The day had been long, and not only had it been long but it was dreadfully boring. The she-wolf had kept herself busy by chasing a few rabbits for their lives, though she did not hunger for them and knew she would not eat them. It gave her joy to see them run away in terror, as if they were next on the dinner plate. But once the rabbits had wised up to her game, they had slunk into their holes, and did not come out while she was about. She felt it rather rude to end her game in such a way, but she snorted and continued on.
The wind smelled of dirt and musk of trees. It was a pleasant smell, something she had grown rather fond of. Her golden eyes gleaming with the thought of the smell. It was home,e ven if she had no real home to go to. Running from her brother, the evil b*****d that he was, had kept her on the move. She had no protection, and she wasnt sure she would ever be the type to join a pack. And so she ran for her life, constantly looking behind her for any sort of disturbance.
Today though, she had put the reluctance to enjoy herself aside. She was bored, and if she had to die while bored, well taht was just a cruel, cruel way to go.
"I'll show him. Im no coward!" The female growled, though it gave her a laugh as she was indeed also no hero. She had a nervous tendency, though she seemed to do pleasantly well with those that had not distinguished themselves as dangerous.

Wandering alone was something he had not missed when joining Acropolis. And now, having tasted that feeling of loneliness again, he found he despised it. But he couldn't go back, not until Kiion's pups were grown...
Sighing gustily, the red stained white wolf wandered and wandered, day to day. Sometimes he met company, other times enemies, or creatures that ran before they could be called either. He caught his food easily enough, being amazingly swift, but the feeling of loneliness gnawed at him even if hunger did not.
And today the feeling was worse then usual.
Suddenly he paused, ears pricking. What....the....Turning towards the noises he had heard, Leto prowled silently through the trees, moving like a ghost, though his fur made him stand out like an albino.
"I'll show him. I'm no coward!"
Freezing midstep, the lean wolf listened, looking in the direction of the growled words. And suddenly he saw her, his jaw dropping at the sight of the nearly blood red wolf.

She stopped, body rigid as she turned her eyes to the movement amongst the trees. Of course, she didnt move her head, she wanted to make sure if it was Stryker, he didnt know she had spotted him. But this was a white blue, and at once she knew it wasnt her black and blue brother after her once and for all.
She turned her head slowly, looking at the other with a raised eyebrow. Not that she had meant to run into anyone, but she was quite happy she did. He was a handsome wolf, something she liked a great deal. Not that she was picky with gender of course..But she knew that males carried on the species.. Not another female. So she had inclined more towards males in her days of life.
She smiled, lifting her head a little, though not in the dominant sense. More to show excitement. She wagged her tail, yet it was still firmly behind her, and didnt lift very high.
"You are a sneaky one." She mused, grinning, golden eyes lighting up.

Leto stiffened at her words, unused to being caught so quickly despite his white fur. Taking in her posture as he stepped from the trees, he noticed her friendliness and her lack of a dominant stance. Though stiff legged, he held his tail at a neutral height, his head the same. Wagging his tail slightly, he stopped a few yards from her, head cocked.
"Are you talking to yourself?" he asked as he glanced around, not seeing another to whom she could be talking to.

She chuckled as he stepped closer. Was she talking to herself? Of course not..She wasnt insane! Maybe a little exciteable, but she liked to think she was far from insane.
"No, no. I was talking to you. You are very sneaky, appearing out of nowhere. Best be careful, someone could have mistaken you for her murderous brother." She mused, as if it was no big deal, but she had to inform him. She grinned, lifting her head a bit high and wagging her tail again.
"Whats your name stranger?"

Oh joy, another crazy female. Leto lifted his lip a little, and took a step back. This was the reason he stayed away from females. All of them were insane to a degree. This one seemed just on the side of not-sane-enough-for-him.
"Leto, and uh, I should get going," he said quickly, backing up again, ready to run. Was he fleeing from her? Maybe. Would his pride let him admit it? Hell no. Preservation is what it was.

She wasnt really crazy.. Not by a long shot. She just tended to be a bit overactive, and maybe a little too rambunctious. She talked too much too, she realized that.
When he said he should go, her maw dropped and she shook her head. "But ya only just got here!" She said, as if offended by him not wanting to speak with her anymore. Why, he hadnt even asked for her name.
She turned to look at him, sitting down, and curling her tail around her paws. "Do I bug you?" She asked.

Two steps was all he took when he heard her words and sighed, his head dipping. He was being rude, and Hephaestus would disapprove of his behavior. Even so far away from his alpha, Leto couldn't bear the thought of his beloved pack leader's disapproval.
"Sorry . . . I'm in a funny mood is all." Turning back, he looked at her again, and sat just as she did, his tail curled carefully around his feet. He adjusted his scarf to keep it from laying in the dirt.
"Let me try again. My name is Leto. What's yours?"
