The Doctor looked out over the landscape and took a deep breath. He had been exploring the forests and swamps for a while and it was about time that he finally came out and enjoyed the more wide open spaces. Sweeping his gaze from side to side, the stallion wondered which direction to travel first. Well first he would have to choose the best way to choose a direction, should he spin around and start walking after inspecting each direction carefully to evaluate which one was better. Or should he just see which way the winds take him and ask someone. Looking around there was no one to be seen so it couldn't be that option. Which lead back to the first, and yet still the idea percolated around in his head, maybe a random direction would be more fun. There was only one way to decide this; actually two... well he could flip a could like the two leggers did when they had a decision to make but then he'd need hands like they did also. For a moment he stood and wondered about the usefulness of having hand. It looked like he was going to stand there for quite a long time if he wasn't careful.

Adella mumbled to herself as she lazed in the sun a fair way from the good doctor. The wind blew her thick mane into her vision, causing her to shake her head in annoyance. She perked her ears and looked around, hoping to spy someone to keep company with. Off in the distance she spotted what she thought was a silhouette of a fellow soquili. She hoisted herself to her hooves, leaning towards the silhouette. She began a slow trot to wards him.

Of course he could always ask the wind, that seemed to be a good option, maybe the birds would answer? The stallion still stood there, looking from side to side on occasion as he mumbled to herself. Suddenly he made a decision and leaped into movement trotting towards a likely tree before changing his mind after observing the leaves with the air of a man on a mission. "Too green and not nearly enough blue I think, possibly a purple..." Muttering to himself he looked up at the sky, changing directions once again and almost careening into the mare who appeared near by. "What do you think? Blue or purple? I've always been partial to penguins but then where would the water go?"

Adella stopped in her tracks, her momentum pitching her slightly forwards, to avoid slamming into the stallion. She watched him quizzically, an eyebrow raised, "Pardon me, sir, but are you well in the head? And as to your question, I'm quite partial to purple." She frowned slightly, watching him. He was a handsome stallion, yes, but odd as a duck she'd decided.

Moving in until his face was almost touching her's the doctor uttered in an exasperated tone. "Well in the head? Why of course child! Are you?" He narrowed his eyes and stared at her very closely. After searching her eyes for any number of ailments he backed back off. "Hrump youth these days. Now! Where were we? Purple! No blue, I like blue what about indigo, it's like blue and purple together but then the price of tea would go up and I do so like tea. Or did I?" He paused for a moment before coming back to the moment at hand. "Ah yes, if east was green what colour would west be? No shhh..." His eyes darted to the side as he thought, "Yes, west it is! How about that then!"
