitated comrade's words. It strangely left a bitter taste in her mouth, based on who it was springing forth from, but she shrugged it off.
"Well," she looked back towards the boy, "perhaps you could look at this another way. You now have the motivation and the drive to become stronger than her. Better than her, even. Once that happens, there should be little stopping you from breaking her." she smiled, though it wasn't exactly the settling, friendly sort of smile one would normally toss at a friend. It was more sinister than that.
"Then you'll be able to take her starseed, let her watch you yank it from her chest, and let her know how it feels to be left powerless, alone, and with nothing."

Scheelite had to stop and grin at that. These weren't words trying to calm him down, prove him wrong, or try to get him to go away from 'his' plan. No, these were words meant to rile him up and drive him further along in his quest for revenge.
Excellent.
A sick little grin crossed his face to match Para's own sinister one. Scheelite was usually grinning, but this was different. "You know...that's a VERY good point Para. I like that. Yeah...let her watch her own star seed be taken out, then she can finally die and I can move on..."

"Yep. That's what it boils down to," she smiled, "and then your life will become infinitely better." her own smile never wavered as Scheelite seemed to start forming his own ideas in his sick little mind.
"Plus, it'd be a nice kick in the teeth to their ranks, which makes our overall goal a little bit easier. Like I said Schee," she never called him that, felt a little weird rolling off her tongue too, "it's a good thing. Never back down, and let that take you to the level you need to be at. Once you get there, nothing, and I mean nothing, will stop you."
Paragonite struggled with the words a little bit. A strange feeling came over her, and she wasn't sure where to classify it. It was almost like she was talking to herself.
She shook her head and looked up to the sky. That was a little more than creepy.

Schee looked delighted. Actually, the general psychoticness of his grin was starting to fade away, his expression going back to it's normally hyperactive grin.
Great.
"Totally gonna do it man. Gonna beat Lyra, gonna get promoted, and gonna be awesome." -Captain- Scheelite. Now wasn't that a scary damn thought? The day that happened the Negaverse would surely implode.
"Buuuut...not tonight. So...what are -you- up to tonight, hrm?"

Oh dear God.
There it was. That... THAT thing that Scheelite did. That thing that drove her up the wall, that thing that made her want to slap the stupid out of him. That childlike smile that beamed from ear to ear, and the 'happy' eyes, she didn't know how else to describe them. He was so damn, oh what was the word, chipper! Peppy even.
Why on earth did he have to be so damn peppy.
Then again, she heaved a sigh, she hated to admit it, but she preferred him being more like himself, and less like her. The image of his creepy smile was rather well implanted in her mind for the moment, and considering how he looked now, it was almost surreal.
Unnatural even. Just like those creepy eyes of his. Seriously, had someone dipped him in a pool of radioactive goop as a child?
"Heh, yep. You're gonna get there kid." it was just easier to play along sometimes.
"Not much actually, I was about to head home to get some sewing done. There's s**t all going on here tonight."

Peppy was a good thing at least! Peppy was expected of Scheelite, and when in that mood he was pretty predictable. Hyper, happy, bouncing off the walls and generally being annoying. Check, check, and check! When he was in his -other- mood....well, who knew what he'd do then. Just ask Zink!
Those 'creepy' eyes settled on Paragonite, the grin faltering for just a moment. "Oh..." The blonde lieutenant scuffed a foot against the ground, shifting his acid gaze downwards. "C-can...I come? Cmooon! I'm SO BORED Para, I need something to do and I'm not ready to go back HOME yet..."
Oh lord.

"Yeah sure." wait what? The moment the words passed her lips, her face almost took on a deer in headlights look to it. It had just slipped out! She hadn't meant it, it was just natural to respond like that. Most people she wouldn't mind coming along. But, SCHEELITE?
She felt herself twitch a bit. If she never developed a tick because of Scheelite, she'd be surprised.
