It had been like any other ordinary day. Sleep, wake up, go to school, etc. The young college male had slept upon the rooftop, and woke up when afternoon classes were nearly over. They had gone over a section in class that Seth had already reviewed, so he didn't see any point in going. After school, he had been drug by a friend to go and check out the new releases at Best Buy for updated hardware and software. They had spent a while there, already dusk when they had parted ways so that Seth could walk home.

He was only 15 minutes away from his apartment when he stopped in front of a deserted area. Somebody, or several somebodies had been tailing him for quite a while. "You can come out now." He called out, shoving his hands in the black pockets of his school uniform. "Hey there. I heard you beat one of my buddies the other day." Seth looked at him with a glance, that conveyed that he didn't have the patience for this. What a pain.. He tilted his head to the side with a bored expression. "So?" The appeal of these guys were 0. The appeal of his bed at home - 1. And Seth had better things to do then to be accosted for something he didn't recall. Although to tell the truth, the possibility was high with Seth getting involved in fights almost daily. Especially now, when people seemed much more irritable and angry, losing sleep to the common phenomena of nightmares. Of course, Seth was no exception.

"What do you mean, so?! I'll have you know-" While the man was talking, Seth looked up at the sky. It was already nearing night, and Seth didn't like being out so late. It wasn't so much for safety reasons that included strange creatures roaming around, or news of strange girls in skirts, or mysterious individuals that were attacking civilians but the simple fact that Seth liked to sleep early despite the nightmares.

"....ere you listening to me?!" An indignant voice broke into his thoughts. Oh, he was still talking? "Can't say I have." Seth answered blandly, which infuriated the man further. Hey, if anyone had reason to be annoyed, it was Seth. He was the one being inconvenienced after all. "Does this actually have a point?" He decided to get straight to the heart of the issue. The man who had talked his mouth off had apparently decided that talking was going to get him nowhere here. He lifted his hand, a signal to his friends who started to close in on the male.

His gray eyes flickered to the side, catching sight of the two people behind him. "...." He let out a sigh, why did they always want to settle things with violence? Not that the older male should be speaking, considering that he echoed the same sentiments. He just felt that he justified it better. One of the males dove for him, Seth sidestepping him a few seconds before he could make contact with the college male. He ended up tripping, diving for the ground instead. "Umph!" The sound of surprise and pain filled the air, as Seth lifted him by his collar. "Let's make this quick."
