Lilith, with support from a very exhausted Charmeleon, seated herself ungracefully on the beat-up couch in the Team Rocket break room. Being injured was not in any stretch of the imagination okay at all ever. It sucked like hell, and Lilith hurt like hell. She couldn't do anything with her right arm and she couldn't walk at all with her knee out of commission. Serafina wasn't happy either. She was pointed unofficial escort for her injured trainer while she was busy being crippled. No one was really in a chipper mood besides Ziazan, who was always in a good mood. Lilith retrieved her bag and, after searching through the black hole that it was, found her book. She had been reading The Divine Comedy by Dante and she found it somewhat fascinating. The recount of the author's journey through the levels of Hell... It reminded her of being in Team Rocket. She laughed quietly to herself at her own little joke and began reading with Sera and Zia both reading over her shoulder. Despite being in pain and not being able to move much, Lilith was at peace here.

"I'm sure they told me it was through here," said Emalthya. "I'm sure... I hope they weren't lying to me again. I'm quite sick of it, Avarice, I am so sick."
Avarice walked beside her, equally irritated. These people were not treating his trainer with respect. They would all pay one day...
"Is this it?" asked Emalthya, turning into the open breakroom door. "Oh. No it isn't. It's a rec room... Oh hello," she said to Lilith, seeing her laid up on a couch. "I haven't seen anyone reading here, it's nice."
Bayleef looked at th pokemon inside. Really. WHat was it with Team Rocket and fire pokemon?? He veered away and Emalthya began to follow him.

Lilith looked up from her book at see a face she had not seen before. She grimaced slightly. Probably a new kid... She grunted. "Yeah, this is the rec room, I guess. It's unusually quiet today, so it's a good time to catch up on my reading." She managed a small smile and held up her book so that the cover faced the girl. "Dante's Inferno. Classic literature. I love it." Putting the book down on her lap, Lilith looked around. There wasn't much room on the couch that she now occupied... Serafina looked up from the book at the same time that her trainer did and the first thing she saw was... a Bayleef. Huh. An odd colored Bayleef, that was for sure. The Charmeleon lowered her eyes slightly and blew a small puff of fire over her shoulder. "Char..." Ziazan looked up as well. Even though she was still technically a baby, she had little trouble reading, even with a complicated work of writing such as The Divine Comedy. She smiled at the Bayleef and the grunt that walked in. That Bayleef was a weird color! It was just like her! The Igglybuff bounced up and down on her trainer's shoulder happily. "Iggly! Iggly! Buff!"

Emalthya turned back. "I never really got to it... I'm not a fan of classic novels. It's like chewing through leather and walking through mud at the same time to me. I read Dracula and nearly cried at how bad it was... I can't even stand Shakespeare- I like my grammar-" she broke off and Avarice shook his head at her. "Sorry. I run off when I'm excited. The sheen hasnt worn off yet," she smiled.
Avarice looked at the charmeleon and the igglybuff. He nodded to them in recognition of their presence but remained silent with deference.

Lilith frowned. Ooh boy. Not a fan of classics? That would make this girl a bit harder to bear. She grimaced again, pretending that she was in more pain than she was actually in. "Can't stand Shakespeare, huh? I will admit that a couple of his works are a tad hard to swallow..." She continued reading her book while keeping one eye on the girl. "...So... What literature do you like?" Lilith wasn't happy with this girl present and even less happy that she was making conversation with her, but it was the best way to earn connections and inch her way higher in this organization. Ziazan frowned and puffed slightly. This weird Bayleef... He didn't say hi to her or Sera! At all! Just a nod was all they got! The raw nerve! The Igglybuff pursed her lips and bounced over to the Bayleef, grinning and giggling. "Iggly! Iggly iggly buff! Buff iggly buff?" Hi! My name is Ziazan! What's yours?

Emalthya looked at the clock and frowned. I have time I guess... She patted Avarice's head. "It's okay, dear."
Avarice looked at the swelling igglybuff. "Bayleef." (My name is Avarice, that's Emalthya, we're new."
They crossed the threshold and Emalthya sat on the edge of the billiards table. "I like sci-fi. But I read almost anything that isn't filld with Mary Sues. Probably why I dislike classics- the only women are Mary Sues. But I dislike Shakespeare because I love grammar and he has a total disdain for it..." SHe sighed whimsically.
Avarice stood by her side, not relaxing in this unfamiliar place. His stomach was grumbling again. This new food wasn't as good as home...

In her mind, Lilith groaned. This new girl... she was going to be a bit of a handful. "Sci-fi, huh? Not much of a fan. Of course, there are science fictions that I quite enjoy, such as Fahrenheit 451 among others." She pulled out a granola bar from her bag and handed it to Serafina. "Could you open this, dear?" The Charmeleon nodded and gently pulled apart the wrapper before handing it back to her trainer. Lilith smiled gratefully. "Thank you, dear."Lilith looked to Em while chewing her snack. Her eyes lowered slightly. "You have to understand, Shakespeare created his works before a time when grammar was considered important. The English language changes. Plus," she continued, "not all of Shakespeare's classics have Mary Sues. Have you heard of The Twelfth Night? The main character, a woman, masquerades as a man, and I can tell you, she is not a Mary Sue."Ziazan deflated slightly after the Bayleef began to actually speak. She nodded and smiled. "Mmhmm. I could tell that you guys were new. So, what are you guys doing here? Like, why are you in Team Rocket?" The Igglybuff smiled and looked at the Bayleef curiously.

Emalthya sighed. "I know... But still, it is what it is, and I can't bear to read his writing. I just can't stand it." She shrugged. "Though I do see what others see in it. It's very romantic. It's very witty. But I haven't read that Fahrenheit book..." She looked at Lilith, injured on the lumpy couch. "What happened to you?"
Avarice frowned slightly. "Bayleef. Bay." (I am here because she is here. And she is here because she's searching for a pokemon.)
