Rei ulocks the door with the provided key and opens the door gently, flicking the switch as she enters. Setting her bag against the wall near the doorway she puts the key in her right side pocket . Checking the clock, Rei turns and shuts the light off, forgetting it was almost time for class.

Rei had run into her dorm like a suspect running from the coppers. "Where could he have gotten to, he's never missed class before." She slammed the door behind her and leaned against the door, sinking to the floor with a saddened expression.

John knew he be chewed out for being at the girl's dorms, but he was kinda worried about that Rei girl he saw earlier today. He aimlessly walked through the halleways till his noticed Rei's door. He cautiously walked up to the door and lightly tapped on it.

Rei straightens her back against the wall and looks toward the door next to her. She stands quickly and opens the door catiously, peeking through the ajar door. "What are you doing here in the girls dorm rooms?" She recognized the boy from her first two classes and opened the door a little more.

John rubbed the back off his head nervously and smirked. "Well the main reason is because I wanted to know if you were alright," John asked her in a sincere voice.

Rei nodded. "Yea I'm alright, why do you ask? What gave you the idea otherwise?" Her tone was straight forward and calm on the surface. She already knew the answer but was curious to see what he would say anyway. Her hand still held the doorknob in its palm as she stood there with him.

"How you acted in art class gave me some doubts and also that painting of yours . . . Im may be considered lazy, but I don't think that drawing those kind of paintings are healthy. Also I may have just met you, but we go to this institute together so I atleast want to be your friend," John said in an expressionless tone.

Rei turned away from him at the mention of the painting, not wanting to dig up any memories at the moment. She didn't like the change in his tone or how he nailed her question perfectly. "I never thought someone who is more interested in sleep than study, could be pushy when wanting to reach out for a friendship." She tried to throw him off topic with a smirk and a monotoned voice.

"I may be a lazy-bum, but I'm no idiot . . . Now I want a real answer," John said as he displayed the same emotionless face. "Are you ok or not?"

Rei gives him a sideways glance and frowns toward him. "I am alright, just having a bit of a bad day is all, no worries." She decided that he could outwit her at the moment and gave him a straight answer. "Do you always worry this much about people?" She asked with a perk in her tone, completely out of the blue.

John sighed deeply that she wasn't telling him the real problem. "Only for people that need it . . . For people who don't . . . I couldn't really give a damn about them," John said never faltering his gaze on Rei. He slowly let out another sigh before turning around and started to walk away. He slowly turned around and let a small smile creep up on his face, "Oh and by the way . . . The name's John. He said as he waved goodbye to Rei and exited the girl's dorms knowing that he shouldn't pry too deep into her personal business.

Rei had never met someone like him before, and wasn't sure what to think. As he walked away she thought of what he'd said before and knew in a way she'd messed up. So his name was John, he is definitely different. No one's ever done that to me before, except Kaoru. Rei waited awhile just in the doorway, she closed the door and locked it before heading out to classes again.

Rei walked into her dorm room shaking her head at Leon. "You're too uptight, you won't get in trouble, I promise." She shut the door behind him and placed the ice rose he had made for her on the dresser. She walked over to the edge of her bed and untied a dream catcher, it was about six inches across with seven strings holding feathers dangling below it. "Here you go, now promise you won't break it, this is very important to me."

Leon looked at her shocked. "I..I wouldn't dare break it. It would protect it with my life.. but.. if it's so important why are you giving it to me?" He asked shocked, still looking in aw at it.

Rei smiled. "Because you're important to me and I trust you with it." She dipped her head to the side happily.
