!RIDDLES RIDDLES RIDDLES!
We've all had that ONE riddle that you just couldn't figure out the answer to. We've all had that riddle where you feel like a genius, and the one where you felt completely idiotic. Well, here's some riddles to test your mind!
If you've got a riddle, post it, if you've got an answer, post it and see if you are right!
Riddles:
A man was to be sentenced, and the judge told him, "You may make a statement. If it is true, I'll sentence you to four years in prison. If it is false, I'll sentence you to six years in prison." After the man made his statement, the judge decided to let him go free. What did the man say?
A man was caught and sent to trial. After a long and lengthy court battle, the judge finally says that he is guilty, however, he may choose whatever death he wanted. After listening to his answer, the man went free. What did he say?
A man in a restaurant asked a waiter for a juice glass, a dinner plate, water, a match, and a lemon wedge. The man poured enough water onto the plate to cover it. "If you can get the water on the plate into this glass without touching or moving this plate, I will give you $100," the man said. "You can use the match and lemon to do this." A few minutes later, the waiter walked away with $100 in his pocket. How did the waiter get the water into the glass? (A Science One For Y'all wink I haven't tried this out by myself, but in theory I guess it'd work )
Who are your smallest relatives? ( rofl )
What burns in the cold?

Okay, I only have an answer to the last one... Is it frostbite? xp
And I have four riddles to share:
• A man was driving with his wife when their car broke down. He got out, locked the doors, and went to go get help. When he came back, his wife was dead, and there was another person in the car. (Remember, the doors were locked, so no one else could get in). What happened?
• A man was walking down a country road when he saw a murder. No one was dead. What did he see?
• In September, there was a fatal plane crash. There was a pilot, co-pilot, and 24 passengers. If there were 30 seats in the plane, and 60 windows in the plane, how many survivors were there?
Oh, and my all time favorite: • If your car breaks down in the middle of a bridge over a river, how many pancakes does it take to cover the roof of a dog house?

I think I have the answer to your second and third ones, Sparrow. Two: Is it a murder of crows? Three: Well, there wouldn't BE any survivors if it was fatal.
~ My riddle: Often I will spin a tale, never will I charge a fee. I'll amuse you an entire eve, but alas, you won't remember me. What am I?

Correct and correct!
But seriously, no answers for the first one? It's simple, really it is.
And Kal, all I can come up with is a dream... but I don't think that works, because I remember my dreams...

I'll try my luck with your first one...The person was already in the car? OH wait, his wife was giving birth and died in childbirth...
And I'll share my riddles...
-I stand beside the holy man The monarch fear my wrath None may move the way I can Ever the crooked path
-The man who devised it Does not want it The man who brought it Does not use it The man who used it Does not realize it
-What man loves more than life Fears more than death or mortal strife What poor men have, the rich acquire And all contended men desire What Misers spend and the Wastrels save And each man carries to his grave

I think I've got an answer for the second one...a coffin? You don't want a coffin, and chances are if you bought a coffin you aren't planning on using it for yourself, and you'd already be dead if you WERE using it.
The third one...er...Nothing, maybe?
But I can't figure out the first one, though. Or the last one for yours, Sparrow.

Alex: Correct on the pregnant lady. Lily: Correct on having no idea. I have no idea, either.
Alex... I know the answer to your first one... it only took me FOREVER but I finally got it! It's the Knight in chess! The holy man = the bishop The crooked path = the weird L shape that only Knights can travel.
Woohoo! blaugh Wow... I played too much chess in my childhood.
Mm, here's one I wrote myself: Fire burns, But I do too, And both could be the death of you. People look for me in one another Some don't find me But from their mother. I am cherished by some, Cursed by others, Occasionally I make them glum, But I can always be found in sisters and brothers. What am I?

I'll try my luck again for your newest riddle Sparrow...
Love?

For Lily, I think the second one from your first post is 'old age.'

Actually yes, Sparrow, you win the riddle. I would give you a Scooby snack, but I'm sadly quite short on those.
