Lately, I've been feeling a tad bit uninspired when it comes to writing I do for things besides this guild. It's like I just can't write anything at all. I'll try to freewrite and be so blank that nothing comes out. And if something comes out, it's about as good as burnt macaroni and cheese. Very dissapointing...my muse has left me. Any tips on getting it back?

Every writer runs into this problem. You might try the generators at SeventhSanctum. Use one of the plot generators, pick a result, then force out at least a paragraph. You'll probably turn out loads of burnt macaroni and cheese (everybody does) but chances are it'll eventually turn out nice, fluffy, cheesy macaroni and cheese. xD

First of all, thanks for moving the thread (I'm so technically challenged when it comes to the internet).

Eh, I don't like to use generators too much, because I just don't feel inspired. It's not like I don't have plot ideas and everything, I'm just not inspired to really write. sad

What I like to do is watch movies , and play video games.

Then all of a sudden BAM!

It happens out of nowhere.. don't know how but it does

When I'm really stuck, I'll make a list of all the plot ideas I have (I usually keep a running list anyway so I don't forget things I want to work on later). Then I sit there and stare at the list, reading over it until one of the ideas sticks.
