LIFE DUST: PESTILENCE
Introduction
What is Pestilence? In biblical terms, pestilence is represented by one of the four horsemen that ride across the land during the apocalypse. In definition, pestilence is a contagious or infectious epidemic disease that is virulent and devastating like the bubonic plague. As a dust, pestilence is represented as a child who grows to use his wicked abilities to protect the humans who raised him. For Cadaver this will be a long trail before he reaches his potential as a true protector. Like any virus or disease he is rapidly growing and learning, changing himself and his ideas almost instantaneously. Cadaver will never remain the same, so to reflect this he will need constant plot movements and developments that will help mold and shape him.

Personality
Viewed as an outspoken and often naive individual, he takes on the "father figure" for his peers. Often giving sage advice but quite oblivious when it comes to topics about himself. He is something of a slacker and loner despite being a social butterfly that loves to talk. While he may be naive to some degree he's not dumb by any standard and knows a lot of medical terms and big vocabulary from reading his papa's books and notes. Depicted as vivacious, flamboyant, self-confident, and self-centered, with a penchant for annoying others -- often unaware of this fact -- he has what is known as a 'draining' personality. Often flitting through life on a whim. He can have his down moments a fact that everyone can pick up instantly, when he's not smiling or moving about with his usual energy. He tends to use the "turtle effect" drawing in on himself like a shell making it almost impossible to get him to open up. Time is usually the best course as with enough of it he'll bounce back and sort through his problems on his own and jump back into the foray as if nothing happened.

My Brother's Keeper
I'm looking for someone to play Cada's big brother, someone who he can look up to and confide in as he would with his papa (if the man weren't so drunk all the time). This role is open for teen dust currently and possibly Aren (if BP is open to it).
Best Friend & Worst Enemy
Looking for someone to take up slack where Krinn's memory loss and absence has left a rather empty hole for Cadaver. While he will always consider Krinn is one and only true friend he's going to have to grow up and understand that the world doesn't just end with the raincloud dust. So another dust can step in to fill this empty spot and maybe help the young minded teen cope and move as well as confide in a new friend.
Along with this, I'll be looking for someone to play the role of his worst enemy. Cadaver is hard to piss off and even harder for him to hate others so it will have to be a genuine need to keep this dust away from him. We can go over options once applications are taken in but for the most part if you think your dust can truly hate Cada's upbeat nature and Cada in turn can find something to set him off then we are well under way.
Rivalry
This section is dedicated to Cadaver's need for a true healthy rivalry. I'm thinking that this will only work with someone who has a similar personality as his own. Someone fairly naive but not stupid, upbeat and easily makes friends but also someone with a hyperactive personality and equally exhausting as Cada's. This individual will have to be better at things that will make Cada jealous while in turn my little pestilence dust will have one up on his rivalry in other areas. I think the two of them can become friends or at least tolerate each other in the long run but they will never get over the bickering, throwing tantrums and trying to be better at something then the other. It's open for a lot of hilarity as well.
Sidekicks Unite!
Who's dust has a sidekick like Cadaver? If they do then please apply, this little segment is geared toward a little sidebar fun where dusts with something in common can have their Pajama party and talk on and on about their very bestest best friend in the whole world. It leaves room to make some more acquaintances without trying too hard. Besides if they got a sidekick their gonna want to take on an adventure... this will also allude to a fun if not a bit dangerous, adventure.
Romantic Interest
Cadaver has always had a bond with Hymn ever since he was young. Due to his youthful nature he doesn't really have a full understanding of what "true love" really is. I want this area to lead to Cada actually falling in love with someone hard. Though he'll grow into that love without knowing it and simply realize one day (with a vast amount of maturity and understanding) that his protectiveness for this person is only brought on by his love for them. For now Cadaver has no general sexual preference but as time progresses he'll shift toward women and leave the men to their own devices.
Let's Play Doctor
Cadaver is a teen now and he'll be needing some steady cash flow to keep up with the bills. Aside from this he has already decided to follow in his papa's tracks of taking care of the sick and terminally ill. He'll be working at a local Hospice in the area but take on some freelance work and make house calls for persons too sick to be moved. I want to focus on this area with other dusts who may become ill over time or need regular check ups. For now Cada's loving papa Marijus will be the usual doctor on the scene but the teen dust will make regular visits and assist the man. Over time he will take over completely as roles change and Cadaver is forced to take care of his ailing guardian.
With this job will come a great need for Cadaver to study. He'll need to know a lot about different herbs and medicines that can be used to cure or treat various sicknesses. Aside from his study habits he'll be learning more about his abilities and how to use them for good rather than making people sick as they instinctively are programed to do. This will be a good area for a lot of self reflection but I'm not keeping it just focused on Cada I'd love to see how he'd interact with others in a hospice setting as well.
Teen Angst
He's a teenager, nuff said. Actually not enough. Cadaver hasn't really rebelled as a child and even in his earlier teen years he's been the kind of teen a father could love. Considering he needs more development mentally and emotionally, with all those plots set up he's bound to have some serious teen angst. This isn't so much an application for other dust to join in as it is a warning that Cadaver is going to have DRASTIC changes over a long period of time. I'm preparing him for his role as an adult. Aside from that he is the dust pestilence which can be cause for a lot of concern considering his background and abilities he could develop over time.
This segment is to focus on the negative aspects of his essence and the consequence that can become of them. His angst will come from great tragedy one dealing with the death of his guardian and leading into a lot of different doors, some good some bad but all of them holding meaning. This will be the last door of development before I go into seeking his adult quest.
