Basic Information
The grenade launcher is essentially a slightly extended refitted M203 with some XM320 improvements (Side mounted Iron sights) and an under barrel tube which supports up to four relatively small 25mm x 40mm rounds, found in the XM25. The rounds of course, are loaded into the already nearly pump action chamber via pump action from the under barrel tube, the action similar to that of a Mossberg 500, just merely scaled up. Rather simple in design, the main new feature of the grenade launcher is the fact that it's nearly completely encased in rubber and steel grips and uses the 25mm x 40mm round; which, although potentially capable of firing area of effect pre-distance detonated explosives, usually does not.
