This area is the largest of section in the Squad 8 domain. Here is where the captain would either train by himself or with his fellow members of squad 8. Sparring matches and tornaments are also held here. Masamune himself had a barrier errected over the training grounds so that no one would have to hold back. The training ground landscape resembles that of grassland or sahara. There are but a few tree's and lots of tall grass. At the end of each section of the training ground is a wall made of Senkaimon, and above the walls are barriers to keep debri from flying out or riatsu to be sensed.
